Xperia M2 Camera Blurry, No Details (sample images inside)...

Hey there! Not sure, if this is a lens or software issue, but images which I take with M2 are just awful. Blurred, lack of detail. I also have Xperia Arc, which is a 2+ year old phone, and if I compare images, pictures taken with M2 (8mpix) are just far worse. Any sollution to that, or is it only me lucky again with some faulty Sony phone. In short, should I return my phone back or is there any software sollution incoming? Greetings!

T410 camera blurry image

Hi!
I am running a T410 with Linux. The camera is detected but the image is out of focus. I thought it may be a Linux driver problem, so I installed Windows 7 in VirtualBox, using USB-pass-through to use the Windows driver for the camera. I was surprised that the image was exactly the same: out of focus.
Note: I have tried various light conditions, distances, etc. The images below are a comparison at the same distance/light of the internal camera, with an external one:

Anyone has seen this problem?
I know there is an utility called ThinkVantage Communication Utility. Which I can't run on Linux or virtualized. However, as far as I know it has basic image controls (which also work on Linux), but nothing related to focus (and the focus is also afaik fixed).
I am thinking this is faulty hardware. I am trying to avoid wiping my system just to restore the factory image just to watch the same blurry image, specially after the hundred of issues I have found with the camera on the web.

Man, you made me almost scratch the case with a knife looking for a plastic strip. There is none. :-)
Accidentally, while trying to move the "strip" I could not see, I noticed the image quality got fixed (on Linux), but it lasted only while I had my fingers there. Gotcha. If I press the area near the lens against the screen, it gets fixed.

So the problem is hardware. Shame on Lenovo, I was expecting a more robust construction. At least I don't see how this could have hapenned on my old T20's. Now looking in detail, loos like the screen frame is not well attached to the rest.

No sample images,

Hi, just recently got a new mac and I decided to pick up Aperture, now i've managed to get everything else sorted to my liking I thought I'd start experimenting. So i started it up and expected the question about importing sample images, which didn't appear. The main window has a folder called 'Nature' which i believe is one of the sample projects but theres no images in it
Is there a way to reimport the sample images?

Pink circle in Xperia z2 camera

Problem with Xperia Z1 Camera and cannot save to SD card

I bought kitkat version of Xperia Z1. There are two issues of cameras.
1: Cannot save images to SD card. Saving fails 100 percent.
2: Front camera issues
2-1 Front camera freezes with black screen.
2-2 After test (Dial *#*#7378423#*#*), The result says Camera does not connect to device.
Some users are experiencing the same problems.
Although I reported these issues, Sony has not replied yet.
Probably, after Android updating to Kitkat, those problems appear.

How do I tell iphoto NOT to load ALL images from camea and iphone, only new images?

I've bee using my MacBook Pro, iphoto and Nikon for many years. I travel alot and take many pictures, and like to keep them on the memory cards as an extra backup. All was going great on a recent trip, until one day, suddenly, when I plug camera into computer, iphoto opens (as usual) but it starts downloading ALL of the old images on the memory card instead of just the ones that have not already been imported! It takes forever when you are using a 16GB card!! Is this due to some update I installed? How do I tell iphoto not to do this?! I only want to see images not yet imported, as it used to be. I am using OS X 10.6.8 and iphoto '09 - 8.1.2 And, this same thing is happening with my iphone, and my other camera.

iPhoto does read all images (how else can it know if it has already imported them or not) and then gives your oppertunity to import new, all or selected
Yes it does take a bit to get all images and see what needs to be imported - I use 32 GB cards - and the other issue is that if you delete impoprted photos next time you use the card the deleted ones will be in the new list so you have to select the rest and import selected - I've found no solution to this

Thank you so much for your response. I had these photos backed up on iCloud but, had I not, its good to have an alternate solution as the one you suggested. Actually, I went to the Apple store today and yes, you are absolutely correct Restoring in iTunes will result in permanent loss of photos unless backed up somewhere such as iCloud or other solution. Well, what they did was restore the phone in itunes ( I did not have iTunes downloaded to my computer which is why it did not work when I went to do it myself, I needed to go to the iTunes site and go to the download iTunes button because my windows based HP laptop does not come with itunes already downloaded). This retoration process took a while and I was forced to upgrade to the latest 7.1 iOS software which I was not too happy about -sometimes you like the way things work now :-) Anyhow, they said this restoration request happens as a result of a software update (which I was NOT in progress of an update or doing an update) or sometimes when you remove the power cable too quickly from the iphone (which I do not recall doing this either but...). Since I had backed up on iCloud all of the photos were downloaded back on my iphone 4s. Best of all was that my phone was back up and runnning and there was NO CHARGE at the apple store for this service of restoring my phone. Well, I just wanted to share the results and I appreciate all the responses and support I received. Thank you kindly.

Master detail samples not displaying in IE

No clue, as its something that your jQuery plugin does. Probably some CSS issue. I suggest you post that issue in the jQuery tools forum.

IPhoto sample images

I am new to iPhoto so pls bear with me. I seem to have these sample photos which I believe come from iPhoto, (soccer photos, AZ vacation photos.....), and I want to delete them. The only problem is, I can't find them to nuke em. Can somebody help?

Your question is not clear
There are no "sample" images in iPhoto
The only way to delete any image in iPhoto is to select it in iPhoto and drag it to the iPhoto thasr(or press the delete key) and then empty the iPhoto trash and the system trash
As to how to fine the photo you only find the photo using iPhoto and you only manage the photos in iPhoto using iPhoto

Camera says cannot play back image

Camera says cannot play back image after downloading picutures to computer and placing disk back in camera. It is a Cannon EOS 50D. I cannot find the instruction manual. What do I need to do to fix this problem so that I can view pictures on camera.

I think what's happened is that you downloaded to the computer (are they on your computer?) AND whatever program you used either transferred them from the card to the computer or copied them & then erased the card. Many programs have that option built in & it needs to be disabled if you still want your images left on the card. It's not the camera that does this it's the software on your computer.
You can copy them back onto the memory card using a card reader. The way I do that is to format the card & then take 1 shot which creates the proper file folder under the DCIM folder. Next remove the card from the camera & use the card reader & My Computer to find the folder with the photo you just took Copy the images from your computer to the folder on the card which has that single photo you just took. Put the card back into the camera & you should be able to view them again.

Camileo S10 Camera does not remember the image-stabilizer setting

Is it normal that my Camileo S10 Camera does not remember the image-stabilizer setting?
I mostly use the 720px setting and stablilizer on, but after the camera is turned off the stabilizer is off again.

I remember that the focus does not work if the stabilization has been enabled
So maybe its an intention of the manufacturer that the stabilizer would be disabled again.

IWeb uploading sample image

I've just uploaded my website which is being hosted by ipage, I used the Publish Site option vie SEO Tool for iweb. I then made some alterations to the website in iWeb and then reloaded the site.
Now all of a sudden a random sample image has appeared on the home page yet it's not showing on the home page in iWeb. I've deleted all of the folders and reloaded them, deleted history and cleared any saved info that I could find under preferences but image is still showing. I've also created a new blank page and copied over the information I wanted to use to ensure the image wasn't underneth yet still it's showing on the live site
Any ideas why / how this is happening and if I can get rid of it?

I would recommend that you use an FTP application to upload the files after processing with SEO Tool.
Either that or contact Rage tech support and ask them to deal with the problem.
Publish your site to a local folder and launch it in the browser by double clicking the external index.html file. Is this version OK?
Then process the files with the Tool and test again. Is this version OK?

Effects Plug ins and Sample Image expression

I have a small problem with the sample Image expression and effects affinity.
I build an effect similar to the autolevels effect. It scales up the gray levels of a picture. Really simple effect.
Then I try to get the color at some point of my layer.
So i add a Point effect, a color effect from expression control.
Then I put an expression to update my color parameter :
sampleImage(effect(Point));
this does work sometimes and not other times. I move the point and the value becomes incorrect... emptying the cache sometimes clear the problem but not all the time.
I have some random values sometimes too.
If I precomp my layer, then no problem, I get the right result.
It seems there is a synchonization problem between my effect and the expression evaluation. It seems to be evaluated before my effect computation is finished. Maybe i m not sending the right out flags or something like this?
I tried with the standard autolevels and the color is correctly updated....
If someone has any ideas that could help me.

In prerender, i do like in the samples (Shifter, SDK Noise). I
realized that the behavior of the samples in the sdk is also
erroneous.
The color returned by sampleImage is randomly the color

I checked the rectangle:
in_result.result_rect and in_result.max_result_rect
and they where just the size of the composition when I do a normal render.
When the render is started by the expression, i get a first pre render:

Trouble downloading Lightroom Sample Image

Anyone else having problems downloading the Lightroom Sample Image from the Adobe Store? I purchased Lightroom a few days ago and successfully downloaded the application, but cannot download the sample image which is also on the download list from this order. When I first clicked on it, I got the dialog box (Windows) asking whether I wanted to reset the Quicktime MIME type associations back to Quicktime. I answered "no" the first couple of tries, and got no download, so I answered "yes", and still no download.
