Guys,         Recently i face the same issue.        I follow one trick, it working awesome....        "Once moble enter the Screen, it took few seconds then restart.         So Immediately go to Settings menu and Turn OFF the Bluetooth."         After it restart once, then everything going to be fine.        But dont forget, this issue will back, when you turn on Bluetooth. So try some alternatives to Skip Bluetooth usage.        Thank Q !

  • After upgrading to ICS my Xperia mini (ST15i) hangs and reboot itself?

Ah I was very happy after getting official ROM of ICS but my happiness goes down very soon because now I'm facing many problems with my phone.
It is hanging most of the time at least once or twicw in a day, sometime hangs and reboot itself but sometime I have to estart it by remove the battery. When it hangs if my battery is at 90% and I remove the battery and put it back and restart it then it goes down to near about 70% or less.
Phone dial pad is very slow to open than 3rd party softwares. Back and Option key response very slow. I know this could be performance issue but this is too much.
However many apps goes to hang, mostley my browsers I wa using Boat and Dolphin HD browser and after upgrading I tries Chrome which also hangs. My phones battery drain so fast now also my phone heat too.
I tried to contact the support thorugh E-mail but still yet no reply so I'm here to ask this please help me guys. I have very slow bandwidth so please suggest me the good way to solve this problem. I don't want to downgrade but if its neccessary then I'll.

regarding the phone/dialer download Dialer One
regarding your battery life, you should check which apps are causing this
charge your phone 100% use it as you normally would then once it reaches 10%
settings > battery > take screenshots of this list an the graph, also tap on each item and take screenshots post them here
delete taskillers, antivirus, battery apps, ram apps as they slow down your phone, drain your battery and cause a lot of issues.

  • HP Photosmart 5510 reboots continually

    Hi
My HP Photosmart 5510 started rebooting all of a sudden.
Imediatelt its connected to the power source, it powers itself on without pressing the power button but continues rebooting continually.
This happens whether its connected to the printer or not.
When I try switching on its Wireless network, it stops rebooting but the blue wireless indicator blinks continually.
Indicating that its on but not sensing any signal (Even when wireless server is on).
I have downloaded the firmware to do an update.
Can a Hard reset solve this problem OR is there another solution for this.
I have checked and veryfied that the units power system is healthy and working fine.
So if am scaling the wrong tree, pliz redirect me, OTHERWISE, Let me know if the hard reset would serve the purporse and send me the Reset Instructionz.
    Will be greatful.
    Thanx

    Hi EddyVic,
I would like to help you with the issue you are experiencing. I understand the Photosmart continuously reboots itself and you have already tested the power and checked the for firmware updates. A hard reset could fix it, to do a hard reset you can leave the printer on and unplug the power cable for 1 minute. If the issue persists after you plug it back in you can do a different type of reset.
I will send you a PM (Private Message) with instructions to perform a reset, but before we begin, please review the HP Privacy Statement.
This Privacy Statement informs you of our privacy practices and of the choices you can make about the way information about you and your online activity is collected and how that information is used. This statement is readily available on our HP.com home page and at the bottom of every HP web page.
There are an increasing number of posts in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a resets on different printers.  The reset itself will sometimes fix problems, so the reset is not the issue.
Some resets require you to enter button combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were never meant to access.  These special menus are used by the developers and support personnel for debugging issues, but they are not meant for untrained users and can have unintended results.  One wrong button push and you no could no longer have a printer, but instead a pricey paper weight.  To top it off, if you do happen to "brick" the printer this way, it is considered customer induced damage, and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only meant to be given out and used as a last resort, and under direct instruction of a HP tech support representative. They should not be done lightly!

  • Found some severe issues with my Xperia mini after ICS update

    Hi,
I am a application and game tester from India and i am using Xperia mini for 7 months, last month i have upgraded my mini with ICS. But the update is not so good as i am facing many problems after updating. I am listing few of my problems below, i dont know this is for my set or with all:
    1. If i am forwarding any message and selects 'Add Recipient' option then the phone get stuck in the Contacts list and fails to respond the back button. Also on returning to Home screen and selecting message option after than then Contact list opens instead of Message and to rectify this issue i have to restart my mobile.
    2. For my Calenders(i have sync with Facebook) there are lots of event marked on the days but on selecting the particular dates no name is displayed just blank tabs are displayed.
Please reply me is this the problem with all Xperia Minis(ICS)? or i am the lucky one . If this is with all then please fix the issues and make a new update available.
    Regards,
    Touseef

Hi guys, well as a matter of facts, yes, I have a similar problem, amongst other...
-This feature I use a lot: in GB, when i open conversation, on the top the contact`s name and phone appears, i tap on it and make the call, in ICS, when i tap on it, it opens Contact list from the begining, so i have to find the contact which i want to call. And on the end, back and menu buttons don`t work in that case (like  toseefb2 problem), so i have to press the home button....
Maybe, just maybe this happens because i installed Skype, because, after its installation, when i wanted to send an SMS, it asked me which will the messaging app  going to be used, Skype or Messaging. I`ve chosen the Messaging and my problem appeared. Only Contacts with picture can be called, and only if i tap the picture...
Please solve this, i don`t want to uninstall Skype, nevertheless, the phone should work regulary even with 3rd party apps.

  • Xperia Mini Pro SK17a, when will ICS available ?

After more than a year waiting for very annouced ICS update for 2011 Xperia mobiles, Sony has removed SI list with nothing for my Xperia Mini Pro [SK17a] SI 1249-8103. I´d like to say that I´ve chosen SK17a mobile because Sony officially annouced that their 2011 Xperia line would be updated to ICS on 2012 march or april, right now I feel like an idiot for believe in this "well-known" company promise and also because I have a Sony SK17a running 2.3.4 version forever.

    this should explain it

The Certification and approval phase: Making sure the software and hardware is compliant
A phone comes with parts and software working with a number of different technologies, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, modem and so on. To use these technologies, we have to certify that the new software is compliant with these technology standards. We therefore need to certify a new software release for all of these different technologies due to operator community requirements (GCF , PTCRB , CCF) and Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), if we have modified the software module related to such technology.
To a great extent, we try to get global certifications, but in many cases specific countries demand specific tests. For a global, worldwide product, we need local certifications approvals in up to 80 countries. For all these external certifications we are either allowed to test ourselves, and submit evidence that we passed, or we can get external test houses, such as Cetecom, to perform the tests.
Besides the operator and IPR certifications, we must externally comply with certifications for regulatory requirements. For example, we must show evidence that we comply with spurious emissions, SAR,EMC, as well as other environmental and health compliances. But when it comes to software upgrades for existing phone models, not all of the regulatory certifications are needed as they have already been performed once.
On top of this, Sony Ericsson is doing internal self certifications in areas we have identified as extra important to deliver the highest possible quality.
All certifications are based on each phone model, and even if a phone model has been certified with a previous software release, the parts which have been changed must be recertified if we are doing a new software release. So if we, for example, have made changes to the Wi-Fi module in an existing phone model, we need to recertify it. When we are working with a new Android release, such as Ice Cream Sandwich, all the affected areas must be recertified.
Another example is if the Bluetooth stack is changed. Then we have to recertify the Bluetooth part of the new software release. There are many apps that needs to be recertified for each of our phones, if they are changed in a new Android software release, for example Bluetooth, MMS, Wi-Fi, HDMI, DLNA and Adobe FLASH. Besides this, we rerun the Android Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) to make sure that we are compliant.
Contrary to what people may think, it is not the Bring up phase, but the Certification and approval phase that is the most time consuming process when it comes to getting a new software release out on our phones. This is one of the major tasks that are legally required from us as phone manufacturer, but is a task that the custom ROM community doesn’t have to take into consideration. Furthermore, by putting all this efforts into testing and certification, we ensure that quality and conformance is at a top level, in benefit for all consumers worldwide.
    Additional approvals might be needed
In some cases, the new and complete software release has to be approved to be used in all the different networks that our phones should work in. Many operators also want to customise the software according to their requirements, which in turn are based on their market, network, differentiation and business model. We implement all of these customisations and create a variety of software packages and releases for each operator.
When all of this is done, we are ready to roll out the software release variants as software upgrades to operators and consumers around the world. The software upgrade can then be downloaded and installed either in the operator’s own update tool (if they have one), from Sony Ericsson’s PC Companion tool, or by over the air updates (FOTA – Firmware Over the Air).
It should be pointed out that this summary of all the activities and phases is somewhat simplified and is meant to provide a general picture of what we do from the release of the first Ice Cream Sandwich source code, until it is released to our consumers. From Sony Ericsson, we hope it has shed some of light on the work being done for the software upgrades.
If you have any question on this topic, feel free to drop us a line below. We will try to respond as soon as possible. For general software announcements and product information, please check the Sony Ericsson Product Blog regularly.

  • TS3274 iPad 2 Auto-rebooting continuously after OS update to iOS 7

My iPad 2 is auto-rebooting continuously after OS update to iOS 7 . After every reboot , it is waking up for around 20 seconds and then rebooting again with apple logo coming on the black screen . I tried switch-off/on but the problem is still there . Please tell what to do .
PS : The iOS update was completed successfully . The General>Software-Updates shows "up to date iOS 7" .

I somehow managed to restore the ipad within 20 seconds time . I erased all settings and data by General>Reset>Erase-All-Settings-And-Data (simply reset settings did not work) . Make sure you have backup of your data (on iCloud or iTunes) before doing the previous step . Thank god , now it is working fine . *** Apple !!

  • Problems with Android 2.1 for Xperia Mini-Pro: no Twitter on Timescape and not all contacts restored - please help!

Hello all!  I own an Xperia Mini-Pro which I updated with Android 2.1 yesterday.  Having some problems, the main ones being: 1) Timescape does not allow me to sign in to Twitter (it claims my username and password are incorrect, despite successful log-ons with the same details via Twitter Mobile); and 2) not all my backed-up contacts have been restored to my phonebook (and yet they still exist somewhere in the phone - I know this because I can bring up full contact details for people who've sent me SMS - but I cannot find them if I use the phonebook interface).  Someone please help?  Cheers - Jos

I suggest that you try to clear data and any cache in for the Timescape app.
Menu> Settings> Applications> Manage Applications> Click on the first hardware button (the one with four squares)> Filter> All> Timescape> Clear data and any cache.
Then check if you get the same error when trying to log in to Twitter.
Regarding the contacts I think you should check if they maybe filtered in the phone book. Open the phone book and click on the first hardware button (the one with four squares) > Contacts to view.
Check if some of your contacts might be filtered.
