Xperia T- Bluetooth Issues since Andriod 4.3 Upgrade.

Hello All.
Since my phone was upgraded to Andriod 4.3 Jelly bean, I've been unable to make calls from my phone via my BMW car audio as before, as the Bluetooth link keeps dropping out.
I've tried re- pairing the phone to my car, but this has made no difference.
The Bluetooth seems to work ok with other devices.
Questions are:
1) Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it.
2) If not, is it possible to re- install the previous version of Bluetooth that came with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and worked perfectly ok with the car audio.
3) As a last resort, is it possible to install a 3rd party Bluetooth App to try and resolve the problem.
Hope somebody out there can help !

I Have an Xperia Z and once again since the update battery drains superquick, the phone gets hot and the bluetooth is all but useless, I work for a motor dealer, since this update I cannot pair my phone to most of our vehicles to demonstrate the system (and yes it did pair fine to these cars and vans prior to update), I get the message Bluetooth share has stopped or it will re-boot the entire phone, I did have a conversation with Sony who deemed that I should back up and restore the handset, which once done may or may not work (it didn't) and they seem to be completely denying a problem, which as I have checked various forums there very clearly is a major issue

  • Bluetooth issues since Belle upgrade on E7

    Hi,
Been having a few problems with bluetooth since I've upgraded to Belle, specifically when connecting to my car (Mazda 6 2011 model).  Previously with both the original OS and Anna there were no problems, however now if I connect or disconnect from car while a call is in progress the bluetooth goes crazy and requires a reset.  When connecting while a call is in progress the phone says that the audio is being transferred to the car, but it isn't, I can neither hear any audio nor can the other person hear me.  The car doesn't even register that audio is being transferred, as the radio continues playing (it would normally turn off when a call is transferred).
Usually I need to reboot the phone to fix this, simply turning off bluetooth and back on again does not work - again, it says it is connected, but doesn't actually transfer the audio when making or receiving a call.  Also the call will not transfer back to the phone or speaker, it says it is transferred but there is no audio at all (sent or received).
This is a very frustrating issue as I often make calls while in the car, and frequently continue these calls while starting or stopping, and it certainly never happened prior to the Belle upgrade.  I've tried doing a soft and hard reset and reinstalling everything, I've re-paired the device, but nothing has worked, the problem persists.  Not sure if this is a known bug in Belle, but it's definitely not working as it should or as it used to.

exactly the same problem with Nokia 500 upgraded to Symbian Belle. Any solutions? As I read on other forums this is wider problem with bluetotth support in Belle

  • Bluetooth issue since yosemite

    Hi,
Since Yosemite, i can't connect via bluetooth to my Novodio speaker.
I did work a few times but it was lagging and now, it absolutely doesn't work anymore.
    Please help me !

this is obviously a Yosemite issue where the Wifi and Bluetooth can not live together
Really? Since I and most others do not have a similar problem, perhaps you should look elsewhere. In your case, I would suggest resetting the PRAM as well as the SMC.

  • Bluetooth Issues Since Update

Since the November update my Bluetooth no longer works properly.
I can no longer use Bluetooth and hear turn by turn directions.
I had to rename some contacts for the voice recognition to work.
The connection quality is intermittently poor, transferring the call back to the phone fixes the problem, well
its illegal to talk on the phone without built in Bluetooth here in California so I guess its not fixed.
Is someone out there at Verizon/Motorola/Google listening?

like2angle  We understand how important it is to be able sync your device with your car. Here are a couple of  steps to try. First, remove or disable any third party task or battery  manager applications, then retest. Next, if that does not help, place the device in safe mode and test. Press and hold the Power button until the options menu appears then release. Select and hold Power off until the "Reboot to safe mode" prompt appears (approximately 1 second) then release. From the "Reboot to safe mode" prompt, select OK to confirm.Allow several minutes for the device to power off and restart into Safe Mode.Upon reboot, "Safe Mode" appears in the lower-left of the unlock screen. If that does not resolve the prblem the you would want to try a master reset. Let us know if that helps.

  • Bluetooth Issues since most recent Security Update

I just updated my Macbook Pro and my wife's MacBook Air, and all of the sudden, our Bluetooth Apple Keyboard and Magic Trackpads are undiscoverable.  I just spoke to a friend in San Fransisco who said the exact same thing is happening with his computer since he installed the latest updates.
    Anyone else having this problem?

Fixed the problem from advise from another topic. I ran repair permissions and now everything I think is back to normal. I have so few problems I always forget about "repair permissions" Thanks for the advice!

  • BlackBerry Q10 bluetooth issues since software upgrade

I have a BBQ10 and a chevy sonic with mylink. UP until Monday night they paired fine everything worked and then I had a software upgrade on my BlackBerry. It installed just fine no issues there. Now when I try to make/receive calls while using bluetooth in the car my phone has to be using speaker. Handset doesn't work, nor does bluetooth. The first time I start car up and the devices pair I can get the bluetooth to ask me "what would u like to do" I can get all the way to connecting to the call. As soon as call is connected it tells me it's going into private mode. This is the point where only the speaker on the phone itself will work. I can not talk via bluetooth or "handset" speaker only or I don't hear people but they hear me. I know it's not an issue with the mylink in car I paired my mum's bold and everything works as it should. Suggestions?
    Solved!

Problem solved. Changed phone name. Deleted pairing between phone and car bluetooth rebooted phone turned car off and back on. Repaired devices and seems to be fine now

  • IPhone4 Bluetooth issues since 4.2.1 update

    Hi,
since iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone4, phone doesn't always connect to bluetooth handsfree carkit as in the past. Every few connections (< 10), I have to reset phone in order to be connected back to the carkit.
The connectivity problem occurs both with Renault Carminat CNC and BMW multimedia systems.
Anyone having a workaround for this?
    Thanks,
    Michel

The problem already occurred with iOS4.2GM 8C134, not in iOS4.1

  • Bluetooth issue after 7.4.1. upgrade

After upgrading my MacBook to Lion 7.4.1, Bluetooth is behaving badly. I have been using Bluetooth to send files between my MacBook and iMac for three years, with no problems. Now, I never know whether they are going to communicate with each other. Sometimes, they both indicate that they are connected to the other, sometimes they don't, but even when showing connected, they sometimes cannot transfer a file. Each claims that the other is to blame.
Sometimes, a file will make it across the Great Divide, but the journey seems to take longer than it should.
I can see that others are having Bluetooth/Lion issues, also. Is this going to be fixed or should I revert to Snow Leopard?
I also am upset that I have to set up my Mail from scratch, but that's a subject for a different discussion area.

    An update on this.
I upgraded to 7.4.2, and this has not resolved the issue.
What appears to be happening is that the sync starts, but then crashes after X number of items (varies each time). This seems to be at the point itunes switches from the 'copying item X of Y'/progress bar screen to the 'syncing ipod..' splash message (the little '>' arrow in the top display and the syncing logo next to the ipod in the left pannel both dissapear).
On occassion, if I hit 'sync' again, it picks up where it left off, but on most occasion I need to dissconnect the ipod, and reconnect it to complete the sync (sometimes 2 or three times).
This is happening with both Ipods I own. I have run the ipod diagnostics, and it does not show any errors.
7.3.2 was working fine - issue only occurs since the 7.4.X upgrades.
Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be/how to fix?
    Regards,
    Dave.

  • Time Machine issue since 10.5.1 upgrade

Ok, so a lot have people i've read have been having issues with Time Machine since day 1, however it's always worked fine for me.
Today, I upgraded to 10.5.1 via software update and now i've received an error message from Time Machine which states that my TM hard drive is read only. I check this by using get info and for me as the current user (with Admin rights) it's saying read/write.
    Any ideas?

    Quick update.
So Ejected and then mounted my hard drive again, went into System Preferences>Time Machine turned off Time Machine and then chose the change disk option. I selected the same disk that had problems previously and then waited for the next scheduled backup to take place. I've just checked and the backup has now taken place without any issues or errors.
My drive is an iomega model by the way, the one that looks similar to the PowerMac casing and is 640GB in size. Partitioned in to 3 with one being allocated to TM.
I'll repost if I encounter any problems again but would suggest others try what I did to rectify the problem. It won't solve all problems but may help out others experiencing the same symptom as me.

  • Lag Issues since RAM and HD Upgrade

    Hi all,
About a month ago I finally ran out of space on my 2007 MBP (2.2ghz). After much research, shopping, etc. I upgraded to 2x2GB Corsair RAM and the Western Digital 500gb Scorpio Blue hard drive.
RAM installation went smooth, no apparent issues.
Then the HD replacement followed a day or two later (just so I was sure the RAM was OK). Opening up the case was daunting, but seemed fine. Clean install of Tiger from the disks, and everything boots up great!
But....now I have lag. No clicking or audible hard drive parking as some have experienced, just a little delay that is inconsistent and across functions (i.e. typing, load new tab in Safari, CMD-TAB to switch applications). Sometimes beach ball, sometimes not.
I have checked all things posted in various forums - repaired permissions, smc and pram resets, and have used Disk Utility, Onyx and TechTool Deluxe (I'm still under Apple Care). The result is less lag, but lag nonetheless.
After booting to my old drive (external and left untouched since the upgrade), guess what? NO LAG!
Can anyone comment / help on the possible issues here? As I see it, here's the possible conclusions I've narrowed it down to:
    1. This particular WD is (a bit) faulty. Exchange it assuming WD Scorpio Blues are compatible?
OR, can anyone suggest an HD that is more likely to work without issue?
    2. Apple firmware is simply not 100% compatible with 3rd party drives - just need to hope they address this?
    3. Tiger is the problem? Move to Snow Leopard and issues will disappear?
    4. Insert your theory here.
    Thanks!
    Kevin

Just thought I would chime in here,
I am in exactly the same situation as yourself after installing a WD 500GB HD (Model: WD5000BEVT). I have also tried the "hdapm" application but after a lot of effort just couldn't get it to work. I am currently waiting for a response from WD as this seems like a common issue and should hear back from them by the end of today. Just to make sure we have the same thing here are the symptoms from my computer:
    - Very brief lag (1 - 2secs) on most things. For example, right click on an item to bring up a menu will result in spinning wheel for a few moments and then the menu.
    - At time of lag/freeze a noticeable sound of the HD spinning up before the action will be performed
    - Computer boot up and shutdown time seems seem longer than with pervious "official" HD
    - I also noticed when I was transferring all my music (43GB) onto the computer the computers responsiveness while using applications was much faster.
Whilst here, does anyone know which HD is the official 500GB 2.5inch SATA drive that apple uses and if apple themselves modify the firmware to make it work better with there notebooks. I would just be interested to know and if it comes to it I will put this current HD into something else and get a more compatible HD.
When I hear back from WD I will post what they said.
    Regards.

  • Apple is experiencing Bluetooth compatibilty issue since they have upgraded their Bluetooth from 2.1 to 4.0.

Apple is experiencing Bluetooth compatibilty issue since they have upgraded their Bluetooth from 2.1 to 4.0. Is this the case with Ipad 4  I have a logictech keyboard and the ipad cant dicover it.  Please advise

I wouldn't delete the firewall configuration as described above as you would lose all your rules that you have in place for your firewall. I do however think it could be a firewall rule issue. You could temporarily disable the firewall on the mac System Preferences > Security > Firewall to prove this without deleting all your rules by deleting that file. If this works then have a look at the rules you have in place and maybe make an exception to this set of rules.
The 169..*. address you have is known as a APIPA address and is normally the address that you will receive when the DHCP client fails to find a DHCP server so this could be either sending or receiving data to the device that is blocked. DHCP needs to DORA (Discover, Offer, Receive and then Accept), which is a two way communication.
    Kind Regards

Noooo! Actually I too had d same prob wit my iPhone 4S. When I connect to my wifi network it won't get connected or it wil be grey scaled! I took it to d istore and since I had warranty they replaced my IPhone. It iPad charger has high volt than ur iPhone charger so when u connect wit it, there is a chance where large amount of current passes thru ur iPhone. So for sure it wil damage ur motherboard and its parts! Many said that iOS 6 or 6.0.1 or 6.1 was d reason for tis wifi prob! But apple never made its mistake wit it's software. If and only if u hav hardware prob u wil hav these sort of wifi prob Bluetooth prob! So best way s to replace ur iPhone!
