Xperia Z1 got entered by water

Hello Sony, would like to raise my concern regarding my xperia z1 phone. During my underwater picture taking (2 to 3 ft of water deep when xperia z1 was submerged) my phones front camera suddenly got blackout, the only left was the three dots. I was able to press the middle dot which we know the home button. And the phone did go to the home screen. Then i press the camera back to bring me back to the camera to take picture. Same thing happened only black screen i saw, then l press again the home button to bring me back to the home screen. The phone again was able to go to the home screen mode. The phone front camera was acting really weird so I decided to turn off my phone. After truning it off, I then turn it on. My phone now is unresponsive, phones noy turning ON. I then decided to get out to the pool and check the phone. when l open the flaps from left to right and take out the SD card and sim card I notice that there is water in each of these SD and SIM. this means that my phone got penetrated with water. I dont understand I was able to close the flaps before submitting the device to the pool but why water got into my phone. now After 4 hour (as I type this statement) it has been 4 hours since it happened and i notice that the front camera and main camera has moisture on it. Hope to receive your feedback. I am a true fan of Sony but this time it failed me. Please give me feed back ASAP. Thank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Macbook Pro got spilled on water.

Here what happened,i went to a friends house to party for new year,i use my mac on the table then all the sudden this baby just took a water bottle and fell which cause my mac to be spilled a bit.So it automaticly turn off and i got worried so i tried to dry it off by(maybe wrong move) putting near a heat source not higher than 50 celcius. I also tried tilted it so i can use gravity so water can escape my mac. Now later on to the following day,i open my mac,it did work.So i tried also my window partition that works also. But now theres a problem(no keyboard problem),its the light setting of my mac. What i meant by that is the lights go randomly low and high at a random pace(think of you use low then it goes high and low).I was curious to what did the water touch last night so i went to open my mac(unscrew the lid then look at the inside),there it was ,it touched the motherboard. So now i wonder should i countinue drying the mac, by a new motherboard(im not sure if anyone sells these) or do i have to by another mac.
Problem:random light settting(low and high light setting everytime)
Question:Do i have to countinue do attempt to dry,by another mac or another solution(note that the mac is dry)
Thanks for reading and responding this question.

MBPs like oil do not mix with water.  If you are very, very lucky, you may survive this incident, but the odds are against you.
I would suggest that you keep the cover off of the machine, place it in a warm envoronment and direct a fan on it to get all of the moisture out of it.  I do not recommend utilizing an outside heat source.  If not controlled correctly you may inflict additional damage.
If it works, you have dodged the proverbial bullet.  If not, its the repair shop.  Do not be surprised if the repair costs are in the price range of a new MBP.
A last gasp measure is to spray nonresidue electronic cleaner on the internals of the MBP and dry it out.  No guarantees as to results.
    Good luck.
    Ciao.

  • What is the iphone's first aid specs incase it got soaked in water acciedentaly ??

what is the iphone's first aid specs in case it got accidently soaked in water??

As I said it will lock to the first UK sim inserted .There is a chance as you appear not to have yet put in a UK sim it is not actually locked  but is useless outside the UK as it is looking for a UK carrier .
It is also not clear how it  would lock to Tigo and then not function
You could try contacting Apple if they have a contact in Columbia .
Apple care may tell you if and to whom the iPhone is locked to and then all you can do
is see the carrier's  criteria for unlocking assuming they do

  • HT1414 My phone got submerged in water.  Only the Apple logo shows up, off and on

My phone was submereged while running through a water obstacle.  I did realize I was going to have to crawl through water.  After that phone stopped working.  What can I do?

Attempting to turn electronincs on after they have been wet is a very bad idea.
It may be possible to salvage the device.
Do not attempt to power it on, do not attempt to charge the device.
Try placing it in a bag of uncooked rice or silica gel for a minimum of 72hrs.
After this process, then attempt to power the device on.
If it will not power on, charge, or operate correctly, the device is beyond hope.

  • My iphone recently got dropped into water what do i have to do to get a new phone?

I was running out to my car after work today, when my iPhone fell out of my pocket and landed in a puddle. I need to know what I have to do to get a new phone. I looked up my serial number to see if I am still under warranty, and i bought the Protection Plan through apple which changed my one year warranty to a two year warranty instead. Being that I am still under warranty, will iPhone replace my phone? I was under the impression that no matter what happened to my phone, if I purchased the AppleCare Protection Plan, that Apple would take care of me. Anyone have any ideas? My phone is working fine other than the sound. When I make a phone call I can't hear anything through the ear speaker. If I turn the speaker phone on, I can hear it but it's not very loud. Or when I go to play songs, they won't play. The volume button has completely disappeared. Someone please help? I can't afford to buy a new one, and would really appreciated it if someone had an awesome clue as to what they are doing. Thank you in advance!!
    Ana

Water damage voids your warranty and AppleCare Protection Plan.  You can bring your phone into Apple for an out of warranty exchange for $149.00.

  • My iPhone got submerged in water and won't start up. What do I do?

My iPhone went into the pool yesterday and will not start up. What do I do? Will it sync anyway?

It is probably dead.  The worst thing you can do is try to turn it on or charge it.
You will probably need a new one.
You can try letting it dry for a week or two.

  • Phone's screen damaged by water!!

Hi, i took my sony xperia z2 mobile into the water and some water got accidantely inside the phone and it stopped working. I tried to remove the water from it and then tried to turn it on next morning.. But the screen remained black. I got notifications and sounds from it but the screen didn't work and its not turned on. And now i don''t know what to do. should I take it to a maintenance and services centre or what!!... But into consideration that i don't think there is any sony services centre near me....and I can't find one.

Yes, sadly it looks like your screen has been damaged, and the only way to fix it is to send it to maintenance. Check this post to see if there's a centre near you:https://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-get-your-Sony-Xperia-product-repaired/m-p/991374#U991374 If you can't find one in your area, send it to your local distributor or the merchant you baught it from.
