Xperia Z1 radio band mode change options, suggestion

Hi,
Would it be possible to add in future updates more choices for radio mode?
Currently there is:
- Lte/wcdma/gsm -mode
- Wcdma/gsm -mode
- wcdma -only mode
- Gsm -only mode
I would want to see also
- Wcdma/lte -mode
- Gsm/lte -mode
Those modes can be choosed with 3rd party softwares and with other Android lte phones. Please make those options natively available. If possible it would be also nice to have possibility to disable dual Carrier -mode.

I will pass this on; however can you please elaborate on the reasons for wanting these functions as I don’t understand what would be gained by having such options.

WRT160N Radio Band option does not include "Wide-40Mhz Channel"

In the "Basic Wireless Settings" of my WRT160N, the "Radio Band" selection drop down only shows the "Auto" and "Standard 20MHz channel" options. There is NO "Wide 40MHze Channel" option to select. Why not? I have my "Network Mode" set to "Mixed" to cover my Wireless-G and Wireless-N devices. Thank you.

Did you try to upgrade the firmware on the router?
Try to upgrade the firmware on your router.
Connect the computer with the Ethernet cable to the router.
Download the latest firmware from Linksys website and save it on your computer. Open the setup page of the router. Click on Administration tab and go to Firmware upgrade sub tab. Browse the firmware file that you have already downloaded and upgrade it on your router.
After upgrading the firmware on the router, it is recommended that you should reset the router and reconfigure it. Press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait for 10 seconds. Power cycle the router and reconfigure it.
Also try to change some advanced wireless settings on the router. Click on Wireless tab and go to Advanced wireless settings. Change the Beacon interval to 75, RTS threshold to 2307 and fragmentation threshold to 2306. Save the settings.
For best performance in a network using Wireless-N, Wireless-G and Wireless-B devices, set to Auto (20MHz or 40MHz). For Wireless-G and Wireless-B networking only, select 20MHz Only(Default). Set this to Auto (20MHz or 40MHz) for best performance.

WARNING: Never Change Radio Band

Perhaps this warning will save some users a lot of painful hours. I just spend hours on end to get my phone back to normal because I had accidentally changed the radio band to "USA band" and there is no easy way to revert that. Now one could argue I should not have accessed the testing menu in the first place, but the phone was getting a bit warm at the back and I wanted to check the temperature. I had forgotten where to look exactly so I looked around a bit and once I saw "radio band" I was curious which options would appear. After selecting "radio band" only one choice popped up "USA band". Now had I not been still a bit stressed from a phone call and been a bit too tired, I might have figured out that I should have pressed anywhere outside the button, but, PLEASE, if there is only one option, how can it be a wrong one way street? I had to backup the phone, factory reset it, restore the data and recreate all my settings and app icon arrangements. I couldn't choose the firmware I had been happy with but had to jump to 157 (with unknown consequences). I had issues with some applications which updated to newer versions without my approval so some saved game states won't load back anymore. Luckily, I could revert to an older version of Chrome which does not ignore bookmarks placed on the homescreen (why do bugs like that not get fixed? But I digress). I had to find a workaround for my phone being unable to pair with my PC anymore and luckily I found an answer on this forum. Fortunately, I anticipated that my app icons won't reappear at their previous positions despite the fact that I tried the phone back up and a PC companion backup, and had taken pictures of my home screens before the factory reset. I literally spent six hours just because my finger was a split second quicker than my brain when I was faced with a "one option"-choice while searching for the temperature reading. I appreciate that a testing or a service menu must be approached with caution, but even experienced technicians make mistakes from time to time. AFAIC, there should be no way (I'm sparing you the expletives here) to essentially render your phone useless with one touch of a button without an explicit alternative being offered (implying the one choice must be OK), andwithout being asked for confirmation (for such a significant change), andwithout an option to go back and reconfigure the correct band (why make it a one way street?).It leaves me puzzled how anyone could set up a combination of all these three factors, be it in a service menu or not.

History Panel Option to ignore Layer Blend Mode Changes

Using shift+plus and minus keys to see various layer blend modes eats up my History. Not quite sure why it even records... you can't use the History Brush to "blend" previous blend modes. And it is not difficult to go back to a previous blend mode. I'd like to see a History Option to ignore Layer Blend Mode Changes, like you have for Layer Visibility Changes.

But I don't see a way to quickly go through the various Blend Modes like you can with Shift+ plus/minus keys. I really like that keyboard method to rapidly view and compare various Blend Modes.

New N Router wont connect to "n radio band" PLEASE HELP

Hey All,
So I just got the new N ROuter from Fios. (P.s. If you want one, just upgrade to the 35/35 plan and they will offer you it and send a tech to bring it).
My problem however is that my laptop which has the Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6230 internal wireless card will only connect to the "g radio band". Is there some setting I can change on the router or my system? The whole reason I upgraded was to get my laptops connecting at "n speed".
If my internal wireless card isn't compatible is the a known one that does?

I second the check for WPA2. Verizon should not be shipping any N-capable routers (Rev F-I) with anything BUT WPA2-AES security, as any device compliant with the N Standards will fall to G speeds if any other encryption type is used. Unsecured, while not recommended except for testing purposes is the only other mode that will allow N speeds.

New field in ME22n - Fast change option

Hi Experts,
I have a requirment to add new field (SLFDT - Statistical delivery date) in ME22N fast change option.Since the customer don't want to change the standard structures ,I have created append structure for MEPOITEM and MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS. But the new field doen't display in the output, even it doesn't come in debugging mode.
I have added this field in debugging mode in both structures , at that time this field displays in fast change list.Kindly suggest me on this.
Also I am not able to find any relevent sap note for this scenario.

i am able to add new fields on the layout and working .
we have to append structure with new fields in MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS and MEPOITEM.
after that we have to reset the buffer .

Rubber band mode

When creating a path with the pen tool in Photoshop you can enable Rubber Band Mode. This helps me to see where the path will lie before I click to create my next control point. Is there a similar mode in Illustrator?

Well, the rubber band option in Photoshop and the space bar feature in Illustrator are two different useful things and it would be best if both are available in both programs.
The Rubber band path preview allows you to see when moving the mouse if the line between two points will touch a third point in the middle so you just need a mouse move and one click to make a precise path while with Illustrator you need additional actions - after clicking, you have to also hold the mouse, press the space bar, and reposition the point. For example, if you have to create something like a polygon with many sides that encompasses and touches the border of a circular shape inside of it, with the rubber band option you will be at least twice as fast.
However the space bar feature in Illustrator will have greater advantage with shapes with curved lines, because the curve lines require creating and dragging handles of the anchor points, this changes where the path passes, and at this point repositioning it with the space bar becomes very helpful but this is not available in Photoshop where creating this kind of shapes will take longer.
Alternatively to the space bar feature, Photoshop can move the position of a point while the path is still being drawn with arrows or Shift + arrows key on the keyboard but for greater adjustments the space bar feature in Illustrator will be much faster.
However I also wish Illustrator, like Photoshop is able to use the arrows keys for finer adjustments of anchor points while drawing the path. In Illustrator if you use the arrow keys, this will complete the path.

Programaticly changing the (suggested only) file name in the save prompt when signing a document?

When you sign a document in Adobe X (or XI), the system says it needs to save the file first. Is there some way to change the (suggested only) file name to a different value for that save?
Right now, people open a blank form - lets call it formX.pdf. They fill it in and sign it. The suggested file name for the save is FormX.pdf. I can generate a unique file name which i'd like to put in place of the suggested default...

AFAIK, you can't do it with code. Your best option might be to use a form field to show a message to the user when they sign the document with that information.

Client Change options in SCC4 (SAP ECC 6.0)

1.Changes and transports for client-specific objects : Automatic recording of changes
2.Cross-client object changes : Changes to repository and cross-client customizing allowed
3.Protection regarding client copy/comparison,: Protection level 1: No overwriting
Please suggest me , above mentioned settings are correct?
Development users are complainting that they are getting error "SAP System has status 'not modifiable'", Can anyone please help me how to solve this problem?

NAC question for In-band mode

Hi All,
I want to implement a NAC appliance for a small network of users that connect directly to non-Cisco switches.
As I understand, my only option is to deply NAC in in-band mode, in this way it does not matter which switch I use because the traffic will just pass through and get to the NAC appliance, is this correct?

Correct. In in band mode (Real IP or Virtual Gateway) All traffic passes through the CAS (There is a good webcast on CCO detailing exactly how to setup both options)see link below.

System change option prevents entry in QS41

in our production system System change options in
Se06 is set as not modifiable, further client is closed.
Client role set is Production.
We are unable to edit entries in QS41, but we edited enties earlier with the same settings mentioned earlier.
Please help us in this regard.

Time Capsule Dual Band Mode Connection Timeout

So, after picking up a 500GB Time Capsule the other day I was trying to set up a network in dual band mode, I had it running with no issues for about a day, my MBP, wife's MB, and Apple TV connected with no issue. After that day I lost connection and upon trying to re-connect to the 5 GHz side I immediately get a connection timeout. It is updated to 7.4.2, and MBP, MB, and Apple TV are all up to date. Anyone else seen this or have a resolution?

Apple needs to create a configuration tool that configures all the Apple devices one owns by creating a network diagram using drag and drop symbols...

Fast change option in Sales order-Additiinal field required

We want to add schedule line category field in Fast change option in Sales order as we have a requriment of changing schedule line category for more than 20 lines in sales order...After sales order is created ,we go and change the schedule line category ...
Tried using MASS transaction but this doesn't have Schedule line category field.(VBEP table)

Field name-ETTYP
In VA05 also there is no option to change schedule line category mass update...
Should we have to do in screen painter only for adding this field...
