XPERIA Z1 touchscreen problems while getting hot

Hi guys, I'm the owner of the Xperia Z1 for 2 months, and if I play demanding games, phone is getting hot, I know it's normal, BUT, when the phone is really hot, touchscreen have some problems, when I drawing lines, something interrupts my drawing, and when I'm moving in games which need to hold the thumb on screen, sometimes it interrupts too, I read a lot of forums about Z1 touchscreen problem, but i dunno it is software problem or hardware O.o plz help.

one of my friends , today has bought a brand new xperia z1, tho i warned him, and he ignored me saying that mine was defective, and guess what, KA booom
it has the same problem as my unit hahaha, you guys should've seen his face
still the sony guys won't reply to me cause they know the problem and still shy about it, we wen't back to the sony shop, they told us that many users who have z1 compact and z ultra are coming for the same fault,
do you guys think it's a driver problem related to the snapdragon 800 ?
come on guys let this thread alive again, if you make it die, sony will live you with a defective phone as long as you still own one of their dragon 800 device.
this is very sad, as i find the xperia z1 much snappier than xperia z2 and z3

Problems while getting the Datasource from a Utill class

I faced a problem when following below instructions.

It would not return from the getDataSource(dataSourceName); call. No exceptions.

I've tested two cases using exec(), as case# 1 and case# 2.

I'm just surprised that why case# 2 couldn't get the returned version string as case #1 ? Since there will be version string be returned from command line:

Hi all,
One more question here.
While I use Runtime.getRuntime().exec() to execute some commands,
the commands may fail for some reason. Generally, they will return with the exit
value set to 1 or others. But sometime, before waitFor() exits, there is a popped up
dialog giving some info, and only after I click the "OK" button, it dispears, and
waitFor() returns the exit value.
So I'm not sure that could I suppress this popped up dialog, and make it run
just like other commands ? I mean, just get the exit value by waitFor() without user
interferance ?

We don't recommend explicitly instantiating the CosNaming provider within a stand-alone java client when accessing beans within the Java EE SDK. We have a simpler approach that involves just instantiating the no-arg InitialContext. Details are in our EJB FAQ :

Xperia z1 touchscreen problems

When scrolling down randomly zoom in or highlighting!?? When playing games after few minutes unable to move or aim. It does register single touch but when i try to draw a line, after few cm cuts off. This is very annoying!!!

is any way to get the current time using any functions in xslt

There is no standard way. I believe some xslt processors have extensions to support data/time functions. I solved the problem for myself by formatting the date string I wanted and passing it as a string parameter to the transform object.

My touch pad getting hot and freezing up while my laptop just on.

When I use my notebook more than 2-3 hours while on floor or hard surface touch pad gets hot or does not work properly I have new 5months used notebook and latest touchpad drivers. But when I use my notebook as playing games or watching movies with external mouse then my touchpad getting too hot but notebook remains normal condition.

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP

I am having problems with my Mac Book Pro Retina locking up after updating from Lion to Maverick. I was having no trouble until I did the upgrade, and now it is locking up, freezing after about 5 minutes, and getting hot. Any suggestions?

A while back I had an upgrade available to me. I had Lion when I bought this Pro. The upgrade is Maverick. After downloading and installing the upgrade, my computer started freezing while doing anything. I might not get this completely written before it freezes. The keyboard is getting hot, and I have to use the power button to turn it off. After it has sat for at least 10 minutes, I can turn it back on. I might be able to do some work for 5 minutes, or up to 30 minutes before it freezes again. Some of my programs are not working, either.
I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have, or even go back to Lion, if I can figure out how to.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Is it normal for the upper back of the ipod touch 4 to get hot while using some apps like angry birds? Is this a potential battery problem? It doesnt get hot while charging or playing songs... Just when using some game apps. I assume that it has something to do with battery drain, should I be concerned?

When the iPod is used heavily like for games it is norma for the iPod to get warm. Unless you hav short battery life I would not be concerned.
