Xperia z1 walkman issues

Hello everybody . My name is Robert. I have some issues on my Z1 phone , songs that I have in my phone are deleted by some time but not every song . Its like every month I "loose" maybe 2 songs . Today I played songs via Walkman like every day , I clicked on my favorite song and I saw some message from phone . That message was something like "Song doesnt exist" or something like that . Can somebody help me with that issue ? Im getting tired from that . Sorry for my english and thanks for reply.

Are you sure that the phone doesn't unlock in your pocket or bag and it does things by itself?
If this is not the poblem make sure you have installed the latest WALKMAN app version installed.
And if that's not working either you should reinstall the phone's software via PC Companion, erase the memory and copy all the songs in the phone via MediaGO.

Xperia Z1 mic issue (low volume) when using WeChat

Was searching this forum for a solution, but to no avail. Using Wechat on Xperia Z1 with Android 5 is impossible because mic records at very low volume and other parties strugle to hear me. Microphone suppresion and voice enhancement are turned off, equalizer set to normal. PC companion shows most current version of software. Dear users and/or Sony, could you suggest for any solution?

Xperia T- Bluetooth Issues since Andriod 4.3 Upgrade.

Hello All.
Since my phone was upgraded to Andriod 4.3 Jelly bean, I've been unable to make calls from my phone via my BMW car audio as before, as the Bluetooth link keeps dropping out.
I've tried re- pairing the phone to my car, but this has made no difference.
The Bluetooth seems to work ok with other devices.
Questions are:
1) Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it.
2) If not, is it possible to re- install the previous version of Bluetooth that came with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and worked perfectly ok with the car audio.
3) As a last resort, is it possible to install a 3rd party Bluetooth App to try and resolve the problem.
Hope somebody out there can help !

I Have an Xperia Z and once again since the update battery drains superquick, the phone gets hot and the bluetooth is all but useless, I work for a motor dealer, since this update I cannot pair my phone to most of our vehicles to demonstrate the system (and yes it did pair fine to these cars and vans prior to update), I get the message Bluetooth share has stopped or it will re-boot the entire phone, I did have a conversation with Sony who deemed that I should back up and restore the handset, which once done may or may not work (it didn't) and they seem to be completely denying a problem, which as I have checked various forums there very clearly is a major issue

Xperia Z1 charging issues/ model number not listed in SUS

Hi there.
My Mothers Z1 (C6903) appears to be charging irregularly after being in for repairs for a broken screen. For example it will not charge when powered on, expect on occasion when plugged into computer, and has a 50/50 basis of charging when powered off and is quite slow at charging too, it is good that it charges when switched off, however this is not convienent for her.
I've read some previous threads and they recommended to use SUS to update the phone, however in SUS's list of phones, it does not include my model number: C6903, i wanted to ask the people here whether it would be safe to use another xperia Z1 model listed in SUS, and wether they have any thought on the issue.

Sorry for the late reply.
I took it to the shop in town, where the broken screen was fixed. When the man had a look at it and plugged it in, the phone started charging no problem what so ever. When switched on, it had no issue with charging either, i felt abit dumbfounded by this because it really was not charging over the weekend at all. I took it to the local 02 shop in town too, to get their advice and tried charging it there too. Without fail, it charged.
Over the week it's been charging no problem and seems to be functioning properly.
As much as this is good news, i'm still confused as to why it wouldn't charge over the weekend, but as soon as the guy at the shop tried, it worked.

ICS update - Xperia GO - performance issues

Hi,
I am from INDIA, I got the ICS update for my Xperia GO and I feel that the performance and the speed of the phone has come down a litte...
I tried stopping some of the apps which are running in the background but still it lags a little.
I am facing this issue after my phone got updated to ICS 4.0.4.
Did anyone whose is having Xperia GO ICS 4.0.4 facing similar issues....?

Games are not fun anymore.
Basic operation on main menu became much slower...
And Sony support sais they are not supporting downgrading, so there is no official way of doing it back!
Ah: and did Update repair... something like 15 times. No result.

Hi all, As some other people I have a charging issue with my Xperia T. I have read through the other posts, but found that they don't exactly match my issue, so here's what my problem is:Yesterday my phone suddenly crashed with 17% battery left. I tried to switch it on, only got the typical melody for low battery and the phone did not turn on, tried one or two times more, same issue. I then connected my phone via USB cable to a wall socket. The red light came on and it looked like it was charging, I left it for half an hour or so, tried to switch it on, it did eventually, but battery showed 1%. Phone then kept charging, but seemed to stop when it reached 9%. I then switched it off, switched it on again (while still connected to charger) and it then displayed 27% charged. It then kept on charging until it reached 44% where it seemed to stop again. I once again switched it off and on, it then showed 69%. I left it connected to the charger over night, in the morning it still showed 69%. I switched it off and on again and then it charged up to almost 100%. Then I used my phone during the day and when it reached 49%, I wanted to charge it again. Charger was connected, phone was on, the red light kept turning on and off and the kept displaying either "charging" and the regarding percentage or "connect charger". When I switched it off and then on again, it showed 22% (when it had still been at 49% before!). At some point it decided to accept the charging and I got my phone charged up to 100%. At a later stage when it was down to 82% again, I tried to charge again (just to see what it does), it did not respond at all apart from flashing the red light once in a while, apparently attempting to charge.I have tried different USB cables, different chargers, different sockets, no difference. I cleaned the mini USB port on my phone, there was a bit of dust in there, but that apparently didn't make any difference either. Would exchanging the battery (probably 2-3 yrs old) for a new one help or does the issue seem to be with something else? Thanks in advance for your help,Julia

Xperia C walkman app malfunction

I purchased a Xperia C series just week ago. The walkman app does not play any music properly. The songs get stuck at any random point like a tape record. Is the phone I purchased defective?

Xperia z2 hardware issue, got it replaced ones, same issue again, now no replacement, wow

Hi Sir/Mam, I Mohit Thapar is suffering from a big flaw in your handset Xperia Z2 which i bought on 6th of June 2014, got it replaced in 20 days and then again new device with the same hardware issue but no response from either Sony Care or Sony service centre as both the departments just reply that they don't have the power to take a call and keep shifting the responsibility on each other.
As you can see from the service number 1-1385156341, still i will again explain the whole story in this mail and will attach the required proof for the same as below.
I bought SONY Xperia Z2, on 6th of June 2014 worth 48,500 Rupees (Biggest Mistake) which had some hardware issue which i realized within 2 days of using it and i had to submit my brand new device @ Sony Authorized Service centre (Rohini, Delhi) JP Electronics Rohini, They told me that i will get my new handset within 7 days at max, and i had to just wait without any phone for not 7 but 17 irritating days which involves continuous calling at service centre and getting even more frustrated as they dint have any information about the arrival.
I got my handset on 24th of June, finally i thought the problems will go and i can actually see the BEST EVER SMARTPHONE MADE BY SONY , but exactly after 1 day, the same problem came and i again had to report it to the sony care on 26th of June as this time i dint want to wait for another 20 days for another changed device, i kept requesting the Sony care to give me the privilege to keep my present handset till the time i get a new one (after all i had paid Aprox 50 k rupees for a smartphone. But due to no proper support from either of the department, i kept using the faulty product and waiting for the support from Sony.
Till today i haven't got any response for the same and when i went to the Sony service centre this time again, they checked my device and they agreed on the hardware issue plus a new hardware problem of shaky body and some funny noise in the back and side panel of the phone (Agreed by Sony service center) but they told me the only thing which can be done is repairing your phone as they cant change it as due to the delay from Sony care the time frame is more than 7 days now.
Wow amazing, this is Sony what we know as about? This is how you exploit your customers? Amazing customer support and after sale service, i think even micromax is much better in dealing their customers.
This time round, if i don't get a proper response and support, the next step will be 1) consumer forum 2) exploiting the service and all on social media like Facebook and Sony official site with all the proofs i have.
I am not a fool paying 50k rupees and then getting my phone repaired and then using, haha, wow this sounds amazing in itself.
I have attached the pictures of the conversation with the Sony care and the date specifically shown in the picture to prove my problem lied within the very 1st day i got a returned handset.
Please can you do something about it or only filling a legal complaint against the company is the last choice left? And mind you, i am a regular Sony user from past 15 years and this behavior and response is seriously not acceptable from Sony, i haven't till date tried to public-ally exploit this issue via Facebook or blogs etc, but i think this is the only choice left to me.
Mind you, i have highlighted the words like SONY and best ever smartphone to indicate the boosting by the company for their product which is with all sort of problems and flaws, its amazingly beautifully disguised smartphone with all the hardware issues in it .
Please i am requesting for the last time, respond and support properly and arrange proper resolution or escalate it to higher authority

The update centre shows I have an update of the latest Walkman app but won't allow me to download it. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Xperia z1 wifi issue

Hello, My xperia z1 seems to have a wifi issue. My wifi router works fine with my laptop. Wifi router brand - BinatoneSecurity type: WPA-PSK It connects on restart. Plz advise. Also few suggestions on Andriod features on xperia:1) It doesnt have any means of grouping and saving the SMS's. Does it ? Plz comment. 2) Is there a way to assign ringtones to contact groups? Plz let me know if any info is needed.

Two things. The channel 11 on any Wi-Fi is recommended, because it provides (simplifying the subject) best quality and range.Channels above 11 are even illegal in some countries. It is best to use this channel then. Some devices just "don't know" about channels numbered 12 and higher. Laptop will work just fine, but not every device will.
Anyway I hope your problem will gone. I will check it right away myself, because I just updated my one to 534 too. And the second thing, Android sometimes is ignorant. For example, Z1 supports Bluetooth 4.0 with LE (low energy), but android doesn't... and we are talking about the relatively modern one - 4.2.2 is not that old. BLE will be supported in 4.3, but now you have hardware you cannot use the way it was designed.But certainly Android is widely opened. iOS indeed comes with many restrictions out of the box, Android doesn't limit you. But on the other hand it is never bug free You just met one, this Wi-Fi issue is a bug really

You can try to clear data for the clock app under settings > apps> all > clock > clear data. Restart your device and try again.

Jelly Bean Xperia T Upgrade Issues

I upgraded my Xperia T to Jelly Bean yesterday and have now found that the flashlight app and the flash/torch on the camera app no longer function, anyone else had this issue and how do I resolve this??

Haven't heard about this before actually. Have you tried just repairing the software or perform a reset after the update?

Xperia Z1 touchscreen issue

Hello,
I am one of the unlucky owners of a Z1 which has a problem with the touchscreen. The issue is known. People report that the screen registers an input, then shortly losses the input and then regains it, making web browsing difficult as anything you scroll by could be clicked by accident. If I use the phone for a prolonged period of time (usually 20 minutes), the screen will register my input at completely different places to where my finger actually is! This makes normal use almost impossible since you have no control as to where it will register your input. I updated the Z1 to Lollipop, but the problem is even worst.
What can I do?
