Xpguius.dll error on install

I'm unable to install the OEM on Windows NT SP 6. I get an "Error in writing to file oracle/ora92/bin/xpguius.dll". I checked the bin directory and the dll is there.
I also get the same error message when it try to install the classes111.jar jdbc driver.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Brett Daniel

  • NPSWF32.dll error when installing flash player

I've been trying to install flash player but I keep getting the same error when I try:
Error opening file for writing              C:\windows\system32\macromed\flash\NPSWF32.dll
When I ignore that one I get another error
Error opening file for writing               C:\windows\system32\macromed\flash\NPSWF32_FlashUtil.exe
and then when I ignore this it 'finishes downloading', but it's basically useless and does not work. I went to the location above to see if I could find the file- NPSWF32.dll, but it's not there. There is a macromed and Flash folder but it is empty inside. I downloaded the NPSWF32.dll and tried to put it in the flash folder but the system wouldn't let me. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but I keep getting the same error. it is driving me insane, please help me if you are familiar with this problem. i googled this and saw that a lot of people had this problem as well but i've yet to find a working solution. I'm on windows vista and im using 3.6 firefox.

Hi , The files you are speaking of are removed with the Adobe Uninstaller and then the Installer will install the needed
    files into the Flash folder.
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html  Download this Uninstaller and put it on your Desktop
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe This is the FF Installer, SAVE it to your Desktop
Since I don't know what add ons, extensions or plugins you have, Just disable them all for now.
Follow the instructions for the Uninstaller, close all browsers, check the system tray. No programs that use Flash should
    be running.
    Disconnect from the Internet
Disable any and all Anti-Virus/Spyware programs that run in realtime.
Disable any Firewall that you use, except Windows Firewall
Run the Uninstaller from your Desktop, then Reboot. Wait until fully Rebooted, then Reboot again
Run the Installer from your Desktop, then Reboot
Enable your Firewall and your Anti-Virus/Spyware programs
    Connect back to the Internet
Go to this Adobe test site to confirm you have the FP vs 10.0.42.34 installed http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about
Go to your plugins and make sure you have SWF(Shockwave Flash) vs 10.0.42.34 there and it is Enabled
Enable Java-the latest is JRE 6 update 18.
Then check your Flash folder and post back with the files that are now installed.
Now if you have old versions of Java installed(check the Add/Remove) you would need to Remove them via Add/Remove
and install the latest Java. NOTE: You can do this prior to the Uninstall/Install process. Post back and I'll give you the Java install procedure.
    Thanks

I have installed both DAQmx 7.5 and 8.5 getting the same results with both.  I have tried to disable all of the onboard functionalities of the board (video, ethernet, sound) and still I have gotten this same error.  (Note: I have done default installs as well as full studio installs)
Has anybody seen this error before and knows what is causing/how to stop it?
Is it quite possible that the NI-DAQmx 7.5/8.5 software/drivers are just not compatible with this SBC?
Here is a link to info/specs about board that I am having trouble with: WinSystems EBC-855
    Thanks

    Hi,
I'm not sure that this is a DAQmx related issue. A Google search reveals that kdcom.dll is a Windows dll - what leads you to believe that DAQmx is involved? I'm not a Windows supporter, but there do appear to be a few discussions in that search with issues very similar to yours - did you try replacing that dll? As long as your computer is an x86 architecture and/or on a supported OS, DAQmx should be able to run on that machine. You may want to hit up WinSystem's support to see what they have to say from the computer side.
Hope this helps, please don't hesitate to post back if DAQmx is the culprit or if you have any additional questions.

  • Ivi.dll errors on install

I am using LV 8.6.2 and the IVI.dll under Windows XP - after compiling my app and creating an install pkg, I try to install the app on the target and get an error saying that the Ivi_CloseAndGetError and Ivi_InitWithOptionsAndGetError functions are both NOT FOUND in the ivi.dll.  I've checked and they are both there.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Hal Curling

I have not installed the ICP on the target but I will try that now.  Seems funny that those two function calls to the dll are the only ones that to which the install objects, even though I do make other function calls to the dll.
I appreciate the suggestion.  Will let you know if this woks.

  • NIPALU.dll error on Install

I've seen a number of topics on this.  I haven't seen an answer that works for me.
I've written a new LabView 2011 application which is to run on a brand new Windows 7 PC.  No development environment on the target PC.
The program runs on the development PC.  I did a build.  The executable runs on the development PC.
I built an installer and included the NI LabView Runtime Engine 2011 and the NI Variable Engine 2.5.0.
The installer completes without error on the target PC.  The application fails immediately with the following message:
"The program can't start because NIPALU.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
    Reinstalling doesn't help.
The failing program tries to read/write shared variables.
Other programs that do not read/write shared variables run correctly on the target PC.
    Thanks for your help.

You can try adding the NI-VISA Runtime to your installer.

    Hi @israelio
I understand that you are getting a missing dll error after installing and trying to run a game. I am happy to help.
The dll error you are describing is due to a problem with your directx installation.

“the procedure entry point kCMByteStreamNotification_AvailableLengthChanged could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreMedia.dll.”
Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. Now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair".
    Does iTunes launch properly now?
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post:

Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall press on)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Still getting same error message. Can anyone help me

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Msxml6.dll error causing roll back on PSE 9 install.

I just bought PSE 9 today. I've never used it or any previous versions before, and at this rate I probably never will. I've spent the last four hours trying to get this program to install to no avail. What I thought was going to offer me a fun new hobby has done nothing but provide me with a whole lot of frustration. Tech savy, I am not, and after searching this site, its forums, and elsewhere on the net, I have been unable to find a solution that actually solves my issue.
I don't know what information is pertinent for proper troubleshooting, but I'm trying to install on a Vista. The install seems to get very close to what I would image to be success, before crashing. The stated cause being an error with msxml6.dll.
I would be a very happy individual if someone can offer me some help with this.

Googling for msxml6.dll error got me here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-system/error-cwindowssystem 32msxml6dll-is-either-not/5f9f4f2d-e124-4dc9-90ea-1b668a7cfc63

  • How do you fix a msvcr80.dll error when trying to install itunes 11.1.4

How do you fix a msvcr80.dll error when trying to install itunes 11.1.4?

    This also work100%
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components
If applicable, disconnect any iPod or iOS device and close Microsoft Outlook.
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later).
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (see note 1 below)
    iCloud (if present)
MobileMe (if present) (see note 2 below)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot your computer. Delete any of the following folders where they can be found: (see note 3 below)
    C:\Program Files\Bonjour
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple
    C:\Program Files\iPod
    C:\Program Files\iTunes
    also on 64-bit systems:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Bonjour
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple
    C:\Program Files (x86)\iPod
    C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
Download the iTunes setup file and run it to install. Use an account with administrative rights. This can usually be achieved by right-clicking on the downloaded file and selecting Run as... or Run as Administrator. In some cases a combination of Shift or Ctrl keys may be required for the option to show, or it may not be necessary.
If you deleted iCloud and reinstalling iTunes doesn't automatically reinstall it visit iCloud Control Panel.

  • I tunes won't open because MSVCR80.dll error - and can't re-install itunes either - now what?

Today I went to open iTunes and received the MSVCR80.dll error - unable to open iTunes.
After Googling for a solution, I found the Apple walkthrough on how to copy your .DLL files to your desktop, uninstall iTunes and reinstall.
When I tried to reinstall iTunes, I got an error in the "starting services" part of the installation process and was not able to complete the install.
    Now what?
I am getting incredibly ****** off with iTunes - a horrible user interface and no support available even though I've spent hundreds (if not thousands!) of £££ over the years through the store.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
