XSD for the inbound/outbound file

MDMers,
We have customized Material repository supplied with business content of MDM. We have added a few tables/fields and deleted few.
How do we create XSD from the repository which can be used in Import process and syndication process?

Hi Dan,
Agreed you have customized your repository by adding and deleting certain fields.
But the point is from where are you importing your source file.Because the XSD that you use in importinga nd syndicating must match with the input and output XML file.It need not be the Schema of your MDM rep.
Eg: If you are importing an XML matmas file from ECC having material master record data you will have to upload and use the matmas XSD in MDM console similarly...
If you are exporting your master data to an ECC system you will need the same matmas XSD in syndicator as well.As while syndicating your Source XSD will be your repository structure any ways it sthe destination xsd which is decided based on wats your target system.
If are jsut trying and doing an R n D with the tool then you can use the xomlite to create your xsd of the MDM repository forimporting mdm data and syndicating MDM data.

Whenever i try to download a rather large file i continue to get the "could not read source file" error. Tried new profile, uninstalling and looking for the compreg.dat file to delete nothing is working. Please help

Did you reinstall CS3 after CC?
For that matter, doing an in-place upgrade on the OS is always a gamble with Adobe programs. Reinstalling all the versions you need, in order, would probably solve your problem.
And you shouldn't need to save as IDML after opening the .inx in CC.

Where can I set the log level for the "Inbox log file" ?

From the Siebel 8 Bookshelf, it says :
"To set the level of the Inbox log file for troubleshooting
*In Siebel Tools, set the Log Level for the Inbox log file (Alias = InboxLog) to 5*."
But where exactly in Siebel Tools can I find that Log Level ? Which object does the Siebel bookshelf talk about ?

Hi,
Loglevels are not configured in Siebel Tools. You have to configure them with the siebel client. You can find a parameter at "Administration - Server Configuration / Server / Events"
Search for "Inbox General Log Events". Set this parameter to 5. It think this should help you.

Fixing duplicate database entries for the same audio file

My iTunes Media folder is stored on a network accessible storage server. Since upgrading to 11.1.x, my computer seems to be duplicating database entries for the same audio files - for some albums, I have 4 entries for every song, each one pointing to the exact same file. The only difference between entries is rating info and play counts, which are specific to a particular entry (I think). Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is there an obvious way to stop this from happening? I can delete and rebuild the database from media files, but that starts getting old if I have to do it every week or so. Is there a script to delete duplicate database entries? (I found a VB script on the iTunes for Windows community, but the offending machine is a Mac).

XSD for the input file for GTS offline screening program

Hi Friends,
We are running some performance tests for our current project to evaluate how much time the offline screening program (report "/SAPSLL/SPL_OFFLINE_SCREENING") takes in GTS. This report expects the customers in an XML format - would you know where I can get the definition of this expected XML format (e.g. the XSD for this input file)?
Can some one help me to provide response XML definition of what GTS generates for the SPL check ?

please follwow the steps:
1. Prepare an XML file with Adress data
-> you can create a simple excel file that has to be converted into an
XML-file. See also the GTS documentation http://help.sap.

2. Upload the local file to GTS for SPL Screening
3. Examine the SPL screening results in GTS
4. Save the results in Audit trail and&or in local file

How do I import multiple Ai files into one Indesign File - whilst still keeping the Ai Files editable and up dateable for the one Indesign File?

Hi All,
Im relatively new to Ai and Indesign, and have been doing Uni work over Christmas, and have a rather urgent question thats stressing me out.
I originally had many art boards in my ai file, but due to the number, I split these into single files to help my computer run better.
Now I want to organise them into one document to save. From searching online Indesign can import these and save as one file, yet automatically update if the original ai file is updated. I would like to do this but just don't know how to do this correctly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Im using CC Ai and indesign.

Yes, effectively I would like to catalogue the files into one collection so i can save as one PDF and Print as one.:)
I know I could save each AI as a pdf them then merge the pdf's together in acrobat, but I have nearly 100 files so would feel more comfortable seeing them all together before print / saving.
My concern is that if I insert them in Ai, will the file resolution reduce? and will the ai still be editable and would it update the indesign file?

I am having an issue with the preview or startup image of the movie file after I export from iMovie. I want the image to an image I select for the preview.
This goes for the actual icon image through Mac OSX.
I am using iMovie 08.

I use a Blackmagic Intensity Pro card which has HDMI outputs to preview my FCP and Color timelines. http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ It is very easy to install in a MAC Pro, mine is a 2009 model. You simply then configure it via the Audio/Video setting in both FCP and Color and in Motion too .. I forgot I use it there too. The card is capable of much more and it is a bit of a waste to use it in the way I do but I find it give very good representation of final output. It can be used to capture directly from many sources and they supply a very good break out lead for that. Did you set the out put in Audio/Video Settings - also on my card there are two HDMI ports one input and the other output .. Does the shuttle have two HDM ports ?

actually we are calling some actuate reports from actuate server, and the URL looks like this

How do I change permissions for the documents and files on my Mac Book Pro after I re-instaalled the HD using a Time Machine back-up?

I had to re-install the HD on my Mac Book Pro. I used a Time Machine back-up for all the apps and files. Most were restored, However, I cannot unlock a number of them. I tried changing the permissions using Get info but it is not working. I am using the latest version of Moutain Lion OSX.
