XSQL & Calling a URL

Question

I need to call an xsql page from an xsql page. What I have is an insert xsql page. After the insert, I want to redisplay the page with the new data (queried as triggers can change stuff the web is unaware of). Right now, I'm embedding a copy of the query I had in the original XSQL file.
What I would like to do, is just call the original XSQL url, pass it a parameter, and have it behave as normal.
I tried xsql:include-xsql but that gives me the generated html embedded in my normal structure.
Example (getting rid of the line like xml, etc):
My original query xsql file:
<datapage connection="demo" xmlns:xsql="urn:oracle-xsql">
<info>
<data .....
</info>
</datapage>
This, using xsl, creates an html web page.
My insert xsql file:
<datapage connection="demo" xmlns:xsql="urn:oracle-xsql">
<xsql:dml>
insert into tab1 ('{@parm1}'}
</xsql:dml>
<xsql:include-xsql href="smmmquery.xsql?menu_mode=edit" xmlns:xsql="urn:oracle-xsql"/>
</datapage>
What I get back is in the form:
<datapage>
<xsql-status action="xsql:dml" rows="1"/>
<request/>
<html/>
</datapage>
The html tag is the beginning of the xsl document of the original query xsql file. I can't use that.
What I would like is to call an xsql file and get back the same canonical format as the original document (basically recall the original doc). Is there anyway to do this?

An even cleaner way would be to factor the smmmquery.xsql page into a page that contains the "reusable" query, and a page that aggegates that data and applies the stylesheet.
So, assume that smmmquery.xsql looks like this right now:

</xsql:query>You can factor this into the two pages smmquerybase.xsql and smmquery.xsql that look like this:

<xsql:include-xsql connection="demo" xmlns:xsql="urn:oracle-xsql" href="smmquerybase.xsql"/>

<xsql:query connection="demo" xmlns:xsql="urn:oracle-xsql">
select * from dual
</xsql:query>Then your new page can simply use:

to aggregate only the data (without the style applied to it).
