Xsql in a plsql - package

Question

Hello everybody,
we realised at first our system with the oracle.lite.web.DevelServer. that means we started the server in a java - environment and call an xsql - file against the xml - parser an everything works fine and we see the xml - File in the Browser.
Now we installed ORACLE 8.1.7 with the apache web - Server and I put the xsql - File in a database - package.procedure.
I tages the whole xsql - File with the
htp.p(' --- xsql - statement ---');
When I now call the web - site in my browser like http://k7170005:7777/pls/.../package.procedure than I see the source - code of my xsql - File !!!!!
But not the result ! That means no xml - File
was shown.
What I have to do, that the parser works and the output will be my xml - File ??????

thanks for answer.
My goal is, I think very easy. Now the XSQL -Statements are exists in a file like C:\XML\Servlet\xsql\demo\airport\airport.xsql
In our first tests everything works fine. Now we decided to bring the sql - statement into the database. where they can exists in a package.procedure.
We realy have here a new 8.1.7 environment under HP-UX 11.0.
That means the client calls the procedure. the procedure will start the query and the result will work with the xml - parser and xml goes back to the client. at first i tried to use the the DBXML.Query - procedure but this doesnt exist anymore in 8.1.7. ( Dont know why ?? )
And now ????
Ist ist realy neccecary to let all sql - statements in a file or declare them in the java - client ???
for easy and short transactions we think it's better to let them as parsed sql - statements in a package.procedure and the client can call this procedure ?!
