Xvid_Vision file, video works now, but sound is scrambled

Found the xvid component for QT, so now I see good video, but the sound is scrambled. Properties says it is MPEG layer 3. I'm trying to export to XVID QT Movie format to see if that helps. Any suggestions?

VLC Player for OSX works great for me. I just did a Google Search for it, downloaded it and now I'm watching all of my XVID movies just fine. Hope this helps.

Why can't I update bridge to the latest version 8.7 or read my raw files from the Canon 7dmk2?

  • Video randomly pauses, but sound continues

I have an iPod Touch 32GB 3rd Gen. I have a problem where videos sometimes pause, but the sound keeps playing. It can take anywhere from 20 seconds to a minute before the video comes back.
This is happening with both podcasts and videos I've converted from DVD movies to mp4 using HandBrake.
    Any thoughts?

    Hello,
I was wondering if you ever found out what the cause of this was? I'm having the same issue now. Using Handbreak etc.
It worked on my old iPod Touch but this new 32GB one is starting with a pause and then has random or systematic stops, can't quite figure it out yet. Any solution you found that worked?
    Thanks

  • Video keeps stopping, but sound continues

Recording works fine, but when I try to play videos it keeps stopping but the sound continues. Tried som other programs from google play, and they work tiny bit better... they also stop (makes a loading sign), but also stops the sounds, before continuing after a second or two. But on a film lasting 1 minute it will stop more or less every 4 seconds for more "loading". I've had a Sony Xperia before where there never was a problem, but this on (got a new one last week) has had a problem right form the start. Any suggestions?

Settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > restart the phone  record a new video BUT make sure to save the video on the internal storage and then try to play it  I've seen this before and it's a SD card issue.

  • FLV video will play but sound will not

sites like youtube and google video, work fine...video wise. However, sound won't play at all. Mpeg's work, wmv works..everything but FLV. I have flash player version 9 installed (public beta). i tried running version 8 in rosetta mode, and nothing..anybody else having this issue or have fix?
    Thanks!

flash player is out of beta.
    try grabbing the latest version:
    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1ProdVersion=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW
also go into your system preferences/quicktime
go to the advanced tab, and check enable flash.
may or may not have anything to do with the audio, but it still should be checked (latest update to QT has this off by default)

  • Need to get .MOD files (video) working on mac any ideas

    hi all,
I need to play some .MOD files (video) on my mac. Window media player 10 and 11 play the files but mac only has media player 9 - is there any other way i can get these .MOD files to play?

First is that you've posted on the "Windows" side of the Discussions pages but claim to use a Mac.
The .MOD file extension is really MPEG-2 format and you could just change from .MOD to .mpeg to view the file via QuickTime Player.
But MPEG-2 also requires the MPEG-2 Playback Component ($20) to be viewed in QuickTime.
If all you wish to do is view the files you can do that for free using VLC Player.

  • Help! converted video short, now no sound!!!!

    hey guys,
i have a movie which is in MPEG movie format, and i tried syncing it to my ipod. a pop up then says that the type of movie was not supported by my ipod, so then i checked out troubleshooting and said that it was recommended to convert which is in the advanced section of the itunes bar. after the conversion, i then synced it to my ipod. the video is playing but there is no sound, not even on itunes...
    can anybody help?

You don't need to buy anything from the spammers that infect these forums.
Check this out. It contains a lot of links to various free converters.

  • Videos work fine, but when view in ITunes Video/Audio are not Synced up

    Hello,
Im not sure how to get around this but at the moment im converting my DVDs to mp4 format to view through itunes/appletv.
The MP4 files work fine when watched in Windows Media Player or VLC Media but when i watch it through ITunes the video/audio is not matching up.
    How can i fix this?

    Hello
When I try to play H264 format Movie files via iTunes (9.0.2.25) or Quicktime Player (7.6.5) the audio is half to a full second ahead of the video.
I have tried multiple H264 format videos and they all have the same problem.
If I try playing the same files in Windows Media Player then the video and audio is all in sync as it should be.
I have tried multiple machines, Windows 7, Vista and XP, all of which show the same issue.
Any help in resolving this issue would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Kevin

  • Desktop RTMP video works fine - but Android gives me NetStream.Seek.Failed

I have an app built using Adobe AIR. The app uses StageVideo and plays a live RTMP H264 encoded stream using NetStream.play. The app works as expected in ADL, and when installed as an app on the desktop.
But if use the exact same code and install the app on the Android, I get the NetStatusEvent "NetStream.Seek.Failed". So because of this event the I am unable to play the video stream on the Android.
So my question: If you are building an app for the Android, can you not resuse the exact same NetStream code that you used on the desktop? Is there a bug on the Android runtime that is preventing RTMP from seeking correctly?
FYI: The netstream.play startvalue is -2 (so it will look for recorded stream first, then a live stream. In my case it is a live stream)
I am using Adobe AIR 3.7.0.2090, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Android 4.2.2
The same problem or error occurs when using the AIR 3.8.0.930 SDK

This is longer an issue. I am now using Adobe AIR SDK 3.8.0.1040, and have made some recent updates to the code. I am not sure what fixed the issue, but I can say that yes, the Android is working as expected and I am reusing the exact same code from the desktop app for the Android.

  • Flash video works locally but not on server

I am hoping that someone can help me solve this problem. I cannot seem to fix it. I have created a flash video and it works fine locally but doesn't when I upload it to the server. All I get is a white blank screen. I can access the Flash settings but the video doesn't display. I have checked all file paths, which are correct since everything is in the same folder. I have looked up other forums trying to find a solution but nothing has worked yet. Does anyone here have any idea on how to solve this problem?
My operating system is Windows XP. I am using IE8 browser and my flash player is up to date. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nevermind. I ended up solving the problem on my own. This old guide that I used before ended up helping me out. I will post the link here in case anyone else has the same problem.

  • Mac 10.9.5 - Video works outgoing, but not incomin...

Hello.  My video displays when I make outgoing calls, but on incoming call the other user cannot see me.  Anybody know how to fix this?  I'm on a Macbook Air running OS 10.9.5.  Need to get it working in time for a job interview tomorrow.  Thanks.

    Hey @l4smith4 ,
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to ask that question on the HP Forums today!
I suspect your question would be better answered in the HP Enterprise Business Community, as your HP Printer is a commercial model.
My technical expertise is with consumer products and software, I am sure the commercial folks would be happy to help if you re-post your question for them to answer. The HP Enterprise Business Community is an HP Forum designed for the Commercial and Enterprise customers to help one another. I am sure you will find some HP folks there to help too.
Click here to view the Printing and Digital Imaging. When the page opens you will see the option to 'Log in' or 'Register Now' on the right. The commercial forums are separate from the consumer boards, thus you will need to register if you don't already have a commercial account.
You may find the HP Designjet 800 Printer series page helpful while you wait for somebody in the commercial Forum to respond to your inquiry.
    Best of luck.

  • IPOD Video is fine but sound has "hiss"

I loaded a concert DVD into Itunes and my IPOD. All tracks were good except for the main concert, which had a loud "hissing" noise.. I am using Cucusoft IPOD Video Converter software....Any thoughts or fixes would be helpful.
    Windows   Windows XP

Concert quality is excellent of the DVD... the other tracks from the DVD that were transferewd to my IPOD sounded good. It was only the main concert that had the hissing noise... I was thinking it was some type of anti-copying filter but as I indicated, the other parts of the DVD concert come in fine.

  • Shooting a video works sometimes, but sometimes it shuts off after one second without recording any video

Have had the Turbo Droid for only 3 days and just tried to shoot video. Twice it worked, but more often it seems to begin recording, but shuts off after one second without recording anything.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong to cause this to happen.
    Can you help?
    Thanks!

    Thanks, EfrainM_VZW.
Haven't seen any error messages. Occasionallly, but only rarely, the video will record 1-2 frames, but most of the time it just shuts down. I have tried it with and without the rubber-grip case; taking off the case had no effect. The video still would not function.
When you tap the video camera icon, it tries to shoot video and seems to begin to record, but one (or two) second(s) later, it beeps and stops. Rarely with a frame or so of video; mostly nothing is recorded.
The still camera works great! Love being able to touch it anywhere to grab a snap.
BTW, my partner and I got identical phones at the same time last week. His video has the exact same problems as my phone.
Another point: I downloaded the Google Camera and can shoot video just fine through that camera. But not through the stock Motorola camera that came with the Droid Turbos.
I'm starting to think we got phones from a defective batch.
    What do you think?
