  • Xygraph axis number fonts

using LV6.1 and Win2000. I need to set the font of the axis numbers on a printed graph programmatically. Any knowledge of what property node does this?

    Property node properties-> X (or Y) Scale -> Marker -> Font
Then just wire a string to the property node w/ a valid font name (eg Comic Sans MS or Arial).

  • BIP11g chart formatting font size at Title Llabel and Axis

We have recently migrated from 10g to 11g,
and we noticed that after migration the graphs have many differences.
specially with the font size at Title , label and axis.
Even though we have specified font size , it always seems to take its own font size.
Some times the font are very very small.
We also tried autoLayout="AL_NEVER" but it also dont work,
not only that the with autoLayout="AL_NEVER, the graph moves very close to the title.
How can we force the font size right for Title , label and axis.
    Thanks,

  • I can't change font size. It goes only from 1 to 9 and can't enter an especific number.

I use Mac and for the first time I face this problem... I used to be able to enter the font size lik 32, 48, 96... any number in flash CC I can't. Is there any way I can change this? I looked in preferences and found nothing!

    Hi Agda,
This is a truncation issue which we are investigating, however the functionality should work as expected as the size filed still has the information that you have entered say if you enter 12 you might see only 1 in properties panel whereas it has the value of 12 and your text on stage should get applied with 12 pt size.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks!

  • Javascript to adjust form field font size by number of entered characters?

I have a form field that asks for 'full name' (first, middle, last). It's posted large at the top of the form. Some people's names are short, some long.
Is there a javascript way to adjust the font size used within a form field based on the number of characters entered into field?
i.e. if the name entered is Joe Smith, the font size is 30pt, if it's Alexander Hamilton the font size is 20pt?
    Thanks!

Uhm... because I never noticed that option before! hehe. Jeez.
Gilad, thx much. That's exactly what I was looking to accomplish.
(An aside: trying to find a specific Adobe solution or function isn't very easy. I always search the forums, the documentation, and Google before posting any question here. Seems like there are so many features in every product that change so frequently that finding even a simple answer is a challenge...)

  • 3D Graph axis font property missing

I just updated to LV6.1 and now I have a broken VI in my application. One of my displays uses the 3D graph and when formatting data for display, I set the font size of the graph axes. This worked in 6.0.2 but in 6.1 apparently the font refnum no longer has any properties. See attached file for an example of what I used to do. Thanks

    spacewire,
Thank you for reporting this bug, but it is already known to our R&D department and the fix will be released with the next set of the ActiveX components (the error is not in LabVIEW, but in the ActiveX controls themselves which affects not only LabVIEW, but VB, LabWindows/CVI, and others as well). There is no set date for this product at this time.
For a workaround, I would suggest removing thw cw*.ocx files from C:\Windows\system or C:\WinNT\System32. Then I would run the repair utility for LabVIEW 6.0.2 (in Add/Remove Programs) and tell it to only repair if the file is missing. This will add the controls that shipped with LabVIEW 6.0.2 back on to the system and solve this error.

  • Font size in  Chart Value Axis & Category Axis In VC 7.0

in visual composer  i want  the font size should be big size in  chart value axix and category axis ?

i think the only way to do that right now would be to not input any text for a Table or chart title , or maybe put in a blank space for it
and then create a transparent form , in that transparent form add the HTML text, have it formatted to the size and color you want and then in the layout tab position it in such a way which it looks like the title of that chart
i have this implemented in a few of my dashboards  where i require dynamic text it works well

  • Web App Designer - Graph - "Data table" text font size

    Hi,
In the graphs, I am showing the data table by using this piece of code.
    <param name="SHOW_DATATABLE" value="X"/>
How should I control the font size of the text displayed in data table.
    Thanks

Oh, my mistake. I thought you were talking about the table. The graph fonts are not maintained in a stylesheet. You have to go to the graph element (double click) and make changes to the fonts there.

  • I can't get into the settings for fonts. How do I do that to change the font size?

I had downloaded the latest updated version of Firefox and I ended up syncing it to my Android phone. I went into some kind of settings dialog and accidentally changed my font and text settings and now I can't read any of my Gmail that's in my account on my desktop computer-it's too small. I'm trying to figure out how I can get into the content settings (I have the print out of what I'm to do once I get into the 'options' on the content settings page, but I don't know how to bring up the content settings menu/page). I use my desktop PC for work purposes and I can't use it with the font and text settings the way they are now. I also read where questions are being answered, but no one knows how to find the answers to the questions people are asking. How do we get to the answers that people give us about the question we have asked?
I hope you can help me ASAP so I can change what I need to ASAP. I work on my pc 24/7 for work and it's not helping me when I can't read emails and I can't fix the problem.
    Thanks!

    Hi!
I followed the directions that were given to me in this forum. The only difference on my desktop PC computer after you click on the three lines at the top right of the screen after signing into your g-mail account, it will bring up the menu and you click on the 'Options' tab. I'm on G-mail and I'm running windows 7 Home Premium; there wasn't a preference tab and the percentage was already set at 100%. It takes you straight to the options menu. You then click on the 'Content' tab if it's not already open, change your font and font size to what you want, and then click OK. It reset those items for me and now I can read my emails. I noticed if you change the font type and size to something other than Times New Roman-size 16 (default font & size), you may have to change the size of font to a higher number (i.e. Arial-18 font size). You just have to adjust them for your preference if you want something other than Times New Roman-font size 16.
Thanks for the help and info. It worked.

  • Increase font size of a print out

    Hi,
We neet to print one ABAP report in landscape. The font is very small to be visible. So, we need to increase the font.
Currently while printing on a local computer, the format its using is X_65_255.
Please suggest me what has to be done to increase the font size to get the report clearly visible.
    Thanks,
    Sailesh K

Right!!  This will happen, this is why I suggest to shorten the size of the report,  get rid of gaps in the columns, get rid of un-needed columns, etc.  This is the only way to get the font size to increase, because the system wants to show all the data in the report, so it shrinks the font to accomodate the  255.  A 132 format looks very good on an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet in landscape.  The font is a very good size, as you increase the columms, the font will decrease.  Do you understand why it is this way?  Think of it this way, if you need to put 500 characters across the page, what do you do?  Shrink the font, right?  This is what the system is doing when going with larger number of character columns.  If you want to get the report to a nice readable font size, you must bring the format down to 132 characters across.

  • How can I increase the font size (Macbook)?

I just bought the MacAir 13.3" migrating from a Tosh 13.3" - I researched the font size issue online and called Apple Support. Funny, you must supply them with the serial number to log the call, but I couldn't read it. There doesn't seem to be a satisfactory answer. I can probably get by with the browser by CTL/opt+, but email is a drag and changing the screen resolution just makes it blurry. I do music recording and so I need to have better control of font sizes in particular, as provided by Windows. If there's not a good solution, preferably supported by Apple, then there is a Samsung 15" Series 9 that weighs 3.6lbs with my name on it at half the price.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I went through those options with Apple support to no avail. The apple display system seems to be locked into whatever screen it is formatted for. At lower resoultions the screen becomes blurry which is even worse. No problems, I'm packing it up as we speak (typing this on the old windows laptop) and it's going back. B=Most advanced operating system in the world, my A$$. Perhaps after windows and linux and android etc.

Well, it depends. If only your xfce4 related fonts are to  small, then skeeter's
posting will do the trick. If all your fonts are a bit to small, then you better
edit the xintrc file in /opt/xfce4/etc. The Xft.dpi settings are related to the
X-servers resolution. Increase the number to enlarge the fonts.

  • How do I change the font size of a data point label on a cfchart?

I know I can control the x axis and y axis font with the font="" attribute of the cfchart tag.  But I want to change the font size of the data label in the chart series.  Is that possible?

To specifically and fully answer your question, no, you absolutely cannot change the “font size” as a function of print.
First of all, there isn't a single “font size” associated with a PDF file (and we assume you are referring to a PDF file since this is an Acrobat forum).
Secondly, PDF is a final form file format meaning that the content is static in terms of location, size, etc. on the page. To change the point size of any particular text, you really need to go back to the source document and make the changes there.
