XY graph display just points, no lines

Dear,
Simple question:
How to display juste points on a XY graph?
I don't want the lines between the points. But I can't select the option.

If you can't select the option then maybe you are trying to select it in the wrong place. You can right click on the plot legend and select interpolation or right click on the graph and select properties and then click the plots tab.
If you still have problems, you need to post your VI (please, no pictures that no one can see).

Hi;
      I am using Simple series to supply data to Graph type Line. I have a requirement to represent null data point in Line graph, where marker point for the NULL data point shouldn't be present, instead a straight line should come in between the valid points. Currently if the Data value is null, marker point is coming to 0.
How can i solve this problem using Simple Series?

I think what you're looking for is this. Click chart and in the Series tab under Trendlines you select linear and check Show Equation.
Unfortunately you can't move the equation from its initial position the way you could with the old Numbers 2.3.

How many items can be displayed on the same line in APEX form?

I have 5 items that I want to display on the same line in a form, but the fifth item is displaying on the next line eventhough I defined it as "no" in Begin On New Line and "no" in ...Field. Is there a limmitted number of items that can be display on the same line? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks so much in advance.
I want the 5 items to be display like this,
Appendix1 _____ 2 _____ 3 _____ 4 _____ 5 _____
But it is displaying,

If you define the 'Begin On New Line' property to 'No', it should work. I just tested it. Do you absolutely need to set the 'Begin On New Field' property to 'No'? That might change the facts.

How can I fix my display that had vertical lines when I open/close the lid?

Just a few minutes ago, as I was adjusting the Macbook's lid, I got a huge vertical line showing on my display. The line goes away after I fiddled with the lid a little. Now, every time I open/close the lid, the lines sometimes pop in and out, always in the same area.
I'm scared the wires connecting to the Macbook's display is loose or something. What can I fix it?

Sounds like the LVDS cable might have come loose somewhere or is faulty, would not say it's the LCD just yet. If it's under warranty just take it to any apple store or local service provider. If it's out of warranty I would not suggest taking to an Apple Store because they will just quote you the whole display, but an Apple Service Provider might be able or wiling to attempt to just repair the faulty part in the display(just know your model display does not come apart easily) http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1434 , good luck

Firefox does not display the basic menu line File Edit View etc. How do I get this menu to show. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that does not help

What would these points and lines be?

I saw someone use InDesign and they had blue lines and solid points set between their InDesign objects in a document. (to determine the placement of objects and text, probably.)
But I have never seen this before!
They were certainly not guides or frames,
...just point A to point B points and then one straight lines in between,
so what could they be?

no, thats weird, it wasnt either one of them, unless anchored objects show those kind of points and lines. but they usually just show other stuff.

I am trying to export a pie graph(displayed in jspx page) into a PPT file using Apache POI. But I am facing a problem when I calling the below mentioned code from a button.

The above mention code is working and a blank ppt file is created when I am running the code from a standalone java class. But when it is called from button in an adf project code is not throwing any exception but the ppt file is not created.

sorry but the code snippet alone doesn't help to solve the problem. Did you debug the code to see if it works? My assumption is that the file gets written, just not in the directory you are looking at

Front panel graph with selectable points

I don't if this can be done, but I was wondering if I can have a graph in the front panel that would graph only the points I select. This is the situation: I'm taking measurements in the program and I want to make a graph with them. The thing is that a don't want a graph with lots of points, I just want to select a point and graph it. When I want to, I select to take a point and graph it, then I'll change the independent variable and then select again one point and graph it, showing a curve of what I have, and so on. I know that for this maybe I'll need to store those single points with an array or something. If anyone can help me, please do so. Thank you.

The data you acquire is received in array form and based on the sample size, you should be able to determine the number of points in the array. Then simply decide which points you want and put them into a second array and plot that array.

I just started with Java3D last week.
I assume you mean drawing polygons with outlines (wireframe) in one color and polygon face filling with another color. If so, I've got the same question! (I usually think of "contour" to refers to plotting surface intensity of independent data like temperature or elevation, but I don't think you mean this.)
The only solution I've found so far is to make two shapes with the same geometry.
Here's an example - an outlined and filled cube. I made it using a generalize class DualShape which is two shapes with the same geometry, but one filled and one as a line.
It works, although I can't say I understand the setPolygonOffset(), knowing what value to set. Without the command, the depthbuffer can't consistently decide which should be in front between the fills and lines so it looks bad.
I certainly think it would be nicer to do both internally, like:
pa.setPolygonMode(pa.POLYGON_LINE || pa.POLYGON_FILL);
And then have setFillColor and setLineColor for each.
I don't know why they don't allow this - maybe OpenGL can't do it like this so Java3D follows.
If anyone has any better ideas I'd like to hear about it.

Reports MB5W / MB5L are not displaying the individual material lines

Hi All,
We are encountering a problem in MB5W/MB5L reports. When we are executing these report with the option checked "Display Indiv. Material Lines", system is not displaying the details material wise.
It is just showing the GL wise value of Material ccy and Stock account ccy. It was running fine when we ran the same reports in Feb for Jan 2014.
Do you have any idea why system is behaving like this please?

In report MB5W/MB5L, click the "Current display variant icon" in the next pop-up screen click the position tab and check whether all the material related fields are added or not. If not, move the fields into display list and then check.

Hold the Shift key while your computer is starting to start in safe mode. Safe mode disables the advanced graphic drivers and third-party apps, so if it's a software problem, this will disappear.
If your screen looks the same, your graphic card or display are damaged. Take your computer to an Apple Store or reseller to have the computer repaired. In both cases, this will be an expensive repair

How to adjust the scale of a graph using reference points?

Hi,
I'm working on some code to display data from a spectrometer. I've got to the point of producing an energy vs. intensity graph, but I'm having some problems calibrating the x axis (energy).
The customer wants to be able to insert filters with a cut-off at known energies, and use those points to work out what positions on the graph correspond to what energies. In programming terms, I need to let the user click on the graph at two points with known values, and use those points to recalculate the XScale multiplier and offset (I think).
I've tried a few different things, and attached by best attempt so far. It's a simplified example, but I hope it captures enough of the problem to be useful. I can't help thinking there must be a simpler way to do this. Any suggestions?

What you have done is good. The only thing that I would have a problem whit is there is no visual response on the graph for the user. You can also do this with cursors. Let them slide cursors on to the two points. It is more visual and you can see where you have selected. I am not sure that it will be much easier than what you have done. You could also use a hybrid of the two methods and have the cursor move to the point that you have selected.

my field symbol internal table is having records in which "Compliance" field is having YES or NO values. now requirement is to display
Total No. of Compliances which are having YES.
lets say, internal table is having 10 lines. in which compliance field is having 6 YES and 4 No respective values .
now i want to display header as No. of Compliances : 6
following is my code to display Total no.of lines in internal tables.
* total no. of records selected
 DESCRIBE TABLE <table> LINES ld_lines.
 ld_linesc = ld_lines.
 CONCATENATE text-004 ld_linesc
 INTO t_line SEPARATED BY space.
 wa_header-typ = 'A'.
 wa_header-info = t_line.
 APPEND wa_header TO t_header.
 CLEAR: wa_header, t_line,ld_lines, ld_linesc .
My data is there in Field-Symbol table.
Now i want to display No.of compliances . could anybody please help me out in this.

You can use another option like below,
<Table>[] = <Table1>[]
delete table1 where compliance = 'NO'.
DESCRIBE TABLE <Table1> LINES ld_lines. .. follow your logic as above.
