You can try to restart the iPhone to exit recovery mode.
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

If you can't update or restore your iOS device

Recovery mode erases your device and restores it, which should resolve the issue. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you may be able to restore from your backup after recovery.

Windows has a software updater built into Windows and when you install the Boot Camp drivers then it will install an Apple software updater also. I believe Windows is set to automatically download and install your updates as does the Apple software Updater. They both will update the individual files it needs to periodically.
"Microsoft updates" and "Windows updates" are basically the same thing in Windows. Are you talking about the "Windows support software" when downloading from Boot Camp Assistant? Apple installs a software updater for it's Boot Camp drivers in Windows 7 so you can do it manually or automatically.
The "Hot Fix" your referring to is only for certain motherboards built from other Windows only computer manufacturers and does NOT pertain to any Apple computers.

Are you streaming or syncing you music? Sounds like you're streaming music directly from iTunes.
There can be many different issues. First, try power-cycling you wireless router (leave router disconnected for about 1 or 2 minutes) to refresh the wireless communication betweek both devices.
Make sure all software updates have been installed, for Apple TV and iTunes. -

yes you need the updates and patches.
Only some of the drivers that Windows will automatically install at times
and always make sure to insure it is using restore points
do all the maintenance andsuch as normal
use MS Security Essentials for AV is really top notch
Clean disk space
Use WinClone new program to inisure you have a restore image -
My daughter has entered the wrong passcode too many times on her iPOD Touch, it is now disabled. When I connect to iTunes, it will not let me go any further until I enter the correct passcode. I no longer get the option to do this, all I get is iPOD disabled. Help Please
Restore the iPod from the computer to which the iPod is synced. For information and instructions, see:

why is it when i update my status on facebook from iphone it splits the updates into two differents boxes with some funky symbols at the beginning.. I have uninstall facebook and installed it over and it still does it. only the facebook IPHONE app where it says to update staus text to FBOOK i have already update my phone too.
if i go on the facebook site and update there through a brower on iphone it will work fine just cant us IPHONE mobile upload, . But its a pain of not using my IPHONE APP for facebook cause it does that.The warranty entitles you to complimentary phone support for the first 90 days of ownership.

Open Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application use the APP tab and capture that scree to show Photoshop is installed and up to date like I did. Capture that screen. Show us you have installed Photoshop and its up to date.
Open Photoshop and use menu Help it should show tha its activated because there will be a menu item Sign Out. If it is Sign In, Sign in using the account that has the subscription the one you used above to Activate Photoshop. -

From an older post...
Facebook changed their mobile site so that it's the same for other mobile devices as it is iOS devices. The result is, if you post using the mobile website, it no longer labels what device you used, just that it was the mobile website. -

Someone else may have a workaround, but, as far as I know, if you cannot interact with the screen on the iPhone, there is no way to unlock it so you can get to your contacts.
Were you saving them to iCloud by chance? If so, you can restore them to your new phone.

I've broken my iPhone and have put my sim card in my old iPhone 3. If I plug my old iPhone 3 into my computer, will it update the iPhone 3 with everything that is on my phone that is now broken, or will it 'update' iTunes with what was on the old iPhone?
Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off. -

Because that's not how Facebook does it anymore. I believe that it shows as "Mobile" regardless of the brand of mobile phone.

While updating ipod touch we now have a blank screen. I have updated itunes but am unable to sync because the ipod does not show under devices. I have tried shuttng down and restarting but only have a blank screen or ap0ple logo. Sometimes the screen shows connect to itunes but that has been it.
I have the same problem, after upgrading my itouch to iOS6, it doesNOT respond to anything, apple logo stays on the screen all the time and does NOTHING! restore does not work either.... i hope we can get an answer from someone soon... apple support did not have an asnwer.

I am signed into itunes with my id and my iphone / ipad are also on this id but when i go in to manage devices its only showing the iphone. Also just up dated my ipad now its saying not charging when its hooked up to the computer?
If the problem persists, you'll probably have to make another apple id, it wont take off any games or music or apps or anything you've bought it will all stay there, i have two apple id's and i don't have a problem with anything.
