Y40-70 AMD R9 m275 stuck low MHz problem report

My laptop y40-70 has 8G RAM, i7-4510u, R9 m275x 2G, 256G SSD. I have both win8.1 and win10 installed right now. have 3 problem to report.
Problem 1: after receive 15.200.1046.2 driver on my Lenovo Y40-70 windows 10 10240build , I got infinite blue screen on every boot up with message"internal power error".
I already try reinstall windows 10, I try install video card driver from official Lenovo support for Y40, the driver vision is 15.200.1050, no blue screen at all and it would makes the windows updata auto skip the new 15.200.1046.2 updata. I also try reinstall windows10 and just let windows updata download and install all drivers, the blue screen comes out again after it install the new 15.200.1046.2 driver.
Plz fix this.
Problem 2: this problem exited for long times ago, the AMD R9 M275 on Lenovo Y40-70 randomly drop/stuck low frequency around 300-400Mhz within some 3D games, mostly in GTA5 , by random, I mean, random. Like in GTA5, GPU-Z shown that it sometimesdrop and stuck to 300 Mhz at only 68℃, which is like just start the game 3 mins, and the game drop to 14fps; But sometimes even start the game for 1 hour, and the GPU gets 85℃, it reminds 925Mhz, the game would stay above 30fps.
This problem not only happened to me, but also a lot of Chinese Y40 user, if you go 百度贴吧and go Y40贴吧, you could find many people have the same problem.
and in Lenovo NA forum:Y40 r9 m275 stuck at 300 mhz - Lenovo Community people have the same issure but Lenovo does not give a sht.
please dont tell me to plug in charger set high performance those kind of stuff, I already did, and I install all drivers from official Lenovo Y40 driver support site and AMD driver site.
Problem 3: with Official 15.7 driver installed (15.200.1046.0) from AMD driver site ,
In windows 10 10240, GTA5 laggy as hell when scene change fast such as driving, but when you slowly or evern just stand, the fps would remind steady with no lag.
In windows 8.1, GTA5 no lag at all with the same in game setting as in windows 10, besides the GPU random drop low Mhz problem, tha game runs smooth.
please fix these annoying problems. SRRY for my bad English.

Stephen,
You report is a Kernel Panic report. It appears your computer is crashing when OS X "sees"
com.avatron.AVExFramebuffer 1.7
com.avatron.AVExVideo 1.7
I would recommend either updating the apps that use those files or following the developers instructions or uninstalling them. It also appears you have upgraded the RAM on your computer. Kernel Panics can frequently be RAM related and iMacs are sensitive to RAM. The causes can be:
Incorrect RAM
Failed RAM
Unseated RAM
You can tell fairly easily if the KP is caused by RAM by removing the upgraded RAM and running with the original Apple RAM. If the KP's disappear you know it's a RAM issue, then it's a simple matter of determining which of the three RAM problems it is.

I've had my Vision: W player for about a year now, with no big problems (except for the fact that when I shut it down, it gets stuck on the "shutting down" screen for about 5 minutes, where I think it closes only because it's the idle shutdown. Any help on that, also?)
Yesterday I tried teh Sync for the first time, seeing if I could syn DVD movies onto it. (I couldn't.) This morning, when I wanted to use it, I turned it on and it said "Firmware problem"
This was before coming onto the forums. Well I decided to "Clean Up" and after that it still didn't work. I tried rebooting a couple of times, but nothing. Then, it being a firmware problem, I decided to press reload firmware - not knowing what i was doing. I decided at that time that it would be a good idea to back up my files before proceeding to any other ste
    ps.
After connecting it to my computer, it simply said "Storage Media - 50 GB of 50 GB" and was completely empty.
I, being devastated and helpless, found this site and decided I'll download the firmware then try reloading it again. Unfortunately the first time I tried updating it, it stopped updating near the end. I waited about 0 minutes but it still didn't finish. I disconnected my player and removed the battery because it wouldn't shut down any other way. After replacing the battery, connecting the player, and turning it on again, it simply got stuck on "Firmware Problem" on the screen.
    What do I do now?

I tried doing that but it doesn't work. The firmware upgrade screen doesn't see my player as connected. I've tried having the palyer off, then turning it on, and disconnecting/reconnecting but even while it's connected the player isn't docked and still has the firmware problem screen.

Nope. Can't say that it does. I think I have about 100 charge cycles on it and it still performs like near new. How long have you had your 3GS?

How to fix the stuck in headphone problem?

First try a reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)
    If not try this:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

  • AMD FirePro 2270 stuck at low resolution

    Hey all,
my new box came with a AMD FirePro 2270 and a BENQ 27" (BL2710)monitor. When starting up X (gnome as WM), resolution is stuck at 1680x1050 instead of the desired 2560x1440. Both card and monitor should be able to handle this resolution.
I am using the xf86-video-ati driver and I read the wiki page on ATI (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ATI), but alas, nothing seems to help.
I've tried to add new modelines as explained here (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xr … esolutions), but then I get a garbled screen:
    [kebil@ds9 ~]$ cvt 2560 1440
    # 2560x1440 59.96 Hz (CVT 3.69M9) hsync: 89.52 kHz; pclk: 312.25 MHz
    Modeline "2560x1440_60.00" 312.25 2560 2752 3024 3488 1440 1443 1448 1493 -hsync +vsync
    [kebil@ds9 ~]$ xrandr --newmode "2560x1440_60.00" 312.25 2560 2728 3000 3440 1440 1443 1448 1482 -hsync +vsync
    [kebil@ds9 ~]$ xrandr --addmode DVI-0 2560x1440_60.00
According to Xorg.0.log, it would seem that under the section "supported detailed timing" there is support for resolutions up until my desired resolution of 2560x1440.
The EDID in the log indeed only goes up until 1680x1050
So how do I debug this? Is it something hardware related (as in: should i have gone for another graphics card?) or is it the monitor that doesn't send the right EDID? Have I been generating the wrong modeline for the above mentioned xrandr?
This is completely new arch install so everything is up to date.

  • Combine my RAM with RAM of the same brand but lower MHz or another brand with exact same specifics?

    Hello,
I want to upgrade the RAM of my HP Pavilion g6 2053sd (upgraded from windows 7 to windows 8, 64-bit) from 4gb to 8gb.
It currently has a Samsung DDR3 SODIMM 4gb, 1600 MHz.
I can't find the exact same module. The two closest ones are:
    1. Samsung DDR3 SODIMM 4gb, 1333 MHz.
    2. Corsair Vengeance SODIMM 4gb, 1600 MHz.
Can I combine these with my current module and if yes, which one would be best?
    Thanks in advance!
    This question was solved.

I would just buy a new kit: http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=Pavilion%20g6-2040nr&Cat=RAM
    It's less than $40.

You should be working from known data point to unknown data points,  Suggest you first use recommended OEM voltages for CPU and RAM to figure out the MAX Prime 95 stable OC you can reach with your PC.  You can then slowly increase your Vcore and/or Vdimm to find out if it makes a difference or allows you a higher Prime 95 stable OC.
You should also use other software such as 3Dmark XX, PC Mark XX, Everest, .... to compare the perforance of your different Prime 95 stable OC to figure out which one is best for your system.  The highest OC number will not necessarly be the setup that will provide you with the overall best performance.  Finding the OC sweetspot for any system is a slow and tedious process/

I was concerned that the graphic card had failed again so quickly I worried there may be another defective part was causing the graphic card failure. I figured the most likely cause would be overheating and since the graphics card has an independent heatsink and cooling fan assembly I submitted Dell Warranty Request W03725377 requesting new hard drive, new graphics card, and new graphics card heatsink.
18 July 2013 - my client was again experiencing display problems. He reported:
The laptop has developed the same problem again. Soon as I switched it on over the weekend, the screen split into two and then it froze and then there  were stripes on the screen. I shut it down and switched it on again, hoping this will work but the screen just remained black.
I booted into Dell Diags and shortly after starting the basic test when the test moved from solid blue to the GUI vertical yellow bars appeared. The yellow bars were visible throughout all testing except the LCD test and on the BIOS Screen. The LCD test didn't show the yellow vertical bars but it did show the repeating series of white dots that I have seen before with previous graphics card memory failures. I tried booting into Safe Mode and Safe Mode VGA 640 x 480. All attempts end with a black screen.
I can order and replace the graphics card under warranty but it seems obvious that something is causing the repeated graphic card failures and I want to fix the problem. I've been searching the forums and it seems other people have been experiencing related problems. I've quoted a thread I believe may be relevant
This thread explores a possible combination of LCD Panel Manufacturer and Graphics Card Manufacturer/ Model

I believe I have a similar problem with my Dell M6600 with AMD(ATI) M8900 graphics card. I've used the computer without problems for 1 1/2 years and 3 days ago I noticed the mouse pointer getting corrupted, then the screen flashed and went dark. I've tried system restore without success. When I remove all the ATI software, the computer works with the Generic VGA driver. I spent 2 days trying to reinstall the ATI drivers from both Dell and AMD with no success again. This has been very frustrating as it takes hours to do a system repair check, boot in Safe Mode and remove the ATI software. When the ATI driver/software bundle is installed the computer does not boot correctly and go to a black screen after the Windows boot up logo. As soon as I remove all the ATI drivers and software the computer boots again and works with the Generic VGA driver. I don't want to erase my hard drives (RAID 1) just to try to fix this. I will buy another laptop hard drive and try a clean Windows 7 Pro install. My guess is that either the graphic card is going bad or ATI drivers are not compatible with the latest Windows Update. Did you have any luck fixing your problem?

  • [Athlon64] Low Voltage Problem

Just built a new box and ran MSI PC Alert to check voltages, temps, etc.  The monitor program reported all temps, fan speed and voltages as good except 3.3v was reported as 0.56v!!!  I immediately checked the Bios and found the following voltages: Vcore/1.5v  12v/11.9  5v/4.9  Batt/3.0.
Since I couldn't find a phone number for MSI Support, I sent them a request form listing my concern. No response for 4 days.  Sent Antec a request and they advised me to check their power supply with a volt meter which I did.  The voltages were right on.  The system ran very stable for a few days then started having the BSOD.  I continued to monitor temps, fan speeds and voltages and all appeared fine with the exception of the errant 3.3 v which is steady at 0.56.  The BSOD may be related to my US Robotics wireless lan as the common denominator seemed to be when accessing the internet.  Updated the driver for this devise this AM and haven't had a problem since.  My main concern is the low 3.3v reading.  Any suggestions on what I can do to bring this reading into specs would be appreciated.

    Hi,I also have a the same problem,3.3V shows as0.56v with my k8m neo-v
But its working solid as rock,no other problems
I installed PC Alert3 and 4 ,speed fans, and EVEREST to check it out.But All of them showed 0.56V LOL
No replies from the MSI support as usual.
First i thought it was a BIOS problem before I saw your post, because my sempron+3000 cannot use
cool and quiet . Waiting for the BIOS to support cool and quiet. 64 2800 is OK.
I checked with different PSU(much powerful) units and diferrent combinations of memories(all tested with mem86)
I still dont know if this is a hardware or software problem,I am gonna try with WIN2K not XP and
find out whether it still shows 0.56V.
I know that if its really 0.56V ,it will not even boot.I am thinking its a sensor problem of the mobo
since everything is working fine, only 3.3V problem.

every time i play warcraft3 after 30 mins of playing the fps rate drops... i try to search for solutions but all i have seen is 8400gs is not good for gaming T_T????? but i played high graphic game like cabal online but it works smoothly..
i would like to know if it is true...
i once have a 128 videocard and AMD 200xp MSI motherboard it works very fine...
    pls help...
    thanks in advance

One of my friends has an 8400 and it works great with warcraft 3. He plays it maxed out settings at 1280x1024. Nice and smooth. He only has a E4600. I assume you have latest graphic drivers and warcraft 3 patch (1.22a)? Hope it helps. I have a 8600 GT and it works great for low end gaming and they are only like 80 dollars. I would not recommend the MSI one that I use. It has passive cooling and runs very hot. Other then that it works great. For under a hundred dollars, I believe the best graphics card is a 3850.
    Good luck, Taz

  • Low memory problem in nokia c5-03

I wanted to install the Viber application for Nokia on my phone. But the memory is low and a message is displayed "Low memory on C".  I have deleted all my messages and images are also not present. I have checked the phone memory the total size of the contents is 21.3 kb. I have a phone memory of 75.4 MB, but the free space is just 2.99MB. There are about 30 MB SIS applications and 42MB 0f Other files. Can i delete these files??
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Memory Full: Delete or remove some data from C: Phone memory"
The phone notifies you if the phone memory or memory card memory is getting low. There can be different error messages shown this situation, e.g.:
"Memory Full: Delete or remove some data from C: Phone memory"
"Disk Full : Automatic retrieval of mailbox for exchange disabled"
To free phone memory, transfer some data to the memory card with the File mgr application (select Menu > Applications > File mgr.). Select or mark files to be moved, select Options > Organise > Move to folder and then the destination folder.
In order to free memory, you could also remove or move the following:
Messages from Inbox, Drafts and Sent folders in Messaging.
Retrieved e-mail messages from the phone memory.
Saved Web pages. Clear the web browser cache to free some memory (select Options > Clear privacy data > Cache).
Saved images, videos, or sound files.
    Contact information.
    Calendar notes.
    Downloaded application packages.
If there are applications which are not needed any more, uninstall them (select Menu > Settings > Data mgr. > App.mgr. > Installed apps.).
Any other data that you no longer need
If possible, use the memory card instead of phone memory in the Camera application (select Options > Settings > Memory in use to define the memory where the images are stored). You can also use Nokia Suite to transfer images and video clips to your PC.
If you are deleting multiple items and any of the following notes are shown: Not enough memory to perform operation. Delete some data first or Memory low. Delete some data, try deleting items one by one (starting from the smallest item).
LAST OPTION Is hard reset TYPE in *#7370# code os 12345 if asked.
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • TO EVERYONE HAVING LOW SPACE PROBLEMS WHEN TRYING TO UPDATE TO 2.3

If you're trying to update your Droid Incredible from Android 2.2 to 2.3.4, but it's failing due to a low space error, then check out the following solution that worked for me and for many others:
    http://forums.androidcentral.com/verizon-droid-incredible/134246-second-gb-update-patch-wont-reboot-issue-solved.html
I'm happy to say that my update went generally smoothly, without any noticeable problems so far.
Perhaps this could be a sticky, so that people don't continue to start new threads about this problem?

    Hello johnsold,
Thank you for replying. Enclosed is a picture where can be seen the motor address. This case is for motor 1, for motor 2 would be number 2 and 3 for motor 3. It works if I run the programs one by one. Anyway I enclose the generic example without any manipulation by myself.
    Thanks again.

  • A upper/lower sensitive problem on RFC call

    hello, everyone.
Maybe it is not the proper forum to discuss this topic, but I think the ABAP programinig Forum is the best forum in SDN, which has the most vistors.
So please help me solve this problem, if possible.
I meet a problem on RFC call through dotnet connector.
There is a RFC deploy on the R3 server.
And a portal application using dotnet connector to call the RFC from web side.
The problem is when input some string like 'AbCdEf' from web side, transfer to the sap side, the RFC always get the string like 'ABCDEF'.
I think it dues to the auto upper convert by the RFC call, and if in SE37, we can check the upper/lower box to solve it.
But how can I solve it in this portal case?
Can I get original string in the RFC side?
How we can get the string as the original content 'AbCdEf' in RFC side?
    any suggestion is welcome,
and I'm waitting for your answer, thanks a lot

    Hi zhenglin,
To expand on what Siggi said, fields in the structures of your RFC parameters are based on data elements which in turn are based on domains.
An attribute on the domain is "Lowercase'.  Unless this is checked, the field will always be treated as uppercase, and you will get the effect you described.
Please check the domain of the field in question, to ensure that the "lowercase" flag is checked.
    Cheers,
    Brad

  • Acrobat - Conversion from higher to lower version - Problem & Bizhubs printing problem

My team developed a form using Acrobat 7.x that will be triggered from a portal - directly routed to a printer. (that is, a user can  print the form directly to the printer just by clicking the form name - no need to open the form).
The form is getting printed in certain Laser Printers but its not printing in Bizhubs.
I suspect that the server that routes the form to printer doesnt have acrobat reader and uses Internet explorer as default application to open.  I heard that IE is not much compatible with Acrobat 7.x.
So I tried to convert the form from Acrobat 7.X to Acrobat 6.X (using the Print option -> Adobe pdf)
The form gets converted to Acrobat 6.X but the form misses some properties.
That is, the form holds the Text boxes & text areas in it (in 7.X) when i converted to 6.X all these text boxes are no more.
Could any one please help me over come these problems?
1- Why a form that is routed thru server is getting printed in Laser Printers but not in Biz hubs.  (Please note if i open the form in my machine and print directly to any printer it prints.  It fails only when invoked thru portal - inturn thru server)
2- why conversion to lower version of pdf misses its properties.
Your timely help is much appreciated.  Thank you so much in Adavance.
    Thanks,
