Hi Gantumur,
Welcome to Lenovo Community!
As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with power adapter not supported by your Lenovo Y50-70 laptop.
Try to reinstall the power management as this might resolve the issue, if still the issue persist then check for the pins as it might have been damaged.
And also check if the port is damaged. If still the issue persist, I would like to suggest you to visit the nearest service centre for further details as this might be issue with the adapter.
Hope this helps. Do post back if issue persists!
Best regards,
Ashwin.S

  • Power adapter not charging my nano

I bought a Sonnet USB Power Adapter for iPod some time ago when I owned an iPod nano 1st generation. Now I have a 3rd generation nano. I went to Sonnet's website and noticed that the 3rd generation iPods are the only ones the adapter is not compatable with. I was just wondering if anyone knew why that is--it just makes me mad that I can't use the adapter anymore.
    here's the website

You are confusing iPods here. The Sonnet page says it is not compatible with third generation iPods (released back in 1993). NOT 3rd generation nanos.
The 3rd generation iPods were the first ones compatible with Windows, so they supported USB data syncing, but they still had to be charged off a Firewire connections since Apple had not yet implemented USB charging/power pins on the dock connector yet.

  • 2nd Gen Shuffles charge with power adapter, not seen at all by computer

I have three Gen 2 Shuffles (mine and kids), and am having same problem with all three.
If I plug them into either of our home computers - an iMac and a brand  new Macbook Pro - they don't even seem to be recognized at all by the computer as even being plugged in, nor will they charge. The orange light flashes on for a split second when I plug in the USB cord, then goes out.  Nothing else happens.  I have two USB cords - same with both.
If I plug the same USB cords into the power adapter and plug into the wall outlet - all three iPods charge, with either cord.  So the cords seem to be working fine.
If I plug the USB cord into my work PC - a Dell that doesnt' even have iTunes on it -- the computer recognizes the iPod as a disk.  I've done this many times for many years to charge it at work if it was low, with no problems.  And I haven't plugged the kids' into my work computer.
I am pulling my hair out here. I've read about others with a similar problem -- but in those cases at least the iPod seemed to be communicating with the mac, but not showing up in iTunes.  In my case, I can't even get anything to happen!!
    Would really appreciate any advice.

  • Power Adapter Not Working...

    Please Help!
When i plug my power adapter in nothing happens. The tip does not light up orange or green, the computer acts like its not even there, it does not charge anything. I have tried different outlets and power strips and still nothing. I have tried using the long cord instead of the short nub I have also tried resetting the PMU which did not help. I also tried leaving it unplugged for 60 secs and still nothing...
Is anything else i can do to get it working? I really dont want to spend the 80 bucks on another one...
    Thanks

Since it's clearly not the outlet there are still two remaining points of failure, the ibook and the adapter. If you can, try a friend's adapter on your ibook and try your adapter on their ibook.
If your adapter doesn't charge any other ibooks/PBs out there it is likely dead and will need to be replaced. You can either get a new one from apple or find a third party one like this one.

  • Why is the power nap not supported by my 2012 macbook pro 13" ?

I tried to download the power nap update from the apple website but it keeps on saying to me that my laptop is not supported.
I just downloaded the OS X mountain lion. I read in the website that it is supported by macbook pro (retina. mid 2012) does this mean that it is only for macbook pro with retina display? if so then why is it available to macbook air?

It's only available on the 2011, 2012 MBair and the MBpro retina.

  • Power adapter - not from apple.

I recently purchased an iPod power adapter + dock from Value City I think it was. I don't use the dock, but I do use the power adapter that I plug my iPod into using the cord that came with my iPod. the box for the adapter says that it's compatible with iPod video.
is this okay to use even though it's not manufactured by apple?

Take it to your nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them look at it.

No. Adobe can't fix what Apple doesn't support any longer. You need new software.

  • AV adapter not supported?

I bought the apple av adapter today for my iPad. As soon as I plug it in, a message comes up on the iPad that says " accessory not supported by iPad". Which makes no sense at all. Help!

  • HT5012 Ipad 2 hdmi adapter not supported via Netflix

I am using an ipad 2 with updated iOS 7.0.6. Whenever I try to stream my netflix app via the 30pin hdmi adapter it will pop up with an error stating that the adapter is not supported. Please help!!

Using a generic 10ft HDMI cable for the IPad2 with the HDMI adapter from Apple is working for me (destination is .  On occasion it loses the audio.  Stopping and starting the video player usually brings the audio back.  The audio sometimes works at first and then randomly fails.  I suspected imperceptible movement between the stiff HDMI cable, the adapter, and IPad2.  Securing the wires to relieve strain relative to the IPad2 appears to have helped, but that means the device cannot be moved around freely.  (Why audio would drop instead of high bandwidth video or both signals, I have no idea.)

  • Macbook Power Adapter not being replaced

    Hi,
My macbook power adapter got burnt first from Magsafe connector end and I stapled it myself and now its burnt from the end where it connects to the adapter itself.
I appraoched the service center but they are saying that they cannot replace the adapter because it is tampered. However all I did was I tried to fix the wires from the magsafe end just to make sure it is well connected and it was a minor issue. Now this small fix is causing me this big cost.
I am worried because the way the adapter is, it got burnt from both end as the cable is so soft and weak that it gets damaged with uses and even if I invest money again there is a good chance that it will get damaged again.
Please suggest. I was in love with apple products but this adapter issue is a big setback. I even started bloggin about apple products and now it seems that I have to tell the truth to people how bad this apple adapter is in deed. Bad experience overall!

Actually, Apple is very good at replacing faulty adapters. It is fairly inexpensive for them to do and to not do so could cause them more serious problems if those faulty adapters should ignite and catch fire.
It seems the most common problem people have with the MagSafe connector is pulling on the cable to remove it. The MagSafe connector is designed to be a safety feature to prevent damage to your MacBook in case the cord is accidentally pulled (someone tripping over it, etc.). The idea being to sacrifice the adapter vs. the MacBook. When removing the MagSafe connector, you should be removing it at the connector itself, not by tugging the cable. The connector is very easy to remove if you simply tilt it either side to side or up/down.
The biggest problem here is your attempted repair. To use a staple to fix a problem such as a loose power connector that, as you say, was burnt is a questionable repair. You really shouldn't play around with items related to power supply. A staple used to hold the cable to the MagSafe connector would have to be VERY close to the connector itself and also like very close to the broken and possibly shorting wires. It is possible that the repair may have caused more damage. A staple in that area and one stapled tight enough to actually hold everything in place could easily short the connectors in the MagSafe.
You really should have brought this to Apple's attention when you had the initial problem. "None of this would have ever happened had Woody gone directly to the police".

  • Macbook pro 15' power adapter not working

When I was using macbook pro 15' early 2008 this morning, the power adapter suddenly did not work. The led light on the power adapter blanked and the status bar showed that I was using the battery. I am sure about the power adapter is fine cause I try it on another macbook pro and it works well. I have tried to take off the battery and the power adapter for 30 secs and then press the power button. But it does nothing good. I have tried to press the option + command + "R" + "P" and power button to reset PRAM. But the problem is still there. Now I have run out my battery what should I do ?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
It sounds like the power board inside the MacBook Pro has failed, best get it to an authorised repair centre.

  • Power PC not supported

I am sure this comes up often, so I apolgize for doing it again but here goes. Just got a new iMac, trying to install Logic Pro 8, and I get PowerPC not supported.
Is it impossible to install this older software into my new iMac?
I used Logic Pro 8 on my older MacBook Pro, And I would like to use it on my new desktop iMac. I believe it can be liscenced on 2 computers. If it is possible, please help.  If not, sigh...ugh, any suggestions, other than buying the newer Logic Pro 9. Thanks.

Lion does NOT have Rosetta. Hence Lion is no longer capable of executing PowerPC code which is what the error message is attempting to tell you. You are going to have to upgrade your software to a newer version that is written using Intel code. So there is no other suggestion other then buying Logic 9.

  • Setting up Lacie external storage setup assistant not available.  "Power pc not supported"

Trying to set up a Lacie Quadra d2 external drive.  The Lacie setup assistant will not operate.  The macbook error reads "PowerPC no longer supported".  How can I set up this storage device?

PPC applications are not supported by OSX's from 10.7 and up.  I suspect that you will have to reformat the HDD but the best option is to contact Lacie technical support and get a definitive answer from them.
    Ciao.

  • IPad 3 charging adapter not supported.

I'm trying to charge my iPad 3 (wifi only) using the A/C charging adapter that came with the iPad, but I get the message "This accessory may not be supported." Why am I getting this message? The battery icon at the top of the screen says "Not charging.", or shows the battery level in white, as opposed to green when charging. The iPad still charges under these conditions, but very slowly.

There were some iPhone fires caused by off-brand cables and Apple was blamed.  IOS-8 ensures that only approved cables will be used.  However, it appears that it has been incorrectly identifying true Apple cables as non-approved!
If your cable is not Apple, your only option is to replace it with an Apple cable.  If you do have an Apple cable, you need to contact Apple support - 800-275-2273 in the U.S.A. and I think Canada.  If an Apple Store is convenient for you, a visit there is probably a better solution (there is no charge)
