Yahoo account will not verify

i keep entering my password to setup my account and it say yahoo server down and will not verify. it is the correct password and i have set up the account a few times

I am having the exact same problem, my verizon email on my iphone has worked for months without any problems and all of a sudden since this morning it has problems SENDING mail. I don't know if this is a verizon related issue or not but I checked the system status on their site and they dont seem to be having any problems. I have no trouble RECEIVING mail, the problem is with SENDING mail and i have not changed any email settings whatsoever on my phone in fact i havent even been into the email settings option in months so I don't know what is going on but I will be tracking this thread, if anyone who has verizon has any ideas or suggestionsor solutions please do tell, I will be updating this thread accordingly once I find anything new to report.

Then restore to factory settings ipad will then be

My iCloud account will not verify

I am currently having troubles setting up iCloud between my devices.
I have tried to verify iCloud on both my iPhone 4 and my iPad 2, both screens sit at "This account is not verified" and then states I need to check my email.
Upon doing so, no email has been sent.
I have tried temporarily deleting the iCloud account and starting over but nothing has worked.
What should I do from here?

The verification email should be sent to the primary email account you used when you set up your iCloud ID, not to your iCloud email account. Check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

ITunes account will NOT verify

I clicked the link on my email account, and it redirects me after a notice about connect to itunes, it redirects me to iTunes download page.
I already have iTunes 8 installed on my computer. Whenever I click the link, it doesn't work. I tried signing in, but it says , my account isn't verified.

i had the same problem but the answer just occurred to me a few minutes ago and it actually worked!!! i went into my verification email and copied and pasted the link into a seperate tab [make sure itunes is not open]...when itunes opened up a box popped up saying that itunes wanted to close out of the tab...press no when you see this...next on your itunes screen you should see the login box thing...this time when you login it should say that you're account is verified...it worked for me...good luck.........

I have the exact same problem, I even tried changing the password on my e-mail client. Still no luck. Sometimes it downloads the e-mails perfectly, and others, it keeps asking me for the password.

Have you contacted your email provider to make sure there are no problems on their end? If they say their email servers are working properly, check the outgoing and incoming mail servers entries on your iPhone to make sure both are entered correctly. Enter the outgoing mail server even if the account setup indicates that is optional.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

What version of iTunes do you have? You must have iTunes 10.7 or later. iTunes 11 is the latest.
If you are using iTunes 11 use the View menu to View Sidebar and then connect your phone. Does it now show up in the left sidebar?

Did you try deleting the mail account, then adding it back? I've read a lot of times that is what needs to happen in order for it to work properly.

An Apple ID is a valid email address, apparently. How can those be "attached to your email"... what email?

This doesn't make sense. You can register multiple, even non-Apple-ID, email addresses and their aliases with FaceTime.
So, maybe you can explain your problem better - what you want and the steps you've taken and what you have so far. If something doesn't work, please tell the exact error message, too.

If you are here in the UK then you can only use the UK store - you need to be in a country to use its store. You will either need to put a UK billing address on your account, or create a new account with that address.

When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email will be sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address will be verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
2. Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
3. Verify your changes by following the link in the email you will receive from Apple and signing back in to your account.
