Yahoo chat room users not visible in os 10.8

i just upgraded to 10.8 on a mac and now when I go into a chat room I cannot see who else is in the room. I used to be able to just "pull" from the left side of the rooms box and the names would appear, now i am unable to use the option , any one plz help me , how can i see the persons in the chat room .

I can not get sound in the yahoo chat room

for some strange reason I cannot get sound in the chat rooms when people are playing music

when you start your application you create an instance of Frame2 whose reference is stored in variable frame2.
Now in your class Grow you create another instance of Frame2 whose reference is stored in variable f and set its label to "Class test". This instance is not the same as the instance which you are running.
You need to make class grow as an inner class of Frame2 and then set then set the label of the instance which is running.

After updating my ipad2 to ios6 my favorite chat room is not working. They can see me but I can't see them.

Before I updated everything worked fine. This is thru safari on the full version of a website. Now after I enter my chat room and everyone can see me and what I type but I can't see them. I was on the phone with apple. 1st call, they had me empty cookies and cache, that didn't work. I did a hard reset? held the off button and the round button. that didn't work, but I was able to see one persons "hi" post. 2nd call they had me do a reset, thru the general in settings(I was also transferred to a supervisor which makes me think that I am the only one with this problem). I was able to see 5 people say hi, but still unable to see them after the intial.
I use to see the little pinwheel at the top left hand side next to ipad and the signal strength pinwheel all the time but now I don't see it doing that. While in the chat.
Any ideas. The supervisor sorta suggested tap-a-talk. But I didn't want to spend the money if I dont have to and Im not sure it would fix this..
I did notify the website the chat room is thru so they know also, but no answers yet.

Have you set the Quicktime settings, goto sys prefs/quicktime/streaming/streaming speed set what you get from your ISP go no higher then 1.5mbps(dont use automatic)
In ichats prefs click on video and change bandwidth limit to NONE.
Restart iChat.

Ical user not visible as attendee

maybe somebody can help me here:
we have set up leopard server to manage our calendars - 8 users. at the beginning i had the problem, that we use email accounts hosted by our provider ([email protected]) whereas our server (servername.domain.com) hosts the user and ical accounts. if you add a user, the server adds an account named [email protected]. i managed to get the first seven users to be recognised as users having their main email address as being [email protected] and ical would be fine.
except for one person. let us call her susan. susan can't add her account via ical with her user name, password and entering the server's full qualified domain name (servername.domain.com). she has to use the full serverside-url (http://servername.domain.com:8008/principals/_uids_/5C73D3F0-E478-47F6-8AA.....) to be able to see her calendar.
the odd thing then is, that
1. she can't add any of us as attendees
2. if we try to add her to an event she does not appear to be a member on the server
3. but i managed to add as delegate to view my calendar!

Make sure "susan's" computer is bound to the same OD directory as everyone else.
Make sure "susan's" account in OD is properly enabled for calendaring on the server.
Restart the calendar server.

Rooms are not visible in RoomQuickLaunch in some users

Hi,
I've received a message from one of the users in which he has
observed that his Room Quick Launch iView is empty, although he is a
member of over 30 rooms.
I've tested it on my user, and I can see the rooms which I belong to.
Any ideas what could be the cause?

Users not visible in "Edit permissions..." in workspace

Hi there,
I have created several users using user management console (we are using native directory). Users can log into workspace and working in it.
But I have problems with defining permissions for folders/reports in workspace. In "Edit permissions..." dialog I can see only "admin" user and "WORLD" group.
Can anybody help me please?

2. For the folder, containing the reports, have these users being provisioned? Are you able to view the users with provisioning access to the folder?
3. Do not put any filter for users and begins with combination to display all possilble users

Created mailbox for new user in Exchange 2010, user not visible in AD.

Hi everyone!
This morning I created a mailbox for a new user on my Exchange 2010 box.
Everything works fantastically but I am unable to view the new user in AD except by searching. If I run a search the results say the user exists in my Users container, and I can view the properties of the user account from the search results, but I
am unable to actually see the user profile object in the Users container.
I notice in EMC that the mailbox has a user icon on the mailbox icon instead of the regular standard icon - I'm not sure what this implies.
Can anyone offer some advice as to why this happens and how to resolve it?

AD objects store in the Domain partition Database.
Its replication Scope is :Domain Wide
Its replication model is: Multi Master
There are two possible cause.
1. AD replication latency if you have several DCs.
You could wait for AD replication or force replication, Click
refresh on ADUC.
2. You create the new user
in other OU, not Users.
You could run this command to get
the user’s DistingushedName attribution.
Get-mailbox –identity

Wireless users not visible in PRSM with CDA integration

I have ASA 5515x v 9.1 with CX module v 9.1.3 and CDA integrated into the AD domain. I can see the users to IP mappings for domain windows users , like desktops and laptops. I can not see the users to ip mappings for the wireless users. I see their IP adddresses but the usernames don't come in. I have the PRSM configured to use CDA. Do I need to also add the WLC somehow to the CDA setup?

Skype for Business users not visible under "Online...

Hello,
It seems as if Skype for Business contacts do not appear in the "Online" contact list (see screenshot below), whether they are Online, Away, or Busy. If I switch to "All" contact list, the Skype for Business contacts immediatelly show up.
A workaround is to leave the "All" contact list, and hide offline contacts through Contacts -> Hide Contacts Who -> Are Offline.
While this workaround is good, I think it is much easier to use the contact list dropdown, than to go through the menu to view all contacts.
Has anybody experienced this same issue?

Accepted Appointments not visible in Room

Dear all
We have configured Groupware in our Portal. And created Meeting rooms with Calendar
But for some Room members the Meeting's related to their room is not visible, even though they accept the Meeting Request.
For some users the everything is coming perfectly
What can be the reason for this strange behavior?
Please provide your suggestions
Is this having any relation to the user profile?

even i am facing the same problem , i checked with yahoo website and they removed the CAPTCHA security for mac OS and it is no more the option available for seeing the persons in the chat room , how ever u can send messages to the persons who is chat in the common window .

Running under Firefox 18, attachments to received e-mails on Yahoo mail are not visible, as they used to be (and are under Internet Explorer). On downloading the e-mails (to Thunderbird) the attachments are there as expected.

add an exception for yahoo mail: click on the ghostery icon while you're in yahoo's webmail, choose "edit blocking options" & then don't block on this domain...

Logged into chat, but user doesn't see the room or participants

I am trying to help a user with iChat. He is in France and I am in US. He has a mac.com address.
The problem is he can sign into a chat room and I can see him in that room, but he can not see the chat room window nor the participants. He will get IMs from people that are apparently in the room, but he has no idea where they are coming from.
I can find how to hide the participant side window but unable to find any way to show/hide the chat window. iChat has not been hidden as his buddy window does show up.
There are differences in terminology on the menu bar and drop downs between French and English so even with screen sharing, it is not easy. Menu items are under different headers.
I have seen this before with some users, but usually a quit and reloading iChat will clear it up. There are a lot of cases of people thinking they exited a room, but their SN is still there until they quit iChat.
If I get information, I said I would let him know a solution.

I can recreate this.
On my G4, which used to be my prime iChat computer, I have several Rooms listed in Go to Room in the File Menu
One of these had been added to Auto Join list but not ticked.
I did this (ticked) but no window showed.
On the MacBook Pro I used another account/Screen Name to log in to the same room
After finding from Snow Leopard I had an illegal character, I corrected it on both computers.
The G4 still did not show the Room Chat window.
However the MacBook Pro showed My G4 Screen Name as being there.
I did find that if I went to iChat File Menu > Go to Room and Deselect the Auto Join and Quit iChat my G4 would not sign back into the room when that screen Name was logged in to AIM again at iChat Launch.
I hope this is the same for your Buddy.

Please, if posting Logs, do not post any Log info after the line "Binary Images for iChat"
The G4 makes the sound as to getting a new message but the window still does not appear and the G4 therefore cannot reply. Nor can I leave the Room.
