Yahoo Default location in Safari: how to change it permanently?

In Safari I have added (but don't recall how) to the toolbar an icon (with a "cloud") which takes me to the Yahoo! weather page:
http://weather.yahoo.com/france/ile-de-france/paris-615702/?unit=c
Once there I can enter another location (e.g. my hometown) and also specify this to be the "default location". But this default location apparently is not being stored, since when clicking on the cloud icon
I still get back to the original "Paris" weather.
Any idea how I could make my hometown permanent?

Are there perhaps settings in Safari that I need to change, i.e that prevent the Yahoo page from accepting the changes to the default location which I made there?
Unfortunately, the settings are controlled by Yahoo, not your browser.
Perhaps I need to address this question to the developer of the "Cloudy" extension of Safari.
I wasn't aware this was a Safari Extension. Definitely try contacting the developer. That information should be in Safari / Preferences - Extensions.
I realize that I was not precise in my question.

not sure that i understand your question, but make sure that there are no spaces in the path that you are trying to load the file from. c:\My Documents\text.txtshould bec:\MyDocuments\text.txthope that helps.

RESOURCE_CONSUMER_GROUP - How to change it permanently ?

Oracle 10.2.0.3 on windows.
I would like to change RESOURCE_CONSUMER_GROUP appeared in v$session view. I use such commands :
EXECUTE dbms_resource_manager.clear_pending_area();
EXECUTE dbms_resource_manager.create_pending_area();
EXECUTE DBMS_RESOURCE_MANAGER.SWITCH_CONSUMER_GROUP_FOR_USER (
user => 'POOL_USER',
consumer_group => 'POOLING_GROUP');
EXECUTE dbms_resource_manager.submit_pending_area();
But resource_consumer_group in v$session view becomes equal to POOLING_GROUP when i execute commands shown above after POOL_USER user is logged in. When i log out POOL_USER an log in again i have in v$session in RESOURCE_CONSUMER_GROUP column following value :
SQL> select resource_consumer_group from v$session where username='POOL_USER';
RESOURCE_CONSUMER_GROUP
OTHER_GROUPS
OTHER_GROUPS
OTHER_GROUPS
OTHER_GROUPS
OTHER_GROUPS
HOW TO CHANGE IT PERMANENTLY ?

You need to set the users initial consumer group. Use the following command:
exec dbms_resource_manager.set_initial_consumer_group(user => 'POOL_USER',c onsumer_group => 'POOLING_GROUP');

Printer Model: CE-875AOS: Mac OS 10.8.3Browser: Firefox v 20.0 When I print from Word or Excel, all is OK.However, when I print from Firefox, any website (example):http://www.gentrustwm.com/wp-content/uploads/GenTrust-Perspectives-April-2013.pdf It prints ONLY in Landscape mode. This truncates pages.I want to change the default setting to Portrait for all printing from Firefox and from Adobe PDF.I can't find a way to change the setting to PORTRAIT. After Command/P, I see PRESETS/SHOW PRESETS/DEFAULT SETTINGS... this shows Orientation=Landscape. However, can't find the way to change the default. Please advise how to do this?

I have the same problem. All of the sudden Firefox reverted to landscape default. We have 3 HP printers and it does it on all printers It's not Yahoo or Gmail, it's everything we print in Firefox Any help would be appreciated

IProcurement Deliver-To Location In Preferences- How to Change?

The deliver to location value is in iProcurement -> Preferences -> iProcurement Preferences -> Delivery
Metalink note 297757.1 (iProcurement Deliver-To Location LOV Defaults the Deliver To Org To The Item Master Org) states that the default deliver-to is set to be the master item inventory org.
If I have another inventory org set up, I can change it manually to that location code.
But I want to do it programmatically. Where is this value for the preference stored? I would like to change this.

Navigate to Locations form and then query your location.
Now go to "Other Details" tab and populate the Inventory Organization where the location actually belongs to.
This way you can restrict the location to a Inventory Org.
Don't know whether the same applies for iproc...you can give a try

Default Font in Safari Won't Change After Upgrade to Leopard

Hey - I just upgraded my iMac from Tiger to Leopard and everything went great; however, when I use Safari, my default font is something random. I tried changing it to anything different but it stays the same (in Safari>Pref's>Appearance). I even tried re-installing it. Any suggestions?

We're left with two things, both of which may be somewhat time-consuming.
The first is to use the new user account you created and migrate all your programs and settings that work over to it, and then delete the old user account, or:
Do an Archive & Install, with Preserve Users and Network Settings. This will give you a completely new installation of 10.5 and move the old one to a folder named Previous System, which you can then delete. All your users and network settings will be preserved, but you will need to use Software Update afterward to bring your system current.

Each device has it's own backup on iCloud, even if under the same account. Your contacts merged not from the backups but due to syncing his phone with your iCloud account. To keep them separate, you need to have separate accounts.

Safari - how to change auto entry status

I deleted the password for a site in the prefence area. Now the site doesn't remember current name/password and doesn't ask to remember. How do I reset?

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari
Select: Clear History (that also empties the Safari cache)
Deselect the other boxes then click Reset.
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try logging into that site again.
If that didn't help, go to Safari > Preferences > Privacy
Click: Remoe All Website Data (deletes cookies)
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try again.

How to change path in oratab for ASM ?

RAC 11g @Linux RedHat.
In /etc/oratab I have a path to grid home with trailing '/' char. I want to remove it. I stopped cluster, changed /etc/oratab, started cluster but ASM agent overwrote the /etc/oratab. How to change it permanently ? How to persuade ASM agent the correct path ?
