I use Yahoo Mail. E-mail content is blank when opened in Firefox. Everything works fine when openied under Explorer.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

My dock and top menu bar disappear when I am using Firefox

When I am using Firefox 4 my Dock and the top of screen meu bar disappear (similar to a Hide) but will reappear when I click my mouse on the desktop. It really annoying! I can't minimize the Firefox window into the Dock for later use at all! Any way that I can make this stop?

This has happened to me before and it took me a long time to work it out.
But all you need to do is froce quit safari or any application that this is happening to and start the application again.

I am not able to share a link to a web page on my face book page when I am using Firefox.

I recently have tried to share a link to a video clip from youtube and another from Yahoo on my face page. When I click on the facebook icon to try I get the page that at the bottom has a button saying share. When I click on it nothing happens. I was able to link to facebook when I used IE.

I hope it works out for you. A couple of comments.
Apple does not have a way to restrict searches on safari. It just is not there. But if you search the app store for parental control, you will find at least 1 browser that does. You can use that as your normal browser, and bury safari in a folder somewhere where the kiddies wont easily find it. Read the reviews, and see if it does what you want.
As respects purchases, remember that when you make a purchase, your password remains active for 15 min. I have been reading the posts here for over a year, and there is a continued stream of folks who download an innocent free app, hand the pad to the kids, and find the invoice the next day for $200 worth of smuf berries or some such nonsense. Keep eyes open.

Why blank message in gmail, using Firefox

When I open a gmail message, using Firefox as the browser, several times a week the message opens up completely blank. When I opened these same gmail message using Internet Explorer they appear just fine.
What could be causing this? Since it works in IE and not in FF, I'm assuming there is an issue, plug in?? Can you help guide how we can fix this?

Why can't i download e-mail attachments and images from the web using firefox browser

i am using a Mac laptop.
when i try to download my e-maill attachments, the Download tab appears. but when i click the download "key", nothing happens.
i also can't save images from the web using firefox. the Save this Image tab appears but when i try to save, nothing happens.

Why can't i log into youtube when i'm using firefox?

I used to be able to log into my youtube account using firefox. Now I cannot. When I click on youtube's signin button it says loading for a moment and then returns to the page, I never get to the signin page. Oh, and yes I have a google+ acct.

The issue may be because of your corrupted cookie file (cookies.sqlite)
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

me mouse pointer keeps on FLICKRING when i use FIREFOX 4. it doesn't flickr when i use google chrome or IE. why is it so?????

Same problem with my site. I'm mainly using Arial on my site too, but it effects other fonts too like Verdana. With long text block the placement goes all wrong, causing text to go on top of each other and text goes behind pictures.
Seems like this is caused by some particular graphics cards with some specific drivers.
My site did work ok with FF4, untill I updated my graphics card.
EDIT: Noticed that the problem only occurs when I use font sizes of 11 or bigger. Size 10 and smaller are all working ok.

Speed downstream and upstream when I am using Firefox. When I am using Internet Explorer I dont have this problems

Why does my screensaver not kick in when I am using Firefox?

I have a new pc, a pavilion using windows 7. I have set my screensaver to engage after 2 minutes and it does when I am using explorer, but it does not when I use firefox. Is there something in browser settings that I need to change? If so, how do I do that?

When I started using Firefox 4, I seem to have lost my Norton stuff.

When I updated to Firefox 4, I lost my Norton safe-site info, and my Norton auto-fill info.

Symantec need to update their Firefox add-ons so that they are compatible with Firefox 4. They have indicated that for Norton 360 they plan to release an update to Norton 360 to support Firefox 4 in early May - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US
I do not know about the time scale for updates for other Norton products. Pending the update by Symantec, if you want to use the Norton add-ons you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

Mail applications is blank when I open it, then it closes and opens again by itself, keeping blank

In my Ipad, when I open Mail application it is blank. It stays like this for a few seconds, then it closes and open again by itself. Keeping all time blank.

Have you tried to force quit the app. Double tap the home button. Scroll sideways if needed to bring the mail app preview up on the screen. Flick that preview up and off the screen to close the app. Tap on the home page preview to exit the mode. Then try your mail again.
Other things people have needed to do, especially after an update is to go into the settings, mail contacts and calendars, delete their mail account (it only deletes it off the iPad not out of existence) then exit out, go back i and re-enter the info.
