Yahoo Email Account

Hi Everyone,
Well since yesterday for some reason I am not able to retreive any of my emails through yahoo.
I have two accounts. One is about a couple months old. The second account is about 9 years old.
I reset my phone, reset the network settings, deleated the accounts, powered off and on the phone and tried installing my accounts again but yet unsuccessful.
My AOL account works fine but for some reason my yahoo accounts wont receive email.
When I access the email portion of the inbox it just states at the bottom checking email but nothing happens.
Is anyone having the same issue?
Can anyone help me with this issue?

My Yahoo mail stopped working two weeks ago. I've deleted the account and re-entered. Nothing works.
I can't even get Yahoo mail when I know new mail is waiting. The iPhone doesn't even retrieve it.
Funny though. WHen I delete the account and re-create it, I get all of the messages in my self created Save folder. Just no new email.
So I've given up on Yahoo totally. I won't even use there website any longer.
Very pathetic on Yahoo's part. I say that because Gmail works. .mac works and my personal email works. All fine.
Bag Yahoo and go Gmail.

In Safari, (the web browser), there are specific arrows to go back and forward through website pages.
In other Apps, it will depend on how the App is built.
As to Yahoo Mai it depends on where you are viewing the email. If you are using the Mail App, then you don't log out. The Mail accounts in the Mail App are always there.
If you are using the Yahoo App, You can Tap on the folder at the top, then on your account/name, and then on Sign Out.

IPhone 5 no longer receive emails, but can still send emails with yahoo email account. Any ideas to fix?

iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1.2 stopped receiving mail yesterday. Have yahoo email account. Can still send emails. Have turned device off/on. Have done the dual off/on thing using top button and menu button. Issue seems to be only with main inbox, as sub folders are receiving mail. Other Apple device is not having issues like this, just on iPhone.

Your issue is with the Yahoo email account which is notoriously bad.
you can try deleting and reinstalling the email account.
If that doesn't fix it try the yahoo email app.

I'm unable to access my yahoo email account using updated firefox browser, i keep getting error page when I use the mail link on yahoo pages

Since updating Firefox browser, i am unable to gain access to my yahoo email account. I can access the email with Interent Explorer with no trouble. Whenever I click on a mail link on the yahoo sites to check my mail, I get rerouted to an error page ..... "Sorry, we can't find "ca.mg4.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch?.gx=1". Please check the spelling of the web address." is what is said at top of page whenever I click on any mail links.

This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.

Open Mail preferences and delete the account. This only removes it from the Mail app and doesn't close out the service.

Should my "Contacts" be "On" or "Off" for my Yahoo email account?

I lost all of my Contacts in my COMPUTER for my Yahoo email account; I then looked through my iPhone to see what my email settings showed and it showed my Contacts were turned "Off". You only turn that off if you have very sensitive operations and data that cannot be corrupted by power loss or serious loss incurs. Mainly server operations and database files.

hello, this is a scam tactic that is trying to trick you into installing malware, so don't download or execute this kind of stuff! as you've rightly mentioned, you're already using the latest version of firefox installed and you can always initiate a check for ''updates in firefox > help > about firefox''.

I am using Firefox 14.0.1 and I have problems with my yahoo email account. I send an email, the receiver got a good version of my email, but when I see the same email into my sent box I see a differente text. When I use any other Internet browser, I can see a good version of my original email into the sent box.

Tap the account id 'button' at the top left of your list of emails to go to list of the folders in that account, and then tap the Mailboxes button top left of that to go to the list of email accounts that you've set up - then just tap the account name that you want to switch into and then Inbox (or just the account id under the Inboxes section on that screen to go straight to the Inbox)

When it doesn't accept the password from Mail , it can be things other than the password actually.
It could be their Server, which is contacted differently than through WebMail, it just means the Server listening on this port, (or not listening), is not finding your username & password.

Depuis la mise à jour de ios8 sur mon iphone 4s que j'ai du restaurer car la mise à jour ne fonctionnait pas (j'ai tout perdu!!) je n'arrive plus à relever le courrier de mon compte yahoo dans mail. J'ai changé le mot de passe mais rien. Donc j'ai ré ajouté le même compte après l'avoir supprimer mais un message apparait : "serveur indisponible".
