Yahoo email won't respond

My yahoo email on Blackberry is CONSTANTLY not responding - I haave changed my password MULTIPLE times and I am totally fed up with this. Help.

Is the problem only on the BlackBerry, or on the PC as well?

My Yahoo email won't update anymore on my iPhone 6

I have an iPhone 6 using IOS 8.3 and about a week ago it stopped updating my yahoo email account. It worked just fine for many years. I didn't update anything before it happened. I have deleted it off my phone and added it back on several times and still nothing. I've changed my yahoo password and nothing. It just says "Updated on 4/3/15" and that it "Cannot Get Mail, The connection to the server failed". I have no problem accessing the same yahoo account from my iPad, my Mac, my work PC.

It may help to force close all open apps and reset your iPhone.

If you're still unable to retrieve your recent email, the next step would be to reinstall iOS on your device by placing it in Recovery Mode, then choosing Update in iTunes.
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

My yahoo email won't update therefore I can't receive or send any emails

My yahoo email account won't update I have tried turning my phone off but no luck, also says cannot get mail the connection to the server failed, also when I am trying to add this email account to my iPad it also says this email account may not be able to send or receive emails.
Can anyone help with this issue please.

You need to verify your settings with Yahoo. The error that you identify for the phone is for the incoming server, which shows you are not connecting to the server, for whatever reason.
The iPad error just seems like the account is just not verifying with Yahoo at all. I would check with Yahoo and see if there is a problem with your account.

New version of Yahoo email won't stay installed in Firefox 17, works fine in Windows Explorer

I keep switching to the newest version of Yahoo email in Firefox 17, but every time I log out of Firefox and back in again, it reverts to Yahoo Classic email. I don't have this problem in Windows Explorer.
I've asked the Yahoo Help community about this and have not gotten an answer that resolves it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that aren't send or otherwise blocked.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Yahoo email won't display

I got my Rhyme on Black Friday and I've been enjoying it tremendously ever since but recently I've noticed that I cannot view neither one of my yahoo accounts. I will receive the notification of a new email, go to my inbox to check it, it doesn't show the body of the email. It only displays who the email is from and the title of the email.
What should I do? I've tried deleting the account and adding it back in several times and nothing works I really need my email so that I can communicate with my customers when I'm away from home.

You have quite a strange issue with your Yahoo account, but I believe I can help. I would remove your Yahoo account from the phone and download an email application from the Market and then add your Yahoo email accounts in. I believe Yahoo has their own email application in the Market, but since you have more than 1 account in Yahoo, I recommend finding a general email retrieval app. Test it within a different email application. If you still have problems there, you may need to contact Yahoo for assistance since multiple software programs are having the same issue (this most likely means the problem lies on the server end).
Give that a try and let us know how it works for you.

About a week ago my firefox won't open my email everytime I click on the link. A link comes up to open quick view, but that isn't what I want and I'm not sure it works either. I have tested with internet explorer and it opens fine.

Myspace & Yahoo email won't stay logged out!

I usually use Safari. I haven't tested it with FireFox or on the Windows XP partition. Whoever is the last user logged in to both Myspace or Yahoo! email will constantly login itself. I do not run anti-virus and I do not use the save passwords option. If I'm logged into either and logout, when I check later I'm logged back in. If my girlfriend logs into either then the same happens to her. It only seems to be affecting those two. She uses Facebook daily and it never does this. Any help is appreciated!

Test with Safari extensions Off via Safari - Preferences - Extensions
Failing that, try in a new or Guest user account, if it works there you'll know the problem lies within your usual account or settings.
To be clear, given the response concerning Mail application... you are talking about Safari & the yahoo mail website - right ?

Just upgraded to iOS 6. Now my yahoo email won't work. Help!?

This morning my iPad cheerfully told me the new iOS upgrade was available. So I said yes. Now I can't get email. What the heck?! ANY IDEAS HOW TO FIX?!!

Have you tried resetting the network settings? Sometimes starting from scratch solves the issue and it is the simplest way I can think of that may solve your problem.
1. Go to Settings > General > Reset
2. Then select Reset Network Settings
3. Enter your password when it requests it
After the phone finishes the reset try adding your Wi-Fi again and see if that works. If not, I would back-up your phone to your computer, then reset the whole phone by following the same instructions above, but choosing Reset All Content and Settings at step two. Make sure you backup your phone first though! Otherwise you will lose all the stuff on your phone when you make this selection.

Firefox not inserting proper hyperlinks in Yahoo email. What to do?

I use Firefox and my yahoo email won't create a hyperlinks that appear to me as the user nor does it create hyperlinks that the recipient can see or use with a click. What can I do? Why is this a problem?

Each webmail has their own way of inserting hyperlinks: To make a URL into a link in Yahoo mail, you can use the insert link button.

If you are talking about Yahoo mail within the built in iOS mail app, you cannot email to groups using the mail app. There are third party apps that will allow you to email to groups, but the iOS mail app won't do it.
There are some workarounds where you can create a group in the notes app, copy it into your contacts app and use that, but the feature just does not exist in the mail app itself.

I think you have to turn off Private Browsing.
Tap "Private" on Safari Screen to disable Private Browsing. When top of screen is white, Private Browsing is off.

Macbook Pro acting like my good ol'PC (which cost a lot less).   Won't load Yahoo emails....this since I got Lion. I don't have time for this $%^

Mac book pro acting like my good ol'PC which cost a lot less.   Won't load yahoo emails, get the beachball, slow, etc etc.   Not what I paid for....and Apple care on the phone is even less help they $^&% around for some time without a solution, then tell you they will send you to a "senior tech".....huh?   Like my money back for this so called service. I end up taking my time to go to the genius bar where they have helped.   But this is getting tedious.

Iphone 5 won't load yahoo email

My iphone 5 won't load my yahoo emails. When I go to my inbox it only shows the load more messages option. When I click "load more messages" nothing happens. I've tried restarting the app, phone, deleting the email account and changing the password.

Try it and see if it works. If it doesn't then the problem is on Yahoo's end.

I can still access my Comcast email from the comcast.net website by signing in and going through the standard steps. The site has actually been optimized for mobile devices, so the email part of the website looks different now, but I can confirm that it does in fact work fine.
What is happening when you access the site. Can you sign in? If you can sign in, what happens when you tap on email on the left side?
I Agree with Bamatuscaloosa about the Xfinity Connect app. It was just upgraded and it is so much better to use than the webmail on the Comcast site. You should download it and give it a try.
