Yahoo emails- "invalid email account name/ password" ????

The second time this issue has aroused. The email feature on my iPhone has rejected my Yahoo account user name and/or password. It continuously says i have an invalid name or password. I have tried to restart my phone, delete and reopen my account, and turn it off and back on. My ALO account works great, but only the yahoo is having problems. Has Apple lost a partnership with yahoo? My other emails are working (not yahoo accounts), but my yahoo account is my primary account that i use, and people contact me through. Please shed some light on this issue.

The iPhone's Mail client isn't rejecting your Yahoo account user name and/or password. The Yahoo incoming mail server is rejecting your Yahoo account user name and/or password.
This is a Yahoo problem only. Your AOL account works great, and your other accounts are also working except for your Yahoo account. This alone is an indication the problem lies with Yahoo.
Have you contacted Yahoo technical support?

When it doesn't accept the password from Mail , it can be things other than the password actually.
It could be their Server, which is contacted differently than through WebMail, it just means the Server listening on this port, (or not listening), is not finding your username & password.

Any contacts synced with the Yahoo account will be deleted from the phone if you turn it off. They will still be out there in Yahoo land, so if you turn it off and it deletes something you didn't want to, just turn it back on again.

Need to fix things on firefox's end so I can get into my yahoo email account

I haven't been able to log in my uk yahoo email account using firefox but can with google chrome. Just downloaded the newest version of firefox, but still I keep getting a message that my user name or password is incorrect.I already know that this is not the case.

For those of you experiencing this problem, have you updated to the latest version of Firefox? I was having this problem but it seems to have been corrected after downloading Firefox 4.

I can't set up one particular Yahoo email account but other Yahoo email accounts work fine.

When I try to add one of my Yahoo email accounts to my iPhone it says "Server Unavailable Please try again later". But I am able to log in to this Yahoo email account successfully from my iMac via Safari and I am also able to add other Yahoo email accounts to the iPhone. In Safari, (the web browser), there are specific arrows to go back and forward through website pages.
In other Apps, it will depend on how the App is built.
As to Yahoo Mai it depends on where you are viewing the email. If you are using the Mail App, then you don't log out. The Mail accounts in the Mail App are always there.
If you are using the Yahoo App, You can Tap on the folder at the top, then on your account/name, and then on Sign Out.

Since updating Firefox browser, i am unable to gain access to my yahoo email account. I can access the email with Interent Explorer with no trouble. Whenever I click on a mail link on the yahoo sites to check my mail, I get rerouted to an error page ..... "Sorry, we can't find "ca.mg4.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch?.gx=1". Please check the spelling of the web address." is what is said at top of page whenever I click on any mail links.

This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.

No. Everything was working fine and then it wasn't. I hadn't changed any settings or switched either one off. When the phone stopped working properly I ignored it because I always have my ipad with me but that just sopped working properly and now I am stuffed. I just got my new Droid Razr yesterday, and I have tried numerous times to set up my existing Yahoo email account but I keep getting an error message that states "System is unavailable to support the request". My email address and password are correct, I am able to log in just fine on my computer, so I can't figure out what the problem is or how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated!

If that does not work, I would use the app available in the Play Store as stated above.
