Yahoo finance Dow, S&P, Nasdaq do not show accurate prices on their indeces. This has always been correct for the last 15 yrs

How can I set an event to repeat on a week day rather than a numerical day of each month? I see an option at the bottom of the repeat window .... but I cannot use it. Actually, when I try it freezes up my Calendar.

On an iPad with iTunes, do you know if you can edit/delete all your tunes on your device with a "clear all" button rather than having to delete a song one by one like you have to do on an iPhone if not synching via a MacBook/ PC with iTunes account?

I'm signed up to the Cloud and itunes match - the whole game. But I cam getting annoyed with having to delete songs one by one on my iPhone once dowloaded from the cloud as I only have a 16GB phone....yes I listen to music non-stop! So, I am thinking about getting an iPAD as I rarely use my MacBook Pro for anything other than surfing and music now... so the question is: "On an iPad with iTunes, do you know if you can edit/delete all your tunes on your device with a "clear all" button rather than having to delete a song one by one like you have to do on an iPhone (if not synching via a MacBook/ PC with iTunes account where I know you can clear down and refill with ease)????

Display returns latest data value rather than maximum data value.

I have requested the Maximum value using the Statistics VI. The display returns the latest value rather than the maximum. I think it may have to do with specifying the sample size or data packet size but I don't know how to do that.

You probably are only taking a single reading with the DAQ Assistant and the Statistics function expects an array to determine the max value in that array. There are a couple ways to do what you want. One way is to use the Array Min & Max Single Point function (Signal Processing>Point by Point>Other Functions). This has a sample length input and a reset input. Another way is to create an array with a shift register and use the Statistics function or just the Array Min & Max function. You could limit the size of the array with Array Subset for example.

Calendar display issues for "All Day Events" coming from Exchange Server

My problem is with the display of All Day events. I'm running a 3gs, Outlook 2007 on winxp, connected to a Exchange 2007 server. When an all day event is put in for multiple days the phone calendar displays it as starting at midnight going to midnight, and sometimes wont display the event on the list view on the phone. I can correct the display by editing it on the phone and making it all day there, but then the category I assigned the event in outlook goes away in outlook. All day single day events work just fine. Any suggestions?

All day events scheduled from Entourage display incorrectly on iPhone/iPad as non-all-day events (which block out entire day/multiple days)

Recently I reset my submenues to use the Show All option rather than displaying the entire contents of the menu. How do I get that setting back.

Recently, I altered how my sub menes are displayed. I opted to have the sub menues display a "Show All" option to access the entire sub menu. This was a mistake and I can not determine how to return my sub menues to the complete list of available choices. How do I do this?

Which sub menus do you mean?
Are that sub menus from the Firefox menu bar or orange Firefox menu button or the context menu on a web page or otherwise?

Possible to display domain value range descriptions rather than values?

Hi All,
We're using ECC6.
I have a context input field on my view, which is bound to a data type that is bound to a domain. The values are brought back from the domain automatically but when the user selects a row, the fixed value is displayed rather than the description, i.e. the code for the value is displayed rather than the short description.
This is not acceptable. Before I go off and code something for this instead is there a parameter I can set to tell it to display the description rather than the code.

You can read the domain name i guess, then you can use the Function Module DD_DOMVALUES_GET, make the call as

you should get the short description in the field ddtext of result t_dd07v.
Now instead of creating a domain you can provide these values to the valid values for your context dynamically.

How To Display Image Dimension in Pixels Rather Than Inches

I am using Photoshop CS3, which I'm still learning to use. I want to see an open image's dimension (W X H) in pixels in the image's window/workspace.
Right now, when I open a file it displays the file's Document Sizes in the lower part of the workspace (sorry, don't know the proper terminology). Selecting the arrow next to this currently displayed information, I can then select Show>Document Dimensions. However, it always gives the image's width and height dimensions in inches. But, I want is to see these dimensions in pixels.
How do I get the document's dimensions to be displayed in pixels rather than inches? Thanks in advance.

Oops! Sorry about putting this in the wrong forum. I'm using PS to edit images that I'm using within DW. Hence, my (temporary) confusion.

How do I see the charts for all countries rather than just my own country simultaneously in iTunes? The album chart...

I produced a song on Lecrae's new album, Gravity, "Higher" f/Tenth Ave North, which is #1 in the US today upon its release. But I've heard that it also topped charts in other countries as well, and do not know how to adjust the Top Album Charts view to show me the top 10 albums in each country rather than just in the US. I've done it before, but over a year ago when Rehab: The Overdose dropped, but can't recall how I did it. Please help! Thanks and God bless...

However, I now have the issue that I scroll the whole screen down to show the shows at the bottom. When I highlight the last show, the 10 shows are not visibile as they are at the top of the screen. I have to scroll the whole screen back up to the top to see episodes.
This is not the most elegant solution but at least with lots of double scrolling, it is possible.

I am using the workflow WS01000045 when implementing the ESS scenario - Employment and Salary Verification.
The user has the option of printing or faxing these details.
When the user clicks PRINT the step 81(Print Employment and Salary Verification,Task TS01000076) creates a workitem in the user's SAP inbox.The user can print the details by executing the workitem from the SAP inbox.My requirement is to actually execute the workitem online and show the print preview screen to the user instead of going to SAPinbox(logical because all the employees in a company can't have dialog access to SAP system).

on the upper right hand corner, you will see "Forum Settings", click that lin and it will give you the option to show your name instead of that number.

Why are MediaPlayer callbacks all Runnables rather than EventHandlers?

Every other API in JavaFX with event processing callbacks implements EventTarget and allows EventHandlers to be registered to handle events.
However the MediaPlayer does not implement EventTarget and callbacks for things which look like they should be events (e.g. onPlaying, onStopped, onPaused) are handled by registering a Runnable.
Why is MediaPlayer different? Are there any extra considerations which need to be taken into account when programming the MediaPlayer?

I don't know, I think this is an error. I know that there was one part of the media APIs that was called very frequently (the stuff related to histograms) that we didn't use events, but this most certainly should have been events. Dang. If I could find it in email history there must be something on it, but looking at it here I was both surprised and shocked that this one slipped through (since I don't know under what circumstance it would have made sense to use a Runnable here). In fact at first I thought maybe you were looking at some old code (before I knew it was you who posted).
OK, suppose we all agree this was an error and we need to fix this. What to do? We can deprecate all these methods, but the new methods we'd want to supply would then have the wrong names. We could introduce a proper Event subclass for this and also a special EventHandler which also implements Runnable, just so it can be reused here. We'd then deprecate the methods and just change the hierarchy when we JSR the thing?
I'm not sure how to recover, any other ideas?

Is it possible to set up repeating calendar events by day rather than date?

I attend several classic motorcycle shows and car shows locally. Some occur every first Wednesday of the month, some occur on the last Saturday of every month, and some are on the third Thursday of every month. Entering them every month is slow and I would like to see if there's a way of programming repeating events like this by the day of the week. Right now, if I select to repeat, let's say, a bike show that is coming up on Wednesday the 6th, I can't set it to occur every first Wednesday of the month, only on the 6th of every month, but of course, the first Wednesday of every month is not always the 6th of the month. I am hoping the fuzzy logic programming to do this is already here. (fingers crossed)

Found a workaround...in the desktop calendar app you can do this, it just means waiting until you get home to make the event repeat on certain days of a certain week of the month. So for now, I can enter events in the phone as I find out about them when I am out of the house, and when I get home and sync the phone i can then make the event repeat as I want. It's a bit of a pain, but at least it will work.
UNLESS the event occurs on the FIFTH such day in a month. Calendar only supports custom events for FOUR weeks.

Still wondering why Adobe delayed introduction a few days rather than a few months...

So, as other users asked, can I download the "trial" versions of CS6 apps and install them the normal (sic, since all Adobe methods are strangely problematic) way then license through my cloud subscription?

Licensing the product would work when the subscription email is entered in the trail mode. But if would be better if you download Application Manger, login in with the Adobe ID and then download the applications.

I'm trying to schedule a regular event on the third Tuesday of every month, and can't seem to find a way to do that.

Unfortuneately, there's no way to do that directly on iOS Calendar, which has fairly limited functionality. It can be done on computer calendar apps such as iCal or Outlook and synced to your Calendar on the phone.
