Yahoo is taking over and nothing is fixing it. oh and every time i start Firefox is acts like its starting up for the first time every time.
when i open Firefox its says something about checking add-ons or something for like 1sec then opens up with the main Firefox home page and the Firefox Google page.
that and the main issue is the whole yahoo thing, i HATE yahoo and its taking over my Firefox. now i have tried going into about:config and changing the keyword.URL back to Google but i get nothing and even if i find something that works as soon as i close it and reopen it its all reset.

If you have another Yahoo application installed, there may be a legitimate helper app that runs in the background and detects changes to Yahoo settings and reverts it. You can check for any such program in the Start menu and also in the OS Control Panel Programs and Features (Add/Remove Programs). Please also check '''Tools''' ('''Alt''' + '''T''') > '''Add-ons''', click '''Extensions''' on the left, for any Yahoo add-ons and try disabling it or change it's settings.

You may want to do a Restore on the shuffle in iTunes. The Restore button is on the shuffle's Summary screen in iTunes. This will erase the shuffle, re-install its software, and set it to default settings. If it's a software or data corruption glitch, the Restore should fix it. After the Restore, reload or resync your songs, and try it again. As a test, you may want to initially select a small number of songs to put back on the shuffle.

Hi can anyone please help. My I Phone is in recovery mode. I have loads of pics and vids including my little girl counting to ten for the first time.
Can I recover these files or have I lost them? I lost the phone last week and it was returned working but with an update to install I did this and it shut down.
If anyone can please help I would be eternally in your debt I have loads of sentimental pctures in here but cant get to them.Sorry, but if it's in recovery mode, anything on the phone is already gone. If you had PhotoStream turned on, hopefully the photos will still be out there.

I just downloaded the latest upgrade for my 3rd gen IPod and now most of the Apps close as soon as they open. Only the first page of Apps and the bottom line will operate. Does anyone know of a solution. I checked with common problems and I don't have other Apps open.
If the ipod was completely drained of power, you have to leave the ipod connected to a power source (Like your PC) for up to an hour before it will have enough power to power up and be seen by windows and iTunes.

I can reach any of the sites thus afflicted by using a proxy server, confirming that the sites are NOT the problem. Therefore no reason to provide a website below... it occurs on numerous websites (which can all be reached with proxy server) while the majority of sites I go to are no problem.
Alright, so last night, I couldn't sleep. Sunrises can be a little slow.
Received a phone call this morning, did the song and dance, and she said I would get a new card within 3-5 days. When I hung up, because I was so rattled about this, I didn't bother to recheck the phone number to make sure it was legit! She had my personal info, but she asked me my email as well (not username or password, but...)!
I have 2-step verification on my email account, so I'm not concerned that (if the call was not legit) that they would go much further. Changed all of my passwords last night as well. And no SSN info was asked, so there's that. She also made me aware of two other previous pending charges that have been there for a few days (which are legit, I had been tracking them), so I feel slightly more sure that it was legit.
Checked back at the email and webpage provided to look at the security certificate, and it checks out fine. Nevertheless, I called at the back of my card because, by then, I was already nearly crying over my oversight--anxiety issues and a lack of sleep will do that to you, heh...
This CSR tells me that, indeed, my card had been compromised, and confirmed that the account had been blocked and that they were not overnighting the card, that it would arrive in 3-5 days (which also eases me, as the woman said they were sending it via regular mail and gave the same timeframe).
Regardless, I'm the world's biggest worrywart, so I requested a fraud alert on my CRs. I don't know what to do with myself now. What else can I do to protect myself? Had a good cry, I think I'll try and get some sleep, finally...

it was organized with folders, albums... I am very sad. The phos is in the computer and listed by date in iphot folder but not the folders and albums. I did cmd-alt restore but nothing... any ideas?

I need help with my music. I got the Iphone 4s and plugged it in my new computer..I can see the list of my songs but as soon as i click to listen to it.. jumps into next song and I can't play any of them. I did my back up to Icloud yesterday..but not sure how to restore from that back up..also would like to have all this songs transfered to my computer
thank youDid you by chance have photo stream turned on? If so then they might be there. When you restored your phone it deleted everything and they will be unretreivable from your computer.

Itunes is on my desk top on windows 7 and I can not open it, I have just downloaded it again and hit repair to see if this helps as well but it still won't open

Are you sending these imessage while on wifi or cellular data? Also your husband would need to be in a good coverage area.
Usually when imessage is unavailable it will send it as a text. Does your husband receive your imessage as a text? -

Are the lines like psychedelic herringbone? If yes, I had that happen once, it was something serious, like the
Logic board. The good news is that it was fixed without any loss of data on the hard drive. Take it in to have Apple look at it ASAP. I took it to TekServe at the time, they are very nice about preserving your data and user library when possible.

Hello, my name is brad and I recently had a voicemail app that I was using and now i got rid of it. But now my voicemail for the phone will not work. I tried to reset the network settings and nothing happened. I was wondering if you could help me out?
When you set up a voicemail redirection, usually you have to remove that redirection from the account that redirected it. Like Google Voice, if you activate Google Voice to receive your voicemail, you will have to log into voice.google.com to turn it off. If you contact your carrier, they can tell you exactly what program has taken over your voicemail functionality just in case you are stuck, but if you know the name of that App, I'm sure you will be able to figure it out. Hope this helps you out.

I have a new iPod Touch and am trying to download photos for the first time. Both iPhoto & Image Capture recognize the device but don't seem to recognize the photos, or at least I can't import them. Nothing happens when I click on anything in either.
If you manually open iPhoto do you not see the photos?

Yu are trying to impoort photos taken by or saved to the iPod, right? If the photos were synced to the iPod then iPhot does not work. -
I've just rented a movie on iTunes, and I tried to start it before the download finished, and now even though it has finished when I try to play it nothing happens. Is there a way to reload it without paying again??
I'm not convinced that starting it before it was downloaded has anything to do with it, you should be able to do that. I'd try restarting the computer and if that doesn't help, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History.

My LG G3 has stopped receiving email from my pop3 road runner account. It just has an "updating" message. It worked fine for the first two weeks and nothing now. Any advice?

Hello! I try for the first time to edit a multicam with FCPX . I did all the sync, i can easily switch images. But nothing happens in the timeline when I use the razor for editing.

… sounds perhaps a bit … too basic , but - as an amateur like me, and using MCs almost any day - you should keep that in mind for your workflow.
After creating a MC, which can be done in seconds!, you get a single clip in the Events browser - and you should treat it as any other clip:
select parts of it, add it to your timeline, you can add it to secondary (for pic-in-pic for example), you can split it, shift it, nudge it, ...
aaaand you can select a diff. perspective = camera (or mic…), without losing synch.
I'm noticing, people spend way too much time in the multi-track timeline view of an MC, in hope, this gives them back those 'tracks' FCPX doesn't offer (for good reasons...)
