YAHOO MAIL SHOWS TEMPORARY ERROR 14 IN FIREFOX?

Been receiving "Temporary Error 14" for days now??? I followed the "Workaround" by Signing out of Yahoo Mail, clearing cache and cookie, restarting my web browser and signing back into my Yahoo Mail several times with no success??? Other Family Members are able to log into their Yahoo Mail using the same computer with no problem??? I'm using Firefox 28.0! I'm able to sign-in on a friends computer with chrome???

How does one contact Yahoo Mail because all I receive is a canned reply that tells me to do the steps I have already done???

The new Yahoo mail shows no graphics using Firefox 24.0 - just identical rectangles where new icons should be.\. However, the new Yahoo mail displays correctly in Safari and Chrome. I believe this has to to with the settings for Javascript. Those settings aren.t easy to access in the most recent Firefox 24.0 version. Help me, please.

The settings for Javascript are either on or off, Fireefox 24 doesn't give you a option to turn off Javascript, unless you installed something like NoScript extension (or some other Javascipt blocking add-on)
If NoScript, then you need to use the View > Toolbars > Customize and drag the NoScript "Temp Allow All" button to the toolbar area to enable all enabled scripts (including Javascript) on that web page.
Under the Firefox Help menu is a option to restart with add-ons disabled to see if something you might have installed is causing your problem.
Reinstall Firefox or create another user account and run Firefox there to try to localize your issue.
I'm having no problem here on 10.6.8 in Firefox, Chrome or Safari, Yahoo Mail works perfectly.

I tried to reproduce the error in my browser, but it worked fine. The calendar loaded without any issues.
Have you tried loading the calendar in any other alternate browser to see if you get any error messages. If you get error messages in other browsers too, the problem may not be in your Firefox browser. But if it works properly in other browser, '''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. Yahoo mail shows only blank page

Recently, I have a trouble with Yahoo mail (as well as flickr, hosted by Yahoo?)
Firefox will show only a blank page after log-in (no problem with log-in screen, mail.yahoo.com).
The same problem also occurs in safe mode.
I also tried to clear cookie and cache but it did not work.
The other browsers work fine.
Would you please suggest me some ideas or solutions about this issue.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
#Open Firefox ''Options'' window (''Preferences'' on Mac or Linux) as follows:
#* In Firefox 29.0 and above, click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]] and select ''Options'' for Windows or ''Preferences'' on Mac or Linux.
#* In Firefox 28.0 and previous versions, click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
#In the Firefox Options (or Preferences) window, click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select ''General''.
#In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
#Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

Yahoo mail opens with blank page on firefox but ok with safari?

When accessing my yahoo mail i attempt to open received mail and only get a blank screen.This only happens using Firefox.When i go to my yahoo account on Safari i can open my received mails and read them,no blank page.

There is a new Calendar function in Yahoo Mail, and I can't get Firefox to access this (though Safari will) - any comment?

Everything else in my Rogers Yahoo Mail is fine - its just this new functionality that keeps reporting - over a week or so - that it can't be accessed. When I open Safari, I have no trouble accessing the Calendar (which has been redesigned by Yahoo).

Firefox doesn't offer to store new passwords if you are in Private Browsing mode, but already saved passwords are accessible. You need to leave PB mode if you want to store a new password.

Dropbox attachment sync with yahoo mail works in Chrome but not firefox.

In the beginning on April 2013, Yahoo mail added the feature of attaching a files straight from dropbox. This feature works fine when I select it in Google Chrome. When I select the option in Firefox it opens up the little window and has the loading wheel. It just stays at that stage forever. Where as in Chrome the dropbox window opens in 2 seconds. Is there as setting I need to change or and add on that I need to get? What's the problem?

Log out 'button' in Yahoo mail is not active/clickable in Firefox

In Yahoo mail the logout 'button' is not active when using Firefox (currently 3.6.8) (&running on XP) so the onlyb way to Logout is to close the browser ( works fine on same Laptop with IE)

Yahoo mail contacts won't load on Firefox 3.6

I am using FF 3.6 on XP. Yahoo mail contacts won't load so I can't access my contacts list for emails, etc.
I am able to successfully open Yahoo mail and view my contacts in IE 7. The contacts tab opens and I can access addresses for email etc.
What's up w/ that?

Why wont yahoo mail work after updating to newst firefox?

I can access yahoo mail site, but when I try to go to inbox, nothing happens. None of the tabs work either. I can access my account with Chrome but not with the updated Firefox.

Not sure why.

Yahoo mail showing up as read

My Yahoo mail is showing up "as read" on my iPhone after it's downloaded to my Mac Mail (using Yahoo Plus). I guess it's doing that because the mail is getting pulled from the server - right?
The problem is my family shares a home computer, so it's on at various points of the day, at which time Mail is set auto check email every 15 minutes. So if a mail is downloaded to the iMac before it's read on the iPhone it will show up as read... which is deceiving, you know?
I have it set to "leave a copy on the server for up to one month", so I don't think that is the issue?
Is there any way to avoid this besides having to manually check my mail on my iMac?

Also, is there a way for me to create/import my mail folders in the iPhone? Before when it was a yahoo account (rather than a POP) I could create folders in the yahoo webmail interface and they would show up, but that's not the case with a POP account.
Or what about IMAP? I think Yahoo Plus supports IMAP now, how would that work with Mac Mail?

Yahoo mail showing 10 new messages but.....

Hi, i've got a first gen iPhone and have a Yahoo mail account on it. Today I noticed that it suddenly has a little red circle with a "10" in it on my mail icon on Iphone home screen, Its correct in saying that I have 10 emails in my inbox but there all open so why is it displaying this, it should only display that for new mail until i've opened them right??
All my mail has been opened and its quite annoying seeing a little 10 there all the time, how do i remove this??

This is still a problem for me. I've tried EVERYTHING! I have deleted my IMAP account then manually set it up on my iPhone... still 2 unread showing in Inbox, I have looked through my account through web access and made sure everything was marked as read... I have deleted my account and resynced through iTunes... I have updated to 1.1.1 with no help. It's really starting to get frustrating as it has shown 2 unread messages for over a month now. Any advice???

Apple Mail and Yahoo - Mail shows as opened in Yahoo?

I have Gmail and Yahoo mail accounts. When I open my Apple mail, all my Yahoo messages show as opened; Gmail does not. Is there a configuration I can perform to correct this problem? I'd like it to function like Gmail, Exchange or iCloud. Suggestions?
