Yahoo mobile mail locked up, html error, java script error

Hi
Does anyone know how to fix Yahoo mail lock ups? When I sign in all I get is the downloading wheel but nothing happens. When I used the debug console I get 9 error messages referring to "HTML Warning on Line 1" JavaScript Log on Line 1" and JavaScript Errors on Line 452, 455, 456, 398".
I've tried restarting my iPod Touch, just updated the operating system and reloaded everything but I still get the same lock out.
Any other ideas?????
Thanks!

Hello,
'''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)''
* You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for that.
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.''
''When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.''
Thank you.

  • Yahoo Mobile Mail on 8830

    I have the 8830 World Edition running on v4.2.2.196 using Sprint, and activated the Yahoo Mobile Mail app for access to my personal Yahoo account from my corporate device. What i didn't realize was that it also automatically forwarded all mail to my BB and now I want to stop that. I tried disabling the Browser Push function but that didn't work. All the answers on this forum talk about either navigating to Email Accounts to delete the address or accessing my provider's website with my account. Since my phone is corporate, I don't have an account with Sprint. Moreover, there is no icon for Email Accounts. If I go to the email settings I see a choice between my Yahoo address and my Desktop, but there's no selection to delete it.
    I just tried going to Service Book under Advanced Options and deleted the 2 references to my Yahoo address. I'll see if that worked but if anyone has another solution I'd appreciate it.

    Let's try that again. (do not know what happened on previous post)
    I could not send photos on Yahoo mobile mail. After getting auto-switched to
    to mobile mail when I setup my mail button and could not switch off mobile
    mail; nor could I find an answer for the reason of not being able to send photos,
    I said the $&@&&@ with it and setup a G-mail account.
    Guess what? Not one email problem on their mobile mail. Even
    after setting up my button for email on my Iphone. True,
    there is no push mail, but I can set it up to check every few minutes.
    My conclusion: Its a Yahoo/Apple/Att problem they don't want to deal with.

  • I can not get Firefox to play music backgrounds on pages in browsers it works in IE and other browsers but not firefox, what HTML or Jave script do I need too use to make them work?

    I'm having a problem with firefox playing background music on some sites, it works with IE and other browsers but not with fire fox, what html or java script do I need to add to the pages so that they play the music?
    I develop my pages in Front Page and I know that the music only works in IE, so if someone can tell me how to correct this problem as it is important as I use fire fox as my main browser.
    I thank you in advance

    If a website uses BGSOUND then it will only work in IE.
    BGSOUND is not compatible with other browsers like Firefox.

  • How to use HTML and Java Script files in Portal

    Hi,
    I am trying to access a web application using iViews. My application contains JSP,HTML,Servlets,JS(java script), image files. I am using JSPDynPro to access the JSP files and I am putting servlets in the private/lib folder of the PORTAL-INF dir of Portal project. Now my problem is almost all the JSP files uses the HTML files, JS files and image files. Where can put these files in the portal project dir structure to give access to the JSP files when i am creating a iView for the JSPDynPro componenets in the irj.
    thanks,
    Ashok

    Hi,
    JSPDynpage is the controller, one JSPDynpage can call more than one jsp file according to the coding. Through the JSPDynpage's setJspName() function only you can display a jsp page.
    EX:
    public void doProcessBeforeOutput() throws PageException {
      this.setJspName("logon.jsp");
    if you put the JSPDynpage in the src.core then the JSPDynpage can be accessed only by this application.
    if you put the JSPDynpage in the src.api then other applications can access this component.
    You can put the jsp pages in the pagelet folder.

  • How to use Contribute to edit html or java script

    I have a client who use Contribute to edit web pages but they
    are unable to edit the html or javascript. I have a javascript
    photogallery they want to update but they can't. Is there away
    around this? I tried a flash gallery but they still can't update
    the xml file. Am I missing something here?

    You can give your users the rights to Edit page source in
    external application (both for xml as javascript):
    1. Main menu>Edit>Administer websites, pick site
    2. Users and Roles, pick role, click Edit role settings
    3. go to Editing and check 'Allow users to edit web page
    source in external application'
    When your users opens (using the Choose btn next to
    addressbar) a .js or .xml file in Contribute (tested in CS3) just
    click the 'Edit btn' and Contribute will open the file in the
    editor you selected.
    How to select the editors:
    1. Main menu>Edit>Preferences
    2. go to File Editors.
    If this does not work in your version maybe you can use Main
    menu>File>Actions>Edit page source in external
    application.

  • IE freezes due to java scripts

    In Yahoo web pages you often find these java scripts:
    <script language="javascript">
    if(window.yzq_p==null)document.write("<scr"+"ipt language=javascript src=http://us.js2.yimg.com/us.js.yimg.com/lib/bc/bcr_2.0.3.js></scr"+"ipt>");
    </script>
    <script language="javascript">

    if(window.yzq_s)yzq_s();
    </script>
    If I load a Yahoo web page from hard disk, which I saved before, Internet Explorer 6 always freezes for 22 seconds.
    Yahoo has no explanation for this behavior. Can anyone on this forum shed any light on this issue ?

    Hello.
    Java and JavaScript are two unrelated technologys.
    Plus this is a developer forum, not an end user support forum.
    You should contact either Yahoo or MS about Y! and MS products.

  • Hello, iam using the latest version of firefox, whenever i login into my yahoo mail account i get a stop script error, the details of the error script is mentioned below , please suggest how to stop this : STOP ERROR

    Hello, iam using the latest version of firefox, whenever i login into my yahoo mail account i get a stop script error, the details of the error script is mentioned below , please suggest how to stop this
    the website is www.mail.yahoo.com. i was getting the same STOP script error every now and then in firefox 6 as well

    I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
    When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
    At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
    I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

  • I downloaded Firefox Optimized for Yahoo on my PC and get an error message about every 15 seconds: Java Script/ Uninstall set. I deleted Firefox and did a new download/installation and am getting the same problem.

    :I went to Mozilla's website and downloaded the Firefox Optimized for Yahoo, following the directions. The download installed easily, but when it opened my Yahoo web page (I already had an account with them), the Java Script error message "Uninstall set!" immediately began alerts, and kept repeating the alert about every 15 seconds. I got the same result even after uninstalling Firefox and downloading a fresh installation. I am only getting this alert via Firefox; I do not get it when using my Yahoo page with Google. Thanks.

    Is Oracle Enterprise Edition supports "POP3S" protocol?, Or Enterprise edition needs any additional configuration for establishing outlook connection with "pop3s" ?.
    Any help is appreciated

    I suspect root cause is with Java not Oracle.
    Oracle RDBMS does NOT speak any "protocol" except SQL natively.

I have used the Disk Utility to rparir files and rest Safari. I have deleated Firefox then downloaded a fresh version, still the same error messages ! Please help it's driving me nutts.

    Perky --
    You do not need any "Cleaner" app for Macs.  I would not be at all surprised if that didn't actually damage your Mac, especially if it were MacDefender. Applejack is OK, but I'm not sure what it erased.  Do you know?
    You also don't need any Virus Barrier.  That could also mess things up.
    The fact that all of your browsers are now messed up indicates that it is not a Safari problem, but more system-wide.
