DustinMedlam, I have the same exact problem. I started using my Iphone 4S for shooting video about 2 months ago and tranferred them to my Windows machine with Windows 7. I use the clips in Sony Vegas pro 11 and make short movies. I upgraded to ios 6 last week and every video that I shoot with my iphone 4S now is not usable in Quictime or Sony Vegas???? My old videos from before ios 6 play just fine and I can use them in Sony Vegas with no problems. The only way to play the files is with Windows media player. this does me no good as I just began making short films and now I can not use any of the video I have shot since ios 6. I also have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I shoot video with it and use the clips in Sony Vegas with no issues!?? I can not believe this is not BLOWING up on the internet like the WIFI issue is..... What do we do? All my video gear is for my Iphone not my galaxy S2. This is very annoying. I also notice that no one from Apple response to these support forums. So why are they available?? What a JOKE!

Regular playlists vs smart playlist does not make a difference. What I noticed is that some videos create this behavior and some not. I created 2 videos and 2 music playlists, one with 2 songs and 2 videos (that I encoded myself with Handbrake). Another list with 2 videos and 2 songs, videos encoded with Handbrake, but that I noticed they triggered the behavior. The first playlist played fine, with no problems. The second one, created the problem. When I look at the video, it is the same type of video (bit rate, audio channels, etc...) I don't see why it would do that.
Later I will test: playing those videos in question and then selecting songs to see if they play.

go to Help Menu -> select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled"
Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. Now do this:

-> go to View Menu -> Zoom -> click "Reset"
-> go to View Menu -> Page Style -> select "Basic Page Style"
-> go to View Menu -> Toolbars -> unselect "Yahoo! Music Search Bar"

-> go to Tools Menu -> Options -> Privacy -> History section -> ''Firefox will: '''select "Use custom settings for history"''''' -> PLACE CHECKMARKS on:

4) Accept Cookies from sites -> select "Exceptions..." button -> Click "Remove All Sites" at the bottom of "Exception - Cookies" window
4a) Accept Third-party Cookies -> under "Keep Until" select "They Expire"
-> REMOVE CHECKMARK from Last Option (CLEAR HISTORY WHEN FIREFOX CLOSES)
-> click the Favicon (small drop down menu icon) on Firefox SearchBar (its position is on the Right side of the Address Bar) -> click "Manage Search Engines" -> select "Yahoo! Music Search Bar" and other unwanted search engines and click Remove -> click OK
-> go to Tools Menu -> Add-ons -> Extensions section -> REMOVE "Yahoo! Music Search Bar extension" (add-on) and other Unwanted/Suspicious Extensions (Add-ons) -> Restart Firefox
You can enable your Known & Trustworthy Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.

URGENT-MUSIC VIDEO WILL NOT PLAY

Ok, i know this sound desperate, but technically it is. I have to know the entire dance section of "Thriller" by Michael Jackson by Monday. So i bought the music video and it works just fine on iTunes, but when i play it on my iPod, it goes to the black "Video" screen for about 15 seconds and then goes bak to the menu. I open the video through the video menu, it is set to "Off" on TV Out, the TV signal is NTSC, and the widescreen is off. I've tried reseting it and it still does not work.
Im sorry if i gave you too much info, i just want to give all the facts so you have something to work with.

Why do my itune music videos not play through my Bose Soundlink Air? My downloaded music plays fine. Also my music videos play through my iTouch its just through my Mac computer they won't.

Since installing ML, My email video attachments that I recive do not play any sound. The video component works fine, loads reasonably quickly but has no sound. I have check my speaker settings and sound plays on other applications, eg itunes etc. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I purchased the music videos directly on itunes, then imported them into my ipod. They dont play either the music or the video. It also seems the ipod temporarily stops responding while its trying to play (cant adjust volume, or go back to the menu)

Music Videos do not play in iTunes 11.1.4.62

Had to reinstall iTunes and now none of my videos play.
I do not know when it happened (at a certain iTunes upgrade or not) as i don't play the videos that much.
I have switch video settings to SAFE MODE in Quicktime, as the various different topics here say to do, no avail. The thumbnails of the videos appear in iTunes, they simply do not play. Black screen only and the progress bar doesn't PLAY. you can slide it, but no picture or sound. All files are .m4v.
Windows Vista.
I know the files work, as they play in regular Quicktime.
Any idea?

NPR Music videos will not play.

None of the videos on NPR music will play. They play on IE and Chrome. I have updated flash and downloaded Real Player.

Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.

Random songs in my music library will not play with an error message "computer does not have access rights" but this is not true. I do, and when I re-type the password, it tells me I already have access rights. How do I fix this?

When I try to play songs from itunes, I get an error message that my computer is not authorized. My songs have all played in the past. This is something new. I verified my computer is authorized, and when I try to re-enter the password, it tells me that I am already authorized. Makes no sense at all. It's an endless circle. Also, my shuffle will not sync due to access rights denied. I did nothing new, I always take the updates. My shuffle and compter are the same, no changes. Everything is verified in my itunes account. For some reason, it is blocking me from half of my music. Help!

Many times the Yahoo news videos will not play.

Many of the headlining news stories have accompanying videos. When I click on the video, I get a black screen with an never ending rotating blue circle in the middle of the field, as if it is looking for the video, but it never starts up. I can open other website videos, for the most part. But, for some reason, the Yahoo videos cannot be viewed.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Bing videos will not play on macbook. I have relaoded adobe and silverlight.

I cannot get Bing news videos to play from msn.com. They load and say there will be a 4 second ad, but it never comes. I've reloaded Adobe but now all I get is a window asking to accept or deny all videos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One of the following steps should help.
1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button
     Install Adobe Flash Player.

    Quit Safari.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Enable Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Web Content: > "Enable Plug-ins".
       or
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow all other plug-ins
3. Check whether you are currently in YouTube HTML 5 trial.
     http://www.youtube.com/html5
    At the bottom left of the page uncheck the box beside
   "You are currently in the HTML5 trial".
4. Reset Safari.
    Click Safari in the menu bar.
    From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
    Uncheck the boxes next to all items.
    Check the box next to "Remove all website data".
    Click "Reset".
5. Turn off Extensions, if any.
    Safari > Preferences > Extensions
     Now try YouTube.

In multicam editing Im cutting a part and the audio is staying. The video part has been cut, but the original audio continues to play. I made several similar edits earlier and had no problems. Please help!! Thanks

Absolutely nothing to do with top or bottom or whatever order they're set in the angle editor, though it's practical to set the audio at the bottom as you're not going to be cut, but it can be anywhere. In can bet in the middle if the stack. What is import is what is the active angle when you edit the clip into the timeline. You can change it afterwards, but it's easiest to do when you first make the edit into the timeline. In the angle viewer you set the active angle. That's what gets edited into the timeline as the first cut.
This is the angle viewer.
Cam 2 is the active angle. When it's edited into the timeline that's the video and audio that appears. In your case you would set bounce as the active angle. You can change the video in the timeline after you set the angle viewer to cut or switch video only. Then bounce remains as the audio.

I just bought my iphone last night. I bought a music video from itunes, but when I go to sync it to my iphone, I get the message: Music Video cannot be copied. You are not authorized to play it on this computer. I downloaded some free pod casts and trailers and had no problem syncing. I am using my personal laptop and only have the administrative user account set up. Does anyone has any clue how to correct this? Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks.

Play the video one time in iTunes, you may be prompted to enter your account information to authorize the computer to play content purchased from the iTunes Store.
Once that has been done, it should copy over.
