Yahoo Pool Problem
A few days ago i was trying to play yahoo pool and it wouldn't let the room open, even though my friend said i was already in the room i really wasn't there (she has a pc) and it kept giving me a message about how i have something with a pop-up control that won't let me open the page. does anybody know where to find the pop-up controls in here? and how to adjust them?
If you were using Safari... goto the Menu at top, Safari>Security... uncheck "Block pop-up Windows"!

I am facing problem in playing yahoo pool in Firefox 4 while it was working fine in Firefox 3.6. In Firefox 4 the combination of mouse keys are not working properly.
I updated to Firefox 4.01 today and the middle scroll button on my Lenovo T400 stopped working. I downloaded the updated Ultranav utility and the Ultranav driver for my T400 from here http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-72858.html and then uninstalled the "Thinkpad Ultranav Driver" from Add/Remove programs rebooted and then installed the updated utility and driver (another reboot) and it now works perfectly.
So glad to get this working again. -
Yahoo Pool from within open chat box crashing when using the mimimize butto
While using my version 5 update 6 SUN java and while playing yahoo pool in an open chat box I frequently need to use the minimize button. This causes a "crash" (read:program not responding) everytime!. I have done every tweak possible to my system using a PENT III with 512k of ram and a fresh install of XP with all the latest updates. This includes all the updated drivers and no video card acceleration. Regardless of what I do, that yahoo pool within the open chat box will CRASH when the minimize button is clicked. I have had to remove my SUN Java and reinstall the old windows VM. Now, my problems are gona and I am enjoying Yahoo pool from within the open chat box with no problems. Please advise.
I'm also seeing this issue. We have a batch of new IR5000 and IR7000s with Fiery controllers. The batch before this didn't have the issue. Now the printers will randomly lock up and require a reboot to bring it back online. This is happening across multiple machines. We are still using a combination of the A1/B1 and are slowly migrating to the A2/B2 drivers. All of them print fine but wondering if the old drivers are part of the issue. One thing I'm looking into is the old printers were served from a 2008R2 PServe and the new ones are being served off of 2012R2. Considering the driver isolation options as a potential fix. I also think our firewall filtering may be an issue. We filter lots of content and that can hang IE when it tries to render content for the print job. Printing www.google.com works fine, but any content heavy site such as msn.com lags or stalls because of all the content those type of pages load up.
Would love to know if you found some good info. A suggestion to Canon. The "Hey we just make it, talk to the people that sell it for support" does not build customer loyalty or confidence. -
Oracle.DataAccess 2.112.1.0 - Connection Pool Problem

Oracle.DataAccess 2.112.1.0 is having connection pool problem. The no. of TCP connections to Oracle database keep increasing untill the server's session run out of limit. My application created connections, use them, close them, and dispose them properly. When using previous Oracle.DataAccess 2.111.6.20, the no. of TCP connections do not increase.
My database connection string has "Min Pool Size = 3 and Max Pool Size = 150".
With 2.111.6.20 version, TCP connection stays at 3.
With 2.112.1.0, TCP connection keep increasing for every 5 minutes. I've tried to disable Self Tuning, but still can't prevent the connections from increasing.
Later today, I downloaded Oracle.DataAccess 2.112.1.2 (it comes with ODAC 11.2.0.1.2) and test again, the problem is resolved... no more connection increases... but.... it is only for 32 bit Windows.
Unfortunately, there is no Oracle.DataAccess 2.112.1.2 for 64 bit Windows Server 2008.
May I know how can i resolve this problem on 64bit Window installed with Oracle 11g R2 client, which comes with Oracle.DataAccess 2.112.1.0, which has serious problems...(according to this 11.2 ODP.NET causing test runner failures )

The only thing that jumps out within your problem description is that connections are being increased every 5 minutes. Are you sure its every 5 minutes and not 3 minutes which is the timing interval used by the Connection Pool facility to perform connection pool maintenance. If this occurs even when the application is idle then you could be running into the following known issue filed against 11.2.0.1.0 and fixed in 11.2.0.1.2.
Bug 9711600 - CONNECTIONS INCREASE BEYOND MAX POOL SIZE EVERY 3 MINUTE
This is specific to using the option CommandBehavior.CloseConnection when calling execute reader. Are you using this option and then also closing the connection in code before the datareader object is closed, if so you may be hitting this bug. You can also generate an ODP trace at level 15 of the behavior and if you see negative pool counts, that is also a diagnostic that points to this bug.
This is fixed in 11.2.0.1.0 Patch 3 or later for x64. If you have support, I recommend you open a service request to verify if this is your issue and if a patch set may help you.

Was working then two days ago all of a sudden stopped working. I did not change my password. I have since used Yahoo's web based account (regular not plus). My password consists of only letters and numbers. I have tried deleting and recreating. I get messages saying wrong password or username. I have typed in 5 times and yes I have logged of on Web based mail and logged in typing in the same exact words and it works. I have also gotten a error message of something talking about imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com. ANY IDEAS??
Well, I've also been dealing with this strange problem of being unable to make Yahoo Mail work on my iphone. I've never had any problems until last Friday 3-27-09. I changed my password, I've attempted setting up Yahoo Mail on another iphone. Symptom does not change. At first, my account would authenticate, but then when I would go in to check in Mail, message would appear saying my password was incorrect. One thing I've also noticed, and I'm wondering if these problems correlate in some way, is that my Yahoo Messenger application on my desktop computer is also exhibiting the same sign-on problem. I really think this may be a Yahoo issue. But I've been in contact with one of their support bot's. They stated on a previous email that this is a known issue with Messenger. For my Iphone problem, they just redirect me to some general mobile Yahoo website that is pretty much useless to me. I've troubleshooted this issue enough to be confident that it is more complex and that it's not me entering in the wrong password and that it is not an Iphone settings problem. I opened a new Yahoo email ID, and was able to set it up successfully on the Iphone. It seems to me that some accounts may be affect and may not be a global "Yahoo Server" problem. Any other tips or advice would help here....

Serious connection pool problem on Tomcat

We are deploying our JSF creator-made app onto Tomcat 1.5. We set up our JNDI datasource on Tomcat (using the i-net driver ).
Initially the pages load ok but after a short period of time we are getting these errors:
Initialization Failure: javax.faces.FacesException: org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot get a connection, pool exhaustedWe believe that somehow the Creator-generated code is NOT freeing up connections in the connection pool.
We think that when the afterRenderResponse() methods in the beans call rowset.close() this is NOT returning the connections to the pool. Can someone, hopefully a Sun Engineer confirm that the rowset.close() code in afterRenderResponse() returns the connection behind the rowset to the connection pool.
Could this be a driver issue? We are using the i-net driver not the DataDirect one, but this should implement the full API.
This is a very serious problem for us.

Oracle connection pool problem (dbcp binded with jtom)

my webserver is Tomcat5.0.18, I want to offer the connection pool and transaction management
in my currently system
I know in Tomcat5.0 version, we can use the DBCP to offer the database connection pool
service, to apply the transaction management in my system, I adapt the JTOM
now, my problem is
to use DBCP, I setup the datasource factory to be
org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSourceFactory, the connection pool is ok, but
the transaction management offerred by JTOM will failure
to make the tranaction management of JTOM succeed, I have to setup the datasource factory to be
org.objectweb.jndi.DataSourceFactory, but the connection pool offerred by Tomcat will failure now
it seems that these two datasource factory has conflict
How can I do?, I don't want to use the connection pool offerred in JTOM
Anyone can help me??

I don't know the solution for JOTM, but you could try this JTA and its connection pools:
http://www.atomikos.com ships a JTA that integrates with Tomcat and also provides JDBC connection pooling. There is a GUI control panel so that you don't have to know the XML details for Tomcat's config files.

Connection Pooling problem in Weblogic Server 6.1

We are using weblogic server 6.1 sp3. The server creates three database connection
pools (details available in the attached config.xml).
The database has a regular downtime every day for a few hours. We are running
the server as a windows service. As per the "RefreshMinutes" property, the server
should be able to get new fresh connections once the database comes up. But in
our case it is not doing so. Once the database comes up after its regular downtime:
-- Sometimes the server does not respond as in we are not able to open the console
page.
-- Any client that tries connecting to the database thru the server gets blocked
and does not respond.
-- The log file(weblogic.log) does not get updated after some time.
Can someone suggest why the server is showing such a behaviour??
Could it be anything related to the DBMS setting or to the local machine's settings

Connection pooling problem in TopLink with JBoss4.0.3

I am using JBoss4.0.3SP1 with TopLink-10g(9.0.4.5) and Sybase as database. I am implementing connection pooling of JBoss with Sybase. I have done all the changes in JBoss mapping files.
Now to enable connection pooling in TopLink I have set the <uses-external-connection-pooling> attribute in sessions.xml file to true and I have added <datasource> attribute corresponding to the datasource defined in JBoss. It is working fine but when I delete the username, password...etc attribute from the sessions.xml then I am not able to get the session from datasource.
Can anyone tell me what to do or where I am making mistake? Any help on this will be appreciatedI tried that code also but the project object that I am getting is null which is in this line

I m using module pool and i have used select-options in the screen, for that i have definged select-options as subscreen and called using call subscreen... in module pool.
My problem is when i validate select-options im thrown error message and that select-options getting disabled i tried to keep chain and endchain in the module program and that says that it can not recognize the select-options(fields).
any solution for this.

Tomcat Connection pooling problem
I am using Tomcat connection pooling (DBCP) to get the connection from the Database
It really works great with Oracle, MySQL, Sybase and as well as DB2.
Recently I tried to integrate apache with tomcat to improve the performance.
But now the problem is I am unable to load the JDBC Driver its giving me an error message as Cannot load JDBC driver class ?null?

Interseting thing is I am able to get connection through datasource(DBCP) if I use the following URL
http://localhost:8080/application _name/Hello.jsp
But I get the error message when I try to get connection through datasource(DBCP)
as Cannot load JDBC driver class ?null? for this URL
http://localhost/application_name/Hello.jsp
Both the URL use same server.xml, httpd.conf,servlet class and jsp pages
Gurus can you please help me to understand why my application is unable to get the connection when I use this URL http://localhost/application_name/Hello.jsp

I refereced to the "JNDI Datasource HOW-TO" in Jakarta Tomcat. I am using Tomcat 4.18. I can get DataSource object, but when to get connection from dataSource, not any response, It seems freezing.

I configured it correcly I believe. The strange thing is that there is only one iSCSi initiator pool. See attachment.
so when we configure iSCSi Boot Parameters, there is just ONE IP Address Policy. I think this may be the reason things got messed up in my setup.
Both my two blades are connected SP through FI-A.
The problem is that :
Blade1:
iSCSi-vNIC-A gets initiator IP from FI-B VLAN (the second pool in the attachment) and this is wrong. Should be from FI-A vlan.
iSCS-VNIC-B getsinitiator IP in the FI-B vlan and that is correct.
Fo rBlade 2 something similar happened:
iSCSi-vNIC-A: initiator IP is on FI-A vlan and this is how it should be.
iSCSi-vNIC-B: Wrong initiator IP (FI-A vlan).
All target IPs are correct as I set them to be.The doc is misleading. When you select from an iscsi initiator pool there's only one option - "Pool". No where can you select alternate pools. Additionally you can't create multiple iscsi IP Pools.
If you want to use separate VLANs for your iscsi inititiators then you'd need to use "Static" manual entries. Ensure the required iscsi VLAN is set as the Native VLAN on each respective overlay vNIC.
Target Initiators can be in different subnets.
I'll ask to have this doc updated to detail the correct procedure if you want dual initiators in separate VLANs.
