I had issues in 10.4.7 as well as 10.4.8.
My problems occurred at the beginning of 10.4.8, then many users brought light to me using WEP, which was not working that great. I changed my connections to WPA2 and my problem has disappeared. If my problem didn't resolve the way it did, I would have mentioned it the next time I visited an apple store.
The bottom line is that assumptions, complaining, and self diagnostics don't get many people very far and bringing the problem to apple helps them know the incidence of this problem, and helps them develop a reliable solution.
Though some users have reported the "cold shoulder" when reporting Airport problems to apple... I hope you weren't one of them.

No app is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order

Oh no! Lets ensure that you are connected. Have you tried to reset the Network Extender? Are other devices able to connect to the Extender? Is your Internet service up and running?

I use a IP.board hosted forum, and for some reason the editor tool icons will not show of Firefox. I haven't had this problem until about 2 days ago.

I have been regularly using an IP.board hosted forum on Mozilla and it has been working fine until as of 2 days ago I suddenly unable to see the post editor icons.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
If you see little boxes that show the hex code of the characters then those missing icons are actually supplied by a font that is downloaded from the server (@font-face)
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

I have had ATV2 for a month now and it was working great up until about 3 days ago. I used it to play music one night off home sharing from my itunes, and then the next day, it wouldnt recognize home sharing and let me use airplay/mirroring. Any thoughts?

I didnt touch anything from the previous day after it last worked, so im not sure why it suddenly stopped working. I've tried turning off/on homesharing, siging in with a different account but still using my appleid..i've reset the ATV2 to it factory settings and then reinstalled the recent update but nothing seems to be working. Whenever i turn on homesharing on my macbook pro, it akknowledges that its on, but then the little logo for homesharing goes away as soon as i click done. Not sure if that is normal or not. Im assuming this is a prb with itunes because my photostream works off ATV2, receiving pics from my comp,but i cant seem to stream movies etc. The airplay icon is also no longer on my mac screen. I have no idea whats going on. Any ideas?

Plug you iPhone into your computer, select the iPhone, select the photos tab. Now check (not uncheck) the sync photos from... Select the folder where the photo came from, click apply then sync, now uncheck the sync photos box, click apply, it will ask you if you want to remove the photos click remove, it will not delete other photos exept the ones in the folder that was synced. Then click sync and the photos will be removed

If you are getting the blank app update screen, many, many people are having this problem over the last couple of days. It is a problem that Apple must fix now.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.
