Yahoo search example failed http connection

The Yahoo search example supplied with XMP-FileInfo-SDK-5.1 works perfectly well when PanelTest.mxml is compiled from Flashbuilder 4. However when I add the panel to Photoshop CS5 the http request fails. IT have indicated that the request doesn't even get as far as the firewall. The installation of Photoshop is at the root level, so the info panels are at Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/XMP/Custom File Info Panels/3.0/panels, not /Users/<username>/etc.
cfg files are in place and flash security settings are correct for that location.

When I use the search toolbar to search Google or Bing, I get a Connection was reset error. No problem with Wikipedia or Yahoo.
No problem using the same function with Safari.
Can go to Google in the address bar, but again, searches fail to connect.

Failing Http Connection

Hi
I want to send SMS thru ABAP code. For that I am creating http client in an ABAP program.
I am getting an exception in the http_client->recieve method saying:
ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED
Even when i test the standard report program 'RSWF_TEST_HTTP' to test http connection it fails .
Any help ?

Hi Purva,
Can you ping the server /st06 -> Detail.. -> Ping/?
Might be that a firewall prevents you to access the server or something like this.
Also check the log/trace files in SMICM.
Are you sure that your HTTP service is active?

Yahoo toolbar and google toolbar enter in google search, appears in yahoo search, like they are connected

Yesterday the aps for my older yahoo toolbar would not open after loading the latest version of Firefox. I had to reload the yahoo toolbar. Now when I use the Google search field, and hit search, the same typed words from the google search field appear in the yahoo search box. Also the menu bar now has Yahoo on it. I would like it to go away.

HELP: CameraWindow DC "Failed To Connect To The Server"

Just purchased a Powershot SX280 HS. It is fantastic little camera. I have been a Nikon guy for years, but this camera really has changed my mind. I am having a challenge however. I am unable to complete the camera setup through CameraWindow DC, as every time I try to "Set Up Web Services," and Log In, I get the message "Failed To Connect To The Server." I am completely registered, and can log in and access Canon Image Gateway, as well as upload content. WIFi tests out good, and I am able to connect from camera to both my iPhone and iPod. Do you think the CIG server may be down on their end? I am simply trying to complete setup so that I can get the Fscebook and Twitter interface on the Powershot. Thanks.

I had the same problem with my ELPH 330 HS and called customer service yesterday. Here's what needed to happen to fix it:
1) In the "Canon" folder under "Program Files" that is created when you install the software, there is a subfolder called "WirelessCameraConnectionSetting". Within that folder is an exe file called "WirelessCameraConnectionSetting.exe". Double click it and go through prompts, if any.
2) Make sure you've already created a user account on Canon's site.
3) Double-check that your camera is listed as registered under your user profile. I had registered my camera before creating my user account, and so even though I had received an email congratulating me on registering it, the camera was not associated with my user account and it needs to be in order for the "setup web access" through CameraWindow to work. In fact, there's an "additional features" selection called something like "use Canon iMAGE Gateway" that needs to be checked on while registering so that you have established the camera and the ability to use it via the web with your user profile.
Once I'd done all that, it worked just fine. I responded about all this in my customer service feedback survey that they emailed me last night. So hopefully, they'll provide a packaging blow-in or a link on their site. But since I found this forum post by searching CameraWindow Failed To Connect To Server, I'm hoping that if nothing else, others will find this before needing to call themselves.

Hi all.
The environment is J2SDK4 + Tomcat4.0.4
I tried to implement the WebClient.java in SUN/Marty Hall's book "Core Servlets and JavaServer Pages".
Everything compiles okay. All the java and class files are in a package under the /examples folder in tomcat.
When I invoke WebClient.html in "http://localhost:8080/examples/" I got this error:
load: class com.omh.utilities.WebClient not found.

My environment is j2sdk4 and TC404. I am trying to implement SUN/Marty hall's WebClient for administering host, port and requests. The code uses java.net's SocketUtil. e.g.

I searched all the forums they were also talking abt proxy setting does has any idea is that is also one of the reason. We were able to resolve the HTTP outbound errors by setting the following java.net properties to the opmn.xml file.

E.g. -- here is a modified XML fragment.

As of now we have added "-Dhttp.proxySet=true -Dhttp.proxyHost=www-proxy.us.oracle.com -Dhttp.proxyPort=80" to every of these sections.
But which is the exact section to be modified for Outbound HTTP?

FormsGraph: open HTTP connection failed

I have the forms 9i demos installed and they work fine. However when I put my own form into the bigraph\forms directory and try to run it, the form itself runs but I have no chart. The implementation class is the same as in the FormsGraph demo.
I have copied the [bigraph] config information in forms90demo.cfg to my own config, changing only the fmx name and the userid. However, the java console shows

followed by a number of java classes.
What could be going wrong?

Even when I replace graph90.fmx in the [bigraph] named configuration with my portfoliomanager.fmx I still get these errors. This leads me to think there is something wrong with the form itself. The demos work fine.
