Yahoo toolbar has installed its self and I cant find a way to remove it

My homepage is set as Google but Yahoo has installed its self and i prefer google

If you mean that your account is disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

i thint the "yellow button" mean the toolsline.
this option was relocated to the right site, next to the search button/menu
if you want see the toolsline, left click the top of the window, and click to the toolsline button

I want to remove Yahoo Toolbar and one way to do so is to go to Tools dropdown menu. But Yahoo toolbar has "covered this up" and I can't locate my TOOLS dropdown menu anymore. Can someone assist me to circumvent this?

I have tried to uninstall Yahoo Toolbar using this and other methods. Another is to find the "pencil" icon to uninstall-- but my Yahoo toolbar doesn't have a "pencil" icon!! HELP!! I never wanted the Yahoo toolbar but it was auto installed with latest version of Firefox. I no longer have a URL bar at top of page to input URLs, no way to hit a "back" arrow to go back to prior website-- not good.

hello, this sounds like the files in your [[Profiles|profile folder]] that store the information about your extensions might have become corrupted. please go to ''firefox > help > troubleshooting information > profile - show folder...'' then windows explorer should open up your profile folder. in there look for the files named extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite, extensions.sqlite-journal (and in some cases also extensions.txt, extensions.rdf). delete or rename those files and quit firefox, they will be regenerated the next time you launch firefox.

Yahoo toolbar was installed inadvertently & now I can't find internet options

I installed a video converter. During installation, I had the choice to accept or decline the Yahoo toolbar. I declined it. After the software installed and I went to Firefox, the browser is polluted with Yahoo stuff. It even covers up or masks Internet Options. I googled how to delete it, but the suggestion was to click on the pencil??. I cannot find a pencil anywhere near any of the yahoo info. Help me please!!

Delete the account migrated from another Admin account (create one if you have too) and reboot.
Create the new user account again and transfer files manually from the PC.
Use a external storage drive on the PC, standard MBR-FAT32 will do (not NTFS), however if you have any +4GB sized files, then right click and format exFAT on the PC.
If the PC doesn't have exFAT (XP for instance) then there is a free download from Microsoft.
Drives, partitions, formatting w/Mac's + PC's
Take the storage drive to the Mac, it can read just about anything.

are both places where screen size may change inadvertantly. Use higher resolutions, but lower screen zoom.

Hi I am trying to down load an app to design a kitchen. clicking install does nothing and I cant find adblock anywhere.

When I upgraded my FF to the latest one my bookmarks will not work as before and I cant find a way to change it

I am running win7 hp 64.when I upgraded to v14.0.1 the bookmark wont operate as they have in the past and I dont know how to make them work as in the past. I have to double click files to get them to open.I cant organize them to open without double click or in some cases even more.its frustrating me to no end. FF has always been my favorite browser and I hate to have to deal with this. I hope you can help me

It's not clear to me what you're trying to accomplish. If you get rid of your digital ID you will still be prompted to create/add one when you need to sign a form, which you say you still need to do? Do you really just want to e-sign (hand-drawn signature, or stamp) instead of digitally sign? Do the forms you're using have digital signature fields?

Hello Firefox:
I am quite dismayed at changes that have recently been made on my two email accounts; gmail and yahoo.
My yahoo toolbar has completely disappeared along with the bookmarks of which I had several.
Not long ago my "favorites" list disappeared and I had to replace it with "bookmarks".
WHAT IS GOING ON?
I also do not like the e-mail changes with the send box having the "send" and other tools on the BOTTOM. How awful. Change doesn't always mean "better".
Will you please advise me as to how I may get my toolbar and bookmarks back?
ALSO, the e-mails do not fit my computer screen and many times I have shut down the e-mail and re-enter my passwords in order to get out of a page. CAN YOU FIX THIS? Everything worked so well before.
Please tell me where I can get help with these items. I AM A VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.
