Yahoo toolbar was installed inadvertently & now I can't find internet options

I installed a video converter. During installation, I had the choice to accept or decline the Yahoo toolbar. I declined it. After the software installed and I went to Firefox, the browser is polluted with Yahoo stuff. It even covers up or masks Internet Options. I googled how to delete it, but the suggestion was to click on the pencil??. I cannot find a pencil anywhere near any of the yahoo info. Help me please!!

Delete the account migrated from another Admin account (create one if you have too) and reboot.
Create the new user account again and transfer files manually from the PC.
Use a external storage drive on the PC, standard MBR-FAT32 will do (not NTFS), however if you have any +4GB sized files, then right click and format exFAT on the PC.
If the PC doesn't have exFAT (XP for instance) then there is a free download from Microsoft.
Drives, partitions, formatting w/Mac's + PC's
Take the storage drive to the Mac, it can read just about anything.

two files would show up in "images".
Do you mean in the All Images search in the Finder?
IF so:
1.Never interact with photos that are in iPhoto via the All Images Search. This does not understand the iPhoto Library and it's very, very easy to damage the library this way.
2. What you were seeing was the original file you imported and the thumbnail created by iPhoto for viewing on the iPhoto Window. That thumbnail is not designed for user access.
What are you trying to do ultimately?

If you cannot get your iPod Shuffle to show up in iTunes, check out the following articles depending if it shows up on your computer within Windows Explorer. With the iPod Shuffle plugged in check in Windows Explorer to see if it shows up as a removable device. They both will help no matter how the iPod Shuffle shows up.

Does anyone know where the file is after you install the lion update. I want to burn it to disk but can't find it anywhere

why ? it is a fact.
The "install Mac OS X lion.app" is only a virtual folder, inside this folder ( right-click and "show package contents" ) you will find the real installation files and a hidden file, which contains the base system dmg ).
The net is full of instructions on how cou can create a bootable drive with the files inside the app.
After Lion has been installed from within Snow Leopartd it is too late, that's not rude to say that you should have taken care of that before..
At least what you are now experience is how Apple has invented the install process : One time launch within Snow.
some time later ( next month or so ) Apple will sell bootable USB drives with Lion for all those that have no Internet. Your second chance, then.

I sync my iPad. Now everything is messed up playlists and music are gone. Weird stuff showed up. And now I can't find the option to delete or make new playlists. 6.1.2 is my newest version!! NEED HELP!!

So I don't sync my iPad very often. My dad and I share a computer. And I decided to do it the other day. I am pretty sure I did it all correctly selecting music that I wanted not deleting playlists but it seems to be that they are gone. And music I didn't want has appeared. And now I don't have an option (with this new iOS 6.1.2) to make new playlists or edit music I don't want out.
I know I need help figuring those two things out 1 how to make a play list. There isn't a "add" button anymore in that screen I have a "you have no playlist"with a button underneath that says "go to iTunes Store" why I would need the store for that, I do not know.
Then in the songs, artists, albums sections where you used to be able to hit "edit" button to delete the music you have that you don't want. I don't seem to be able to do anything at all to get rid of the random music I have.
I need help. I know my iPad fairly well but I am not super savvy with it either.

There is no Edit button to delete music, swipe sideways on the song to reveal the delete button. Tap and hold on the artwork in Artists and albums to reveal the (X) button to delete. Or connect the iPad back up to iTunes on the computer and check your sync settings for music to ensure you are syncing the right content.

Hi I tried firefox as a browser but didn't keep it. Uninstalled it and put explorer 9 back on. Tonight a power surge knocked out my desktop pc totally. When I got it back on, there were start up problems. Start up repair restored to a different date, and it happened to be the date when I installed firefox. I accidentally hid the menu toolbar, now I can't find an option to unhide it, HELP!

I was trying to hide some pesky tool bars, I clicked view, then I clicked a toolbar to hide, I hid the wrong one, I hid the menu tool bar. Now I am totally stuck!
I don't know what version firefox, because the information is in the tool bar I hid. I can't get to tools or view or preferences or nothing.

You may need to use Alt+F10 if you hid all of them like I did researching your trouble ;p
Even after using Alt+F10 you will need to go to View > Toolbars immediately and choose Menu Bar or Navigation Bar. If you do anything before then it seems to disappear.

Jacktilley, lemew is correct! While we do not know of any apps that are out there, you can transfer any MP3 you may have on your home computer and use it with your phone.
Simply plug your phone to your computer using its USB cable > Tap the option for USB Mode > When your computer loads your phone as an external hard drive, simply open the folder to view the contents of your Palm > Open the Ringtones folder, and this is where you will want to copy any MP3's you may have.
After you have copied over songs to that folder, unmount your device from your computer. (If you check the area where you selected USB Mode, you should be able to change it to Just Charge.) Finally,open your phones Sounds and Ringtones App, and find your song!

Am prompted to save a web page as a file before I can print it. How to fix it. Also Yahoo toobar was installed. Are they related

Someone asked if I could help with this problem they are having with Firefox with Windows XP.
There are a couple things going on that may or may not be related.
Firstly the Yahoo toolbar was installed in Firefox. I assume this was bundled with another program or update.
Also, if you try to print a webpage from within Firefox you are prompted to save the file first. I tried printing a page from Firefox on my computer (Firefox 30 Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint - 1.0) and was not prompted to save the file first.
I'm assuming that this issue is related to the Yahoo toolbar.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
