Yahoo voice search app has no voice input function

Google Search App Disappearing

Hello,
Recently, the google search app has disappeared from my Ipad Air. The app was randomly deleted, and there is not an option to redownload or open the app in the app store. I did not update the IOS or the app, and I did not manually uninstall the app.
Anyone have a solution to this?

First thing I would recommend is search your iPad for the application, as it may have been moved to a folder or another page:

If you confirm that the file isn't on your device, then you should be able to download the application again using the following Knowledge Base article:

Tap App Store.

Find the item that you want to download.

IPhone 4s Voice Memo App has 5 second delay when the record button is pressed. When it starts recording, it goes from 0 seconds to 5 or so seconds recorded. This happens randomly and often and sometimes has the delay but starts at zero. Solution Anyone?

This happens randomly and often, sometimes it will have the 5+ second delay but starts recording at zero seconds. Besides the delay it has been working fine as far as saving and playback is concerned. I have plenty of storage on the phone itself and it NEVER had this problem before I updated to iOS 7. I've reset the phone a couple times by holding down the power and home buttons at the same time. The reason I have an issue with this is that I'm always recording song ideas, melodies, and scratch takes; what I'm saying is when I come up with an idea I need to be able to know that when I hit record it will start right then so I don't forget anything that has just popped in my mind.
Does anyone have a solution or suggestion?

Voice Memo App Has Hung Me Out To Dry

I'm using iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.2.
The Voice Memo app has failed to capture some really important audio. The app was running the entire time, but after I tapped "done" and it saved the audio, only about 2/3 of it was captured in the saved file.
This is unacceptable. Either fix it or just take it out of your iOS.
I can't seem to find the longer version of the recording anywhere in the phone. Does anyone have a way of digging this data out of the phone?

If you cannot see the file in the voice memo app, then there is no other way to explore the file system on the phone.

New voice search starts Google voice dialer instead of voice search app (fw 5.0.0.66)

I use Nexus 4 with Lollipop 5.1After upgrade I found that Sony released a new cool feature "Voice search" which should "forward search commands to phone's defaults voice search app".in facts when I hoold 2 sec on Volume Up button I see native ugly "Google voice dialer" instead of "Google voice commands".Is it behaviour by default? Hi! You can actually use a free APP name " BT GNow". Set it as default APP as the Samrtband talk search function. Then you can use Google Now. Millet

Three places:
1. Setings > General > Cellular is in the second block of access buttons.
2. Settings > General > About > Network tells what network you are on, and Carrier tells who your cellular service carrier is.
3. Settings > WiFi ON for wireless network access, then Choose a Network to select and attach to a wireless network.

Yahoo Voice Disconnecting

I recently purchased an iPod Touch, and downloaded the Yahoo app, it allowed me to use voice chat to other yahoo users, but recently it has started to disconnect me from the call shortly after making it. All the obvious solutions that I can think of I've eliminated, my internet connection is fine, my iPod is functioning normally aside from this issue, I don't have any sort of shake options enabled that would disrupt it. I've tried restarting, resetting, wiping my iPod clean. Downloading Yahoo via IM+ lite but that version doesn't support voice calls, I know there's a few other apps that may work but I like my Yahoo As a side question, what other apps are there that enable free voice chat to pcs? I think Skype, not sure what else. Thanks in advance for any helpful information.
PS. I'm not sure on my OS, but if you feel it's relavant I can find it out and post it later. However I tried updating it recently so I think it's at it's most modern version of what it can be.

I tried calling that IBM number, 1-800-426-7378 through Yahoo, and also through three other toll-free termination providers. If anyone wants to try it just put the below SIP numbers into Speed Dial memory slots in your ATA.

The first one, voipmich, seems to connect to the same IVR menu as when calling through Yahoo Voice, and I heard the woman's voice. The last two, sipphone and sipbroker, both connected me to a different IVR menu, it had a man's voice and DTMF IVR control worked there.
I thought it worth mentioning that IVR menu control did not work even when calling from a SPA2102 account configured with a Gizmo5.com account. Apparently, the IVR control issue is not only with Yahoo Voice.

Skype Out and Yahoo Voice

I have my Mac Pro and a Windows PC connected to my network thru an airport extreme in bridge mode. The main router is a Linksys. I can't seem to get my Skype Out or Yahoo Voice (the one that lets you call to real phone numbers in cheap rates).
When I connect to my router directly, it works just fine.
Any idea what could possibly happen?

I am not certain that this version of Yahoo Messenger has video chat.
There is a beta version out of Yahoo Messenger which has Mac OS X 10.3.9 as a minimum requirement:

It says it has webcam support, but I'm not sure which webcams may be included in that support.
Personally, I use Apple's iChat (which uses the AIM protocol) for instant messaging. iChat is included with Mac OS X 10.3.

Nokia Lumia 920 voice input problem with speaker o...

My voice input doesn't seem to pick up any sound while having the speakers on. The voice recognition doesn't work, it just says that i didn't hear anything. I'm having the same problem with soundhound, skype and turning speaker on while calling. Someone else having the same issue?

I have the latest Nokia update, and the latest Nokia system apps from the store, i've used the reset sometimes when my phone freezes but the problem's still there. Its really annoying.
I sent my phone on service about a month ago because of another issue, they said thet they changed the motherboard, and that's when this problem started to occur.
I've seen other people on the net with the same problem, but it looks like it's a rare problem.

why does it take NO LESS THAN THREE steps to get a new window? EVEN THEN, THERE IS NO MIC FOR VOICE INPUT OR SEARCH! That is the dumbest thing I've ever seen!

Your Android keyboard should have a mic button on it that you can long press to invoke the microphone for input. If not, you can try switching your keyboard to 'Google voice typing'.

What happened to my Voice Input option button

My microphone was present on my keyboard and now it's not. I go to Settings/Language and Input/etc. etc. This is the message next to VOICE INPUT option that is grayed out "no voice input methods enabled. check Lang and input settings". I downloaded the Google keyboard and the same problem exists.
Why did the microphone key disappear? I can't put it back by the methods I have found using Google Search because I don't have the VOICE INPUT option. This is ridiculous. I loved using the TTS option. Now I can't. I've only had my phone a few months.

Having the same problem on my 3Gs after upgrade.
The voice memos are NOT in iTunes but when the phone is connected to iTunes i can see and hear the voice memos on the iphone menu inside iTunes.
So it looks like the memos are still in the phone but somehow invisible... and now?

If you are using Safari as a web browser :-
Open Safari, go to Safari menu > Preferences > General, and put Google as the homepage. Then, choose Google as your default search engine.
If you are using Google Chrome as the web browser :-
Open Google Chrome.
In the top right corner of the page, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu > Settings.
In the "Search" section, select Google from the drop-down menu.

Apple's voice input options are the following:
Dictation
This allows you to speak a phrase and have the system enter it as text in any text field, be it a name and address form or a text editor like Pages or Word. The settings for this service are in the Dictation system preferences, and by default you activate it by pressing the Fn key twice in a row and then speak the desired phrase after you hear the bing sounds.
Speakable Items
This option allows you to somewhat control the Mac's interface elements by speaking key phrases to the system. This option is enabled in the Accessibility system preferences, and is at the bottom of the listed services. In here you can turn on the service and calibrate it to properly hear your voice, set a "listening key" (similar to the Fn key for Dictation), and then enable various command libraries.
