Yahoo website-the news feed doesn't scroll, it doesn't show 1-? articles and I cannot click on or to go to next five articles
On other computers in my house (not Windows 8), I can go to the Yahoo.com website and I can see the top news articles. It gives me a 1-# for how many articles there are. Then after a few seconds, the picture changes and it shows the next article. After the five articles are done, it scrolls and shows the next five. Or I can just click on the > button and go to the next articles. On my main (new) computer which has Windows 8 installed, I do not get the scroll and I cannot get to any articles other than the original top five that they show. I have a snapshot of it, but it doesn't look like there is anywhere here that I can upload it.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Does your phone show the correct time?
If not, change the time on your phone, see if it helps.
If it does, then sign out, sign back in. If that fails, the delete and reinstall. If that fails, then contact Facebook, as they're the developers of the app and will have the proper documentation to help you further. -
Cant turn around the Fb app to watch the news feed on the side
I have a problem with the facebook app on my Iphone 5, i cant watch the news feed on the side only with the phone "standing" same problem when im going to post a comment or satus uppdate. It dosent turn around som i get the full keybord. And I does not have the screen locked. Anyone else that have the same problem? Really anoying.
I have the same problem in reminders, cant turn the phone to get a full keybord and i do not like typing with the smal keyboard.I would have to agree, I access the Facebook site by going through the browser on my device. I'm not fond of the Facebook app at all because it's always updating and sometimes it doesn't function properly, but hey whatever floats your boat. Hope this helps!

what more details do you need? THE NEWS FEED on one's home page in FB... my browser has now locked up while typing a text comment to a friend at least 3 times.
Try trashing the cache and preference files. Go to User Name>Library>Cache and locate the Address Book cache folder and empty the contents. To delete the preference file go to User Name>Library>Preference. Delete the file "com.apple.addressbook.plist".

I just upgraded my mac book to 10.6.8 and downloaded the new version of itunes. When I try to open it and error message appears saying, "The iTunes Library file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the "iTunes" folder in the "Music" folder."
I have tried a few things but iTunes closes right after i click okay. Anyone know anything?Look in your Home > Music folder. There should be an iTunes folder there and it should have a number of files and folders including one called library.itl You want to guide iTunes to that file. If you don't see that file or folder then in your next post you will have to be very specific as to what you do see or how you have your iTunes set up because that's where it should be according to default settings.

I have loaded Lion on my MacBook and the new trackpad functions work only on one ordinary account or user and not on the admin account. The trackpad preferences are well set. What can I do?
iCloud should still help you reduce some hard drive space. Just select "optimize" in the icloud tab in Mac Photo App preferences.
Granted, not the same as completely offloading your library to a back-up drive at your location.

I use an Iphone 4 which had to be replaced recently. However when i did a backup it was on the new IOS version 7, but now that my phone was replaced and i am back on the old IOS version 6 i how do i restore my backup??

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Nope - you cannot restore a backup from a newer iOS version on to a device running an older iOS version. The reverse works, but in your case to use your backup, you must update to iOS 7.0.3 - no other option if you want to use that backup.

You have already seen that you cannot load the new iTunes into your 10.5.8, so as Neil says, you need Snow Leopard (current cost £14). And you'll probably need to update the disc you buy via the combo update, though that is free.
As far as the new iTunes is concerned, there's been a certain amount of grumbling so you may want to study the forums before you update. The main problem has been with album artwork which does not transfer easily. -
When I downloaded the new Firefox about a week or two ago all my bookmarks, and add-ons disappeared and I want you to give them back to me asap?
You shouldn't wait that long to ask advice. Firefox only keeps a (rotating) backup of bookmarks for the last 5 days that you started Firefox. So you may be out of luck.
You can check that you still use your old default profile that had your bookmarks.<br />

Your plan is generally OK, but I would suggest a different approach, since you're so frazzled by it.
1. Update iPhoto first; check and backup the iPhoto Library;
2. Upgrade to Yosemite; This will prompt you to migrate to Photos, but you don't have to do it, so don't!
3. iPhoto 9.6.1 will remain in your Applications folder and you can continue to use it;
4. Learn more about Photos, it's features and how iCloud Photo Library really works (for example, once you turn it on, you won't need to download manually);
5. When you do feel you know enough about Photos, only then launch it to migrate your photos; after migration your iPhoto Library remains fully functional, in case you want to revert to using iPhoto, so that part should not worry you.
Thet biggest issue you have is the small amount of free space. You might want to address tha first, or locate your new Photos Library on an external drive as well, and only move it to your local drive when it's been optimized (or keep it on an external). -
