Year ago, percentage of change from last year for a measure

Hello Experts,
I have a report which has year column and sales, revenue, profit and they are asking me to give a percentage of change of sales from the last year. Could you please help me how can i get it and the syntax for that. Please advise.

Hello RC,
You can use the AGO function to calculate the previous year figure.
This topic explains how to achieve it. the most important think here is that you must have a proper time dimension with a propoer chronological key.

It is a while mow since I used XP, I do not remember a 4 pointed star option for the cursor.
*Is this only on Firefox?
If other programs are affected it is something to do with Windows XP or software installed on that.
If it is only on Firefox then as an initial step try in Firefox's safe mode with all plugins disabled. You may start safemode by using
* Help -> Restart with addons disabled

Calculating a percentage of change from one day to the other

I'm working on a report that is grouped by date. What I'm trying to is calculate the difference between one day to the next. But when I try to do the formula it's thinks it's calculating against itself...
Group by Date: 9/1 = $100
9/2 = $80
Subtotal = =0.20%

Please give the formula details to check. I think you are not multiplied with 100 in your formula.

How to change the collecting interval for saposcol within the saphostexec

Hi,
we have installed the SAPHOSTAGENT package for 7.00 which includes also saposcol to start together with the saphostexec program. Now the collecting interval for saposcol is changed from 10s (default for saposcol) to now 60s.
How could we change this back to 10s ? Is there a parameter for the host_profile ?
I never found a list of available parameters for the saphostexec (host_profile).

In looking at my calendar for January, I found all the entries from last year. I thought I would delete the while month and start over, but it deleted all calendars from icloud. Can I get them restored and how. Stoormy

In looking at my calendar for next year I found all the entries from last year were there as well as a few more I intended to delete January and just start over but everything was deleted including from icloud, Any way I can get those restored.

We need the supporting documentation, guidance to change from a Fiscal year to a calendar year. Also please share your experience, suggestions, thoughts on this?
Currently, our year-end is SEP 30th, now there is a requirement to change the year end from SEP 30th to DEC 31st.

Calendar is already associated to the set of books and the budget year for 2011 is already opened in the Production instance
We entered the budget through a spreadsheet upload using ADI. We can roll back the budget and reenter if required
We have already gone through the metalink note IDs 102460.1, 134362.1, and also the below document from Oracle Support

Below are our open questions at this point
1) Can you please let us know what would happen if the transition closes on the middle of the month
Example: We will close the month end, year end at the end of the month but what would happen if we close at the middle of the month (say DEC 15th instead of DEC 31st)
2) Will it be short? From 1st October 2010 - 31st December 2010.
Or will it be long? From 1st October 2010 - 31st December 2011.
Can you please let us know the pros and cons for each of these?
3) According to the Metalink note Id 102460.1, the application will prevent you from making changes to calendar the unless you meet the following qualifications:
a) All the periods to be changed have a status of Never Opened.
This condition does not match to the current situation at the clients place as we don’t have the status "Never Opened" for any of the periods in the accounting calendar in
subledgers
b) A budget year that includes the periods to be changed is no t yet opened.
Budget year is already opened for the year 2011 at the clients placec) An encumbrance year that includes the periods to be changed is not yet opened.
“Encumbrance” is not applicable at the clients placed) The periods to be changed have not yet been copied from the GL Calendar to Project

Your best bet for a power adapter is to get one from Apple. Third-party adapters just don't seem to be reliable (or safe). You can also buy a replacement battery directly from Apple, of course, but they're a bit more expensive.

Yes, I did that. They have uppgrades for the dongles, but just untill Mac Os 10.7. Their solution is to buy a new modem from them or getting one for free if I sign a contract for 24 months! So, i think from that side not very helpful.
It is just that I do not want to buy a new modem, when it works in quite recent computers and after having spent money in the new Mac.

Soyouca how did you install Photoshop Lightroom? Please uninstall the current installation using the uninstaller located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.
Once Photoshop Lightroom is removed please download a fresh copy of the installation files from Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh. The update contains the full installer so please download the latest version of Photoshop Lightroom 5.

Copy fiscal year vairiant changes from R3 to SCM

Hello Gurus;
We have a requirement to change our fiscal year start and end dates for the current and future year. We are using program "RSIMPCUST" to copy changes in fiscal calendar from R3 to SCM.
My question is : Do we need to de-activate the demand planning area and then copy the Fiscal calendar changes and re-initilise and copy the data from back up cube Or we just have to copy the FY changes from R3 to SCM and re-initialize the DP planning area.

Why de-activate planning area ? - Because, we are making structural changes against which data already resides in planning area.
Now, before making changes, you need to plan the back up of data, make changes in FYV, and then load data into planning area with new FYV.
Before, you go about, please study below points and plan accordingly -
1) Changes in both fiscal year variant (Months & weeks)
2) Storage bucket profile
Importantly, note that when loading data from back up cube, make sure it is loaded at month and week level (i.e. u2013 exclude Fiscal variant bucket), as the fiscal variant bucket mapping to month and week will have changed awhen you try to load the data in planning area (post FYV changes). Hence, post data loading in planning area, it should appear against new FY buckets when viewed by user.
(Example u2013 Previously M1-W1-F1 = 10, M1-W2-F1 = 20, Hence, F1 = 30. After changes you make, say, M1-W1 as F1 and M1-W2 as F2, user should see F1=10 and F2-20).

or you download all vendor numbers from LFA1 table
then run MC$4 transaction for analyzing period of last 3 year.
download the vendor numbers from this report as well.
Finally compare the both download (easiest with VLOOKUP formula) to find the delta, which are the inactive vendors.
However, these are the inactive vendors from purchasing point of view only.
vendors like restaurants and customs and tax authorities may only have financial postings and never purchasing activities.
