Year Calendar
Hi,
I am trying to create, display a yearly calendar which each day Monday-Friday is a hyperlink to a another form.
When I try to create the calendar using a SQL Query, I get the error message ERR-1003 Error executing computation query. The query runs fine in SQL*Plus.
Can this calendar be created?
Thanks

Are you talking about timeline? If yes this is present in PSE10 as well. This option is present under Window->Timeline.

Each year for the past 5 years I make a family calendar and send copies to all he family members around the globe. I hate that I have to recreate all the birthdays and special occasions from scratch, and re-drag all the photos onto these dates, in the lower half of the page of each month on the new calendar. How can I create a new calendar for the current year and port all of these photos/comments into the new calendar from last years calendar, to save having to redo all this work!! I am not talking about the upper half page of the photos only...I am referring to the calendar page of each month.
Thanks in advance.
ColinWelcome to the Apple Discussions. Open iWeb so you see your original site in the left hand pane. Use the File->New Site menu option to create a new site. Give it the name you want.
Now select a page in your original site and type Command+D. That will duplicate the page. Drag the duplicate page down to the new site and rename it as needed. Do that for the other pages you need in the original site.

Search / Find in Year Calendar View
GW 2012 SP2
If I look at a calendar in Year view, I can see all the days that have
calendar entries (they're bolded)
If I want to find an appointment with 'Smith' in this view, I type it
into the Find field ...
However, there are no changes to the view - all calendar days still
show as bold
If I switch to Details view, the Find works fine
Is there a way for this to work in the Year Calendar View ?
SteveNot sure what the client's support status is on this .... will check -
perhaps SP3 will have this fix but who can wait for another year !!

Printing a yearly calendar with iCal?
I want to print a yearly calendar in both letter and half letter format with my iCal, how do I do that?
No, I don't see this option either... I've exhausted every option inside iCal and my advanced print settings.
The only other suggestion is to go to iCal and "provide iCal feedback" within the menu bar and request this feature.
I will do this as well.
In the meantime a workaround is:
Select "month view" in the print settings - select 12 months to print and select "ok".
Then your printer options will open up.
From there click the Layout drop down tab, and then select "16 pages" per sheet.
Then they will all print on 1 page... though the numbers are too small to really be deemed "legible".
You may want to mess around with zoom settings after you arrange 16 pages per sheet.
This is the only workaround to get "close" to what you want to do. -
Hello SAP Gurus,
Could you please take a look at the below fiscal year calendar and let me know if it looks correct. I am seeing a problem in my transferred assets when the are transferred in period 11. It's not calculating correctly. I am thinking is it could be because of the fiscal year calendar issues.

Config 4-5-4 Fiscal Year Calendar
Hi,
We are looking to use the Retail Calendar Fiscal Year which is 4-5-4 wk. I was wondering if someone out there could tell me how to config the 4-5-4 fiscal year variant in OB29. I have selected the Fiscal year indicator and enter 12 periods. I'm having a problem in the month/date/period. Every year the date will change. Thank you in advance.Hi
The full config for year 2007 April to 2008 March is given below. Only the additiong I am trying to make here is though the periods are ending at different dates, you must specify the last day of the calendar year i.e., 31st Dec in addition to all the others you do. Check at config for Dec. especially wherein you can understand.
1 26 10 -1
3 1 11 -1
3 29 12 -1
4 28 1 0
6 2 2 0
6 30 3 0
7 28 4 0
9 1 5 0
9 29 6 0
10 27 7 0
12 1 8 0
12 29 9 0
12 31 10 0

I updated my iPad last week. Now when I go to the year view it doesn't highlight any events. It just shows the months with nothing highlighted. This used to be extremely helpful for looking at a glance what days I had available. Is there a fix to this problem? Using the monthly calendars is not a solution for me.
i forgot to tell: wehn i plug in the dvi to hdmi adapter, the screen turns blue for perhaps one second (which is a good sign i think), but after that it doesn't recognize my tv (which is a bad sign i think).
thank again, mates! -
I am looking for a yearly one page (A2 or poster) wall planner (portrait) in Indesign. I have searched all over and cannot find such a beast. I want to be able to annotate birthdays on the calendar so I can look at a one page poster and see who's birthday is coming up. I have made these up in excel before but they lack the polish I could create in Indesign. I have seem some that a year at a time, with no room to add any text or notes, others are landscape style, most are just time wasting links to buy windows based software.
Ideally, I would like to generate a new calendar each year from a list of names and dates, to save manually annotating each name/s to a date every time.
Can work with other formats like Photoshop, Illustrator etc. Would like a mac OSx solution. I currently have a script that will generate a Indesign calendar, but is a month per page and I want a page with 12 months. Hopefully not a block of 12 months of dates only.
Any help, greatly appreciatedThanks all for your suggestions and ideas, but as yet, i still have not found what I am looking for. The Calendar script will place 12 monthly calendar pages on a single page, but it effectively just shrinks the monthly layout and then squeezes 12 on a page. This is not really what I wanted. I wanted something more like a wall planner, that I could annotate in friends and family birthdays, Holidays, etc. A script that would let me choose various size frames, or simply fill the CS3 ID frame, I could then add color or photos to borders etc. The wizard does not do this, maybe the author of the script could modify the script to accommodate?

I also need a calendar that only shows each month in the year, I thought I had my script perfect, but it gives me an entry for each day in the month. I only want ONE month per year...
Declare @begin DateTime, @end DateTime
Select @begin = '2013-01-01', @end = '2014-12-31'
Create Table MonthYear
(Year Int, Month varchar(1000))
While @begin <= @end
Begin
Insert Into dbo.MonthYear (Year, Month)
Select DatePart(yy, @begin) As Year,
DateName(MM, @begin) As Month
Set @begin = DateAdd(Day, 1, @begin)
EndWhat about changing this line:
Set @begin = DateAdd(Day, 1, @begin)

IPhone Leap year calendar issues anyone?
Is anyone having a problem with scheduling meetings in outlook for February 29th and then they show up on the iPhone as March 1st instead? Is there something that is not configured right because of leap year?
I have a reoccurring appoint that happens every wednesday. But I noticed yesterday that it put that appointment on Tuesday - Feb 28th instead of Feb 29th. When you open up the event it says:
"Tuesday, 28 Feb, 2012
from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
repeats every week on Wednesday"
I'm quite sure I didn't add a single instance of this event on the Tuesday. I'm a software developer and took a guess that the weekly event falling on Feb 29th of a leap year was the most likely culprit of this bug.
Note that I used the iCloud control panel to push out my events from Outlook to iCloud a couple of weeks ago. So the logic error could be in that software. Or in Outlook, or in Google (as I used to synch my google calendar to outlook before going to iCloud). But I doubt it was caused by Outlook or Google calendar. No proof of that, just my gut feeling. -
I am working on a project where the user enters a year. The string is then converted into an int and goes through a series of tests to see if it is a leap year or not. The problem I am having is when the user inputs letters when they are supposed to enter numbers. This gives the "java.lang.NumberFormatException" error. I used the try and catch code to make the user re input a year, but how do you make that into a loop. I want to make it so if the user keeps putting in letters, the computer keeps asking for numbers.
this is my code so far:
import javax.swing.JOptionPane; //import this at top
public class finding_the_leap_year {
public static void main(String[]args){
int year = 0;
{color:#ff0000}
try{
String inputValue = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Input a year");
year = Integer.parseInt(inputValue);
catch(java.lang.NumberFormatException ex){
while(????????????????????){
System.out.println("Please enter a year");
String inputValue = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Input a year");
year = Integer.parseInt(inputValue);
} }{color}
if(year % 4 == 0)
System.out.println(year + " is a leap year.");
if(year % 100 == 0)
if(!(year%400==0)){
System.out.println(year + " is a leap year.");
else{
System.out.println(year + " is not a leap year.");

Edited by: chibioj on Sep 29, 2007 12:51 PMPut more in the while loop. I sometimes use a boolean value such as dataValid or inputValid and set it to false. I only set it to true if the input entered is ok. It is set to true in the try block but AFTER the data is obtained and parsed. The code will only reach that line if the input is valid.
String inData = "";
boolean dataValid = false;
while (!dataValid) // while we don't have a correct answer yet
try
inData = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Input a number");
if (inData != null) // if they didn't press the cancel button
year = Integer.parseInt(inData);
dataValid = true; // won't get here if numberformatexception tripped
catch (java.lang.NumberFormatException ex)
JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "You didn't enter a valid year. Please try again.");
if (inData != null) // if cancel button not pressed on input dialog
if (......Also, you have some logic errors in the rest of your code that need fixing.

Hi,
The SAP system runs with 2 co codes in production under the same controlling area. Now we want to add a new co code and separate controlling area but on the same production client - Same box. As annual clsoing works and production start up works are more it is decided to cut short the last period of production co codes by 2 weeks.
. To achieve that we want to close the year for the existing system 2 weeks ahead to have breather to take off the new co code on board.
Is it possible to reduce the exisitng Fiscal year - last period from 4 weeks to 2 weeks so that the transactions of th 2 weeks pushed to new fiscal year.
What i can think is the Fiscal year variant has to be different for the new and old co codes.( cant use the same)
Appreciate yr experience and thought process to get a resolution.
Thanks ,

Hi Experts,
Our client wants to change the period end dates and keep the variant as it is in this month (Fisacal year Jan to Dec). Some postings were done in Jan and Feb.
Is the right time to change the periods now ?
Is there any adverse effects with this change ?
What is the right time to change ?
If client is very particular about change, what are the SAP notes to be followed ?
Regards
MadanHi,
let me know how your fiscal year defined?
If it is Apr to Mar, posting happing during Jan & Feb should have been done in posting period 10,11
If you are going to change your posting period to calender year i.e. Jan to Dec, , then posting in Jan & feb will be period 1 & 2
Thanks,Surya
