Year transfer errors

Hi all,
I'm trying to achieve a year transfer in SBO2007A SP1 PL05 and the base language and settings are Netherlands.
I have 2 problems:
1. When I do the first step of the year transfer, I constantly get the error that the document numbering can't be transferred, because it already exists :S ???
2. When I go further with the steps and then the system transfers all the masterdata and the initial settings (but not the document numbering offcourse). The system doesn't transfer transactions or documents or balances....
Can anybody help me with this? What am I doing wrong?

Try to mention last number for all document types in numbering series in previous fiscal year.

Which localization are you working on? As far as I know the year end transfer is only supported on specific localizations, like Israel. Not sure if this has changed over the last year.

Year Transfer

I am using SAP 2005A Patch level 29 and I have successfully done a transfer using the Year transfer on UK localizations. I got an error on the balances transfer section though but I didn't get deep into the cause of the error, all other sections worked fine however.
Is the localization limited to the balances section only or could there be more errors than I can see at this time and will probably come up over time. Or alternatively could I just be lucky ?
Has anyone else used the year transfer on localisations other than Israeli and Netherlands and had successful results ?

Hi Martin,
as you know, the year transfer functionality is only supported for Israel & the Netherlands. The problem you encounter (& many others) is common in localisations other that those. A database that has been created with YT in another localisation will not be supported by SAP & I strongly recommend not to use this functionality in a UK database.
Should you need to rebuild a 'clean' database, you can use the copy express add-on, which SAP provides free of charge with the other supported add-ons. All settings, master data, templates etc can be copied into the new db & open documents can easily be transferred using the DTW.

Year Transfer on SAPB1 2007A

Please can anyone tell me how to enable Year Transfer on SAP B1 2007A? I understand that its meant for Netherlands and Israel but is there anyway i can install 2007A PL30 and enable it.
OR how best can i transfer GL Acct & BP Balances and Open Docs to a new Database?

Year Transfer with Custom Stored Procedures

When "Year Transfer" is started, none of Custom (Handmade, User Defined) Stored Procedures are transferred. How to correct that?

Purchase order transfer error

Hi experts,
i have a PO with a single service position. The order was correctly transferred to backend system.
Before GR, i modify PO decrementing quantity (so also price), but i receive backend transfer error "price error will become negative - BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER".
Does anyone know why?

1- What is your SRM and ECC release and patch level ?
2-What is the price in the backend PO before you try to change SRM PO ?
3-Are you using inforecord or contract price conditions ?

1 - Our SRM is SRM 4.00, we have SP9 release.
2 - initial PO qty 674, price 51.150,90
after mod. PO qty 565, price 41.286,20
3 - no inforecords, no contract price. The price was inserted into line position of service item.

Transfer errors when using Napster to Go servi

Recently napster have updated their software and now all of a sudden i am getting transfer errors when i try putting track on my creative zen micro photo 8gb. Has anybody else been experiencing this?
I wondered whether its a napster issue or whether by some strange conincidence my player has become faulty. any thoughts?

I've seen this problem before, but its not a common one.
But just making sure, have you downloaded the 2 hotfixes listed <a href='http://us.creative.com/support/kb/article.asp?l=2&sid=793' target=_blank>here[/url]?. Try that then resync all your songs. Formatting the player is the best step to take, however if you dont have the time then you can just delete the subscription ones and transfer them again once you apply these hotfixes, but formatting would be the best way to go.
It could be a licensing thing that is giving the harddri've/cpu trouble with reading it. Or some other unknown issue. What player does your friend have?Message Edited by DM on --2005 0:40 AM

I have a problem in transaction FS10N, when i am trying do execute appear the error: No data read for fiscal year 2006 (error FDBL020), i tried applying the note 302263 (deleting the attributes of programs)but the attributes has been deleted. Anybody know a solution ?

File Transfer Error Between Ichat 2.1 and Ichat 3

I am trying to send my brother some files. He has an Ibook G4 and so do I. He is running Ichat 3 on Tiger and I am running Ichat 2.1. Both of us are using a wireless connection through our own personal cable modems. He can send me files and I can accept them and get them without problems. Every time I try to send him a file, before it starts, we get an error 'File Transfer Error' file name not transferred.
He says he has no problems receiving files from other buddies of all different types of operating systems.
I don't recall having any problems sending or receiving from any of my other buddies either.
Is this just an OS X.3 vs OS X.4 issue? Or is there something weird with my Ibook?

Can your brother send files to other people.
It sounds like it might be his end.
File Transfers happen on Port 5190 on the UDP protocol.
Some modems and router have problems if they have to list Protocols when Port Forwading.
Is this the case for him ?

It does look like a problem with the server. You might try the latest version of JavaMail.
It may not work any better, but it may give better diagnostics when it fails.
Also, check the logs on the server to see if it has more information.

Creative cloud error on apps, transfer error

Hi, on my mac book I deletet som files on now when I want to reinstall Creative cloud i get the message on the app " transfer error"

Corollary to the Year Transfer Tool Exist for US SAPB1 Users?

I need to create a new version of a company database and I need to carry over all the functional data from the old company with the exception of Business Partners, Sales Orders, Delivery Notes, and Invoices.
    Is there something like the Year Transfer Tool that I can use for this task?
    We are essentially reconfiguring the way we do accounts receivable so we need to bring over inventory and accounts payable (and other things, many of which I can't enumerate right now) but not the stuff that has to do with customers, orders and invoices.
    Has anyone ever done anything like this?
    I've read warnings in the support portal about the YTT that advise against using it if you're not in the Netherlands or Israel.
    I've also looked at using the Export/Import functionality in B1 but it doesn't look like that functionality allows us to bring in inventory data.

Given the situation, and the need to bring only selective data over I think Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) can be a good handy tool.
I am not sure what other things you would like to bring over since you are reconfiguring some of the functionality.
You might be already aware of some of the Other Addon tool like Copy Express, etc.

Transfer Error, when saving Java Objects to database

I'am getting this error "Transfer Error" when I try to save a java object (an image) to a database (jDatastore 6). Iam using a jdbc to conect to the database here is the code I am using.

Ya it's a bit of weard one. No no the image is now in an array when you need to creat a new imge you generate an image from the array.
