why does a yellow box always appear after completeing a search or after i have clicked on a link. it is kind of annoying having a yellow box thee all th time

- do you need more RAM? (run Activity Monitor and see how much free RAM - green - is available)
- do you Restart fairly regularly, e.g. at least once a week, to clear out any swap or temporary files?
- do you need to do maintenance, e.g. clearing out caches and unused logs, etc?

Says sent box full all the time - but it is empty - cannot refer to any sent emails

when I write an email and send- it says sent box is full - I have compacted numerous times but no joy.

I have 299 messages in sent now as have deleted alot bnad it say 4GB? inbox over 6000 and only 1.25 GB.

So your settings say:
IMAP mail acount:
selected: 'Place a copy in'.
selected: 'Other' and 'Sent on Local Folders.'
This means that although you use an imap account you are not saving the sent items on the server with all your other emails. Instead you are saving them in Local Folders on your computer.
Try this.
* Right click on the Sent Folder in Local Folders.
* select 'Properties'
* 'General Information' tab - click on 'Repair Folder'
* click on OK
* click on the small black arrow to the left of 'Local Folders' to collapse the Local folders tree.
* Then click again to open the Local Folder tree so that you can see all the folders again.
* Select / highlight all sent emails. (Ctrl+A); they should appear as 'conversations' in the Message Pane.
* Archive those emails - click on 'Archive' button. The emails should appear in the Local Folders Archive folder. Your Sent folder should now appear empty.
* Then right click on Sent folder in Local Folders and select 'compact'.

Progress bar in the portal does not appear all the time when loading

I have a dashboard in EP, when I click on it the majority of the time a progress bar appears when it is loading. Some time it does not, the page just appears to be doing nothing, then the dashboard will appear.
Any one else seen this issue?

The bar that says "File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, help" has disappeared and I would like it to appear all the time.

Near the top of the screen on the left side, the words "File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, help" does not appear consistently. Sometimes if I hit "alt" they will appear. I would like to keep those words to appear constantly. Let me know what I can do. Thanks

I saw a couple of other discussions in the Community, but didn't see an answer anywhere? I am putting my logo (jpg, 283kb) with Text in my header and while it appears when designing in FormsCentral, when I save as PDF it doesn't appear when viewing in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI

This is more than likely an issue with the color profile in the image you used not being supported by the PDF - this FAQ describes the issue and ways to fix it:

Hi I am experiencing issues with my mac , the colourful spinning ball is appearing all the time, more so when I am trying to view and upload images for editing . This has only happened in the last few weeks. Would really appreciate some advice please .

Can any one tell me what is wrong. I read where when the yellow light was flashing there was a problem, but I am a novice at this and have no idea where to turn. It seems to be backing up on a regular basis.

On the Mac......
Open up Macintosh HD > Applicatons > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the Time Capsule icon, then click Edit in the small window that appears
Click the Network tab at the top of the next window
Change the setting for Router Mode from the current DHCP and NAT to read Off (Bridge Mode), then click Update at the lower right of the window, and wait a full minute for the Time Capsule to restart to a green light.
Then.....very important
Power off the Time Capsule and your Arris modem/router for a few minutes
Start up the Arris first, and let it run a few minutes by itself
Start up the Time Capsule next the same way
Your network will now be correct, and your printing capabilities will improve.
If Time Machine backups do not occur now, post back and we will tackle that next.

Did the original songs that do not appear on the car player play in the Music app on the iPod? Sometimes glitches happen and they do not. Hi,
This sounds like it is about Window positions.
iChat has Default places for Incoming Invites.
Video is always top Center of your Screen
Audio and Text chats are Upper right with the Audio slightly lower than Text Chats.
Secondary invites are sort of Stacked like when you open multiple files from the same App.
Your outgoing Windows are "Remembered" as to where the last one was when you used it.
This can be an issue if you use your Mac with a second display and turn Off Mirroring.
You windows can get "left" on the other screen.
Go to System Preferences > Displays and turn On Mirroring and the windows should come back to one Screen/display.
If this does not help go to your Home Folder/Library/Preferences and delete (Drag to Trash) com.apple.ichat.plist and restart iChat.
Unfortunately you will need to reset any iChat Preferences you have changed from defaults.
