Yellow/Green Cast in Photoshop CS6 After Calibrating Retina Display

I am using a MacBook Pro with Retina display, and Color Eyes Display Pro with the Color Eyes to calibrate my screen. It is working perfectly, except, that when I open Photoshop (or even the Adobe updater now), the whole screen goes bright Green / Yellow! See the photo attached, it's quite nuts and give you a headache after a few seconds of looking at it. I have tried turning of the GPU processing thinking it would be conflicting with that, and a dozen other small attempts to get rid of it, and nothing! I finally am back at the default calibraiton for the Retina display, and it's not that bad, but still obviously not calibrated. I can't for the life of me find anyone else who has this issue, am I crazy?

Okay, so, I really only posted that because I figured maybe in the future someone else would run into the same problem. I found the solution! Color Eyes Display Pro spits out the ICC profile as a version 4 and LAB based 16 bit file. Turns out that isn't compatible somehow (would love and Adobe tech to answer why for me, is it GPU or something else bugging out here?). Thankfully, there is an option in Color Eyes Display Pro to change it. I changed it to "Matrix Based" instead, and voila! Here's a screenshot of where that option is, just click on "Profile Setting" and change the second drop-down to Matrix Based. ICC v2 didn't work for me either, whole program crashed.

Viewing Photoshop CS6 on a retina display help!

How do you view Photoshop CS6 13.0.4 in low resolution on a macbook pro retina display? I have tried opening CS6 in applications> get info> under general there is no option to open in low resolution as there is in Lightroom.

Perhaps it would be helpful if you would describe why you want to do so. What's not working for you?
I'm not a Mac user, but if there's an underlying problem that could be worked-around by changing the way you're using Photoshop maybe that could be an alternate solution for you.

Well, a few months ago Adobe promised the Retina update would be out before year-end...
And now the latest is, it looks like it could be out as soon as December 11th - so here's hoping.

Cannot use PhotoShop CS6 after trial expired, even after purchasing Creative Cloud Student Edition

I had PhotoShop CS6 trial, which expired.
I have purchased Creative Cloud student edition, I receive a message that my PhotoShop trial has expired.
I am prompted to purchase the product to extend it, or type in the product's serial number
(I never received a serial number.)
I paid for Creative Cloud and have an order number, I should not be having this issue.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled PhotoShop CS6 multiple times, I also use DreamWeaver and am fearful that I will encounter the same issue. How can I use the Photoshop CS6 after I have paid for it?

I purchased the Cloud Yesterday, also 2 weeks ago Monday 10/15/2012.
I purchased it twice thinking 1 purchase did not complete.

Does Photoshop work well with retina display?

I am returning a PC notebook because Photoshop UI is too tiny for practical use with hi res PC notebooks (crazy, but very true) . Before I buy an Apple (Macbook Pro), can someone please confirm that Photoshop works well with retina display monitors? I need reassurance before I waste my time and money on another laptop. Adobe has already cost me hundreds in restocking fees for a notebook Photoshop will not support.

Im hoping to clear up some confusion with regards to Retina display support in Photoshop CS6. In December, Adobe released Photoshop update version 13.0.3 (for Mac perpetual customers) and version 13.1.1 (for Creative Cloud members, Mac and Windows). So, if you have PSCS6 – through either the perpetual (“box copy”) or Adobe Creative Cloud membership (“subscription”), and you run the updater, you will have Retina support. Here’s how to get the update:
1. In Photoshop, choose Help > Updates.
2. The Adobe Application Manager will launch. Select Adobe Photoshop CS6 and choose Update.
How to confirm that the Update worked
1. In Photoshop, choose Help > About Photoshop (Win), or Photoshop > About Photoshop (Mac)
2. For Mac perpetual customers, the version at the top should be Version: 13.0.3
3. For Win/Mac Creative Cloud members, the version at the top should be Version: 13.1.1

You can believe what you like, but it won't change the truth.
CS6 is a Cocoa application, and Retina support requires Carbon (or the other way around, I'm a Windows user). It's not a matter of adding a few lines of code to make the change, it required rewriting the entire program from the ground up.

Problem with scanning in Photoshop CS6 after upgrading to Mountain Lion

After upgrading to latest version of Mountain Lion i've got a problem with scanning directly into Photoshop CS6.
on the previous Lion version when I wanted to scan something, i just opened Photoshop -> File -> Import -> images from device
then a new window opened up the ImageCapture app where I could choose the device I wanted to use, and then I selected the scanner (Canon CanoScan 8400F) and I could scan directly into photoshop.
Now with Mountain Lion when I do the exact same thing, it opens a window, but it's impossible to select any device, as the new window is just a plain white window, with 2 buttons on top to rotate something that isn't there. (text is in dutch, cause I'm from the Netherlands)
hope someone can help me out.
I can scan with the use of the ImageCapture app without problems and then save that picture and open it in Photoshop, but it has worked before, so am I doing something wrong? or is this just a little bug

I’m having the same problem with my Epson Perfection 3200 Photo scanner and Adobe Photoshop CS6. It does the initial overview scan then I get the same blank window as BigNoud shows above. I've done a Software Update and have also updated OSX to 10.8.1.
I know for the Epson you can get a Mountain Lion compatible scan software from SilverFast for about $35.00 as an upgrade here.
I haven't gone that route yet as I don't want to give up any more money for my Apple/Adobe experience.
Any help would be appreciated.

How do I re-install Photoshop CS6 after doing a Windows 8.1 REFRESH? Lightroom and Topaz installed great but not Photoshop

I have my Photoshop CS6 Serial number and thought it would be easy to re-install software. Message says my serial number is VALID but not for this version of software.

Edit in Photoshop CS6 - after saving, file ends up in a seperate directory in Library module but ...

I'm getting this really annoying thing when I edit and save a file in Photoshop CS6 from Lightroom. After I save and return to LR4.2 in Windows Explorer it puts the TIFF in the same directory next to the original RAW file as it should, however in the Library module it gets a different entry. So I end up with the same directory listing with the photocount 1 next to it. It also doesn't show up in the main directory where all the other files are, it's not next to the originel RAW.
I can do "show parent folder" until the point I get to the root directory which then gives me an error message which says
Anyone know why this occurs?

Is reverting back to photoshop CS6 after a CC subscription possible ?

I am considering to use to subscribe to the photoshop CC + lightroom 5 offer. I have a full photoshop CS6 lisence so I can use this offer.
If for some reason I decide to stop my subscription after a year can I still revert back to my photoshop CS6 perpetual license ? Or do I lose the right to do this once I subscribe to creative cloud?
I realize that in practice there might be compatibility issues with files I modified with photoshop CC, when i want to open them in the "old" cs6, but my question is about the license only.

Green shadows when scrolling text after calibration

Hello, I'm having strange screen behavior after calibrating it (I'm using Spyder 3 hardware with both its own software and ColorEyes DisplayPro).
What happens is that when the screen is correctly calibrated I get annoying green shadows when I'm scrolling text. This actually happens whenever there's a "moving-high contrast" situation (for example, if i'm opening a folder and screen pixels change luminance quickly) and of course in a multitude of different applications.

As you may notice, when I choose the standard color profile (uncalibrated) the behavior disappears (0:32 in the video). When I revert to the calibrated profile it comes back.
I think something might be wrong with my screen (which, by the way, is out of its applecare warranty since two weeks ago...).

Does this still happen if you run Firefox in Safe Mode?
