Yellow line on the left hand side of my screen iphone 4 after 18 months why has this occured whats the soloution?
I have had my iphone 4 for 18 months on contract..I have had no problems at all up until the begining of this month. The first issue was that the home button, double click issue wasn't working too well. I read that their was a way to calibrate the button which I had done ( please note this does not include opening up the phone) and I noticed that it works much better. However lately I have noticed that I have a yellow tint, line vertical on the left hand side of the screen. It is very faint when I wake my phone but then gets darker and darker.
I have read that people have noticed this on buying their new iphones however mines has just appeared. my contract is up in 6 months so I'm not keen on spending extra on the phone is there anything else I can do?
Try the basics from the manual. Restart, reset, restore.

Iphone 5 icon doesn't display on the left hand side of iTunes screen.

When I have my dock set to the left-hand side of my screen, Firefox maximizes to all but a small sliver of space on the left hand side. Is there a way to change the default maximized window parameters (in about:config or something), or is there an add-on that will allow you to do it?

How do I move my tabs back to the left hand side of the screen?
Until today, all of my open tabs have appeared in a top to bottom column running down the left hand side of my screen, which works great.
When I logged in a few minutes ago, the tabs appeared for the first time in a horizontal row running across the bottom of the screen. I would like to reposition the tabs list to its original orientation and location. How do I do that?That is not a built-in option in Firefox, you must have an add-on that has added that capability. There are several add-ons that can move the tab bar, check your installed add-ons to see if one of them has that option.

Hi all,
Please help, I repaired an iphone 5c and have now tried two different lcd screens on it but all I get is a black screen or a black screen with a vertical blue line on the left hand side of the screen. I definitely have the cables connected properly etc and before I repaired it the phone had a cracked screen and there was a picture on it.
I have tried hard reset and nothing. I have tried connecting to iTunes but it asks me to confirm on the iPhone which I can't do as there is nothing on the display. I have tried randomly pressing all over the screen but it doesn't work. So I can't even try restoring it on iTunes.
Please help any advice will be appreciated! I successfully have repaired iphone 4's and iphone 5 before but this is the first iphone 5c.

I have a red line on the left hand side of my Macbook Pro screen
I have a Macbook pro 15" 2012 model with a red/turquoise line which appeared the day before yesterday on the right hand side of my screen....i have plugged in a monitor to see if it appeared on that monitor too and it hasnt? What could be causing this and is it expensive? Please can anyone help? I have tried all the tests on different apple forums resettting the memory and the board and nothing has worked....it did disappear but has come back permanently now. I've only had the Mac for over 16 months so as you can tell not impressed!! I have a macbook air late 2010/2011 and never had any problems apart from the magsafe adapter!!! Adobe Acrobat XI add line numbering on left hand side
In Adobe Acrobat XI were is the option to add line numbering on the left hand side of the page for documents?
If it is a Word document that you used to create the PDF, Then Word has the ability to show line numbers.
Two methods:
Layout Tab on Ribbon click in Line Numbers.
From Main Menu choose format Menu > Document > Layout. Click Linember button and set up as desired.
Then create your PDF.
Note this is shown using a Mac. But the same thing is in The PC version as well. -
I updated my Numbers for Mac only to find out that there are several changes that make it less appealing for me so far (and I don't think it's only the learning curve). Questions: a) can I somehow edit the location of where I can find all the sheets (right now they are on top of the page, and you can't see all of them listed at quick glance but must scroll/arrow through them) I have in that spreadsheet? In the previous version they were all easy access on the left hand side.
Or b) can one go back to a previous version of a program somehow?

On my machine I just hit shift-command-j (the keyboard shortcut I assigned in System Preferences) and a list of the sheets in the current document pops up:
I type a number from the list and jump immediately to that sheet. The hands never have to leave the keyboard.
(This particular document had a sheet named for each month. But the sheets in your document automatically will be listed instead.)
This is done via a Jump to Sheet Automator Service (Dropbox download). To install just doubleclick the .workflow package and (if needed) click 'Download Anyway' in System Preferences > Privacy & Security.
Installation will cause a new item to appear in your Numbers > Services menu. Then, if you want a keyboard shortcut, go here in System Preferences and add one:
You can rename or remove the service by holding down the option key in Finder and choosing Go > Library > Services. You can also view the AppleScript contaned within the service by opening the .workflow package in Automator.
Note, also, that in Numbers 3 you don't have to use those left-right arrows upper right to slowly scroll left-right to the sheets that are out of view. Just move your cursor up to the "band" with the "tabs" and drag left or right. That's much faster than using the arrows.

Hi I have an ipod shuffle which worked well on my old pc but since i have tried to link it with my new laptop I cant get it to sinc. I have athorised the device to my laptop so i thought it maybe worth resetting it but all the info I have read tells me that to reset my ipod i need to open i tunes and on the left hand side in the 'source panel' i will find my ipod listed but when i open itunes i do not have a source panel so i cant reset it. i have spent days trying to get this problem sorted and am about to throw the thing away. I have tried to manually sinc the thing, i have installed and reinstalled the latest version of itunes, i have restarted my laptop but i dont know what to do next. any help would be very much appreciated. However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

This window looks weird: there are 2 blue bars(the upper blue bar - normally there is 1, with the current page name and - Mozilla Firefox written in white inside of the bar) plus in the 2nd bar there is an orange firefox button, on the left hand side.
I have already asked this question and was adviced to start in safe mode - this did not help either.
Please help me quickliy, it is really annoying.

Before the Firefox 29.0 upgrade, I had my bookmark list constantly displayed on the left-hand side of the Firefox screen. How can I get that in version29.0?
Right now I have to click on the bookmark button and then on Bookmark menu to get to see my bookmarks. I want them permanently "pinned" to the left-hand side of the screen. I want to sync my claendars from my IPhone 3 G to my IMac which I have just upgraded to version 10.6.3
the IPhone doesn't show up on the left hand side of ITunes when I open it.
It opens in IPhoto though.
Do I have to upgrade my operating system even further on my computer or is it the phone.
Driving me crazy. Just don't want to lose my calendars that I have on my phone.
