Yellow Traffic Lights in Authorizations

I will like to know if there is a report were I can obtain all specific roles with the yellow light on.

I do not know of a report but you could try:
In SE16, select table AGR_1251
Enter your role selection in AGR_NAME
In the 'low' field value (don't know exactly what it's called and no system right now) go to the special selection screen and enter * in the "exclude single value" tab.
Roles with yellow traffic lights are those with empty fields in the auths.
To find red traffic lights (empty org values) do the same with table AGR_1252

How to delete request in yellow traffic light?

Hi experts:
I created one infopackage yesterday to load the vendor text from our DEV source system. Its update mode is "Initialize Delta Process". When I right click on the infopackage and select manage, I see this request is still in yellow and 'Request has a yellow traffic light in the monitor - Cannot be deleted.' And when I go to Data selection I got the information: "Init. select. for field name currently running in request ***".
Does anybody know how to delete the request still in running or in yellow traffic?
Another thing is when I double click on the infopackage a warning message will pop up with: " Assign a language field to IOBJ 0LANGU; danger of short dump". Do I need to take care of this warning?

Hi,
Make the request forcefully into RED and then delete it, you can do it in RSMO or goto Obejct and Manage and then Click on YELLOW color Ball and then it will popup one window there make to red and delete it.
The reasons for Yellow
Check the DataSource in RSA3, if it is working fine and able to see the data in RSA3, there is no problem in DS level, then checl the Mappings and any routines in BW for that DS, if this is also fine then check the below options.
See Dumps in ST22, SM21 also.
Check RFC Connection between ECC and BW systems, i.e. RSA1-->Source System->Right Click on Source system and Check.
You must have the following profiles to BWREMOTE or ALEREMOTE users.So add it. Bcoz either of these two users will use in background to get extract the data from ECC, so add these profiels in BW.
S_BI-WHM_RFC, S_BI-WHM_SPC, S_BI-WX_RFC
And also check the following things.
1.Connections from BW to ECC and ECC to BW in SM59
2.Check Port,Partner Profiles,and Message Types in WE20 in ECC & BW.
3.Check Dumps in ST22, and SM21.
4.If Idocs are stuck i.e see the OLTP Idoc numbers in RSMO Screen in (BW) detials tab see in bottom, you can see OLTP Idoc number and take the Idoc numbers and then goto to ECC see the status in WE05 or WE02, if error then check the log else goto to BD87 in ECC and give the Idoc numbers and execute manually and see in RSMO and refresh.
5.Check the LUWs struck in SM58,User Name = * (star) and run it and see Strucked LUWs and select our LUW and execute manually and see in RSMO in BW.

ME23N restrict IDOC creation and keep traffic light yellow

Hi,
I have a requirement in which I need to restrict the EDI IDOC if there are errors in the PO. Also as the IDOC is not created the messages (type NEU) should remain with the yellow traffic light as the IDOC is not processed. What would be the best approach to keep the traffic light yellow , I have identified the point to restrict IDOC creation but the traffic light is set to red.

Yellow light in Output type shows its Not Processed. If you are talking about exits EXIT_SAPLEINM_002/EXIT_SAPLEINM_011 they come into picture when Output type processing started. So ultimately they will have either Success/Error status.
Even by setting sy-msgty = 'W' in EXIT_SAPLEINM_002 and raising exception will not help.
You can play around with FMs mentioned in group WMCP and can check.

Standard S_TCODE object showing Yellow trafic light

Hi All,
Recently I have noticed standard s_tcode object is showing Yellow traffic light (Not fully maintained) in one of the role in ECC6 system. I have tried to maintain by clicking on change button which usually doing with other objects and got succeeded to do modifications.
I have downloaded that role and uploaded in to another ECC6 system and observed that s_tocde is in green color and not allowed me to modify it as usual.
As per my knowledge standard s_tocde object is not modifiable but we can modify manually inserted s_tcode object.
Please advice.

What happens if you delete the role in your original system and re-upload and generate?
I have tried that one also but getting same problem.
propably the SU24 entries have been changed (for field S_TCODE) since the last mergeing of authorization data....

How?

Traffic Lights can be defined.
You can use the exception groups to define under which conditions materials are indicated by red, yellow, or green traffic lights. Example: You want all materials, whose dates lie in the past, to be indicated by a red traffic light.
The definition of traffic lights applies to both types of list.
Prerequisites-
You have accessed the material list in collective access, or the MRP list or stock/requirements list for a material.
In case of individual lists: you have displayed the material tree.
Procedure
1. Choose Green Dot
The system displays the Define traffic light dialog box.
2. Enter the number of workdays for the parameters Days' supply, 1st receipt days' supply and 2nd receipt days' supply, and under which circumstances the materials are to be displayed with red, yellow, and green traffic lights.
You want the traffic light to be red when the days' supply for a material is <= 0, yellow when the days' supply is > 0 and <= 10 days, and green when the days' supply is > 10 days.
Enter:
Color     Days supply
Red        0
Yellow     10
Green      999,9
4. Use the exception groups to define under which conditions materials are indicated by red, yellow, or green traffic lights.
You want materials with exception messages in exception group 4 to be indicated by a yellow traffic light and materials with exception messages in exception group 5 to be indicated by a red traffic light.
Choose:
                 Exception group 5          Exception group 5
Red                 X
Yellow                                                  X
Green
6. Save

Red Light with Authorization Object in PFCG

Hello All - I have a question with authorization objects, there are three roles with red lights 'ON' in authorization object screen in our PRD. However users who are using these roles have no auth issues, standard procedure is to make all lights green in PFCG by maintaining these auth objects.
Big question is "what is the down fall by leaving these objects RED, I need to support my theory when I say all lights green with auth objects.
Why best practise says maintain all lights to green?
Please suggest, appreciate your suggestions.

Red Object: As you know that authorization Objects comprises of Authorization fields. There are certain fields, which are known as "Organization Level" fields and need to be maintained Centrally. If you miss this fields, then the traffic light icon is RED. For all other authorization fields, light will be Yellow if you miss any blank field to maintain. During check, these fields will provide missing authorization (but you may not get error if same object is present in the role with all fields maintained status).
Disabled Object: If you make any Object Disable, then during check, this Object will not be treated for checking Authorizations. But profile generator will keep this in mind, so you don't get Standard Objects repeatedly (if already present in Deactivated status also) whenever you go to "..Merge with New Data".

Traffic light on the basis of last month

Hi guys,
I have a question about the traffic light in the model Visual Composer. I would like to have a traffic light besids a table or graphic that wil be shown the status ( Green, red, yellow!) on the basis of the last month. In the table or in a graphic wil be shown several data of several months. But the traffic light have to respond on the basis of last month. That means that, if the last month exception( in the query) is green, the traffic light also wil be green.
Can anybody help me please?

How can i get only two types of order as example in a pie chart? I have seen that in a pie chart you can only add one formula, not two.So!!

In the VC model create an Expression Box. Double click on this box to open up its Properties.
In the control properties window there is tab "Styles", here give Green color to the column 'Style' and in the next column 'Condition' select 'Enter Formula...'
Select the field and enter the condition.

I am using below code to generate the traffic lights but in column header i am getting one button i want to replace that as Traffic lights. how to do this can any body tell me

How to differentiate defects in QA32 using Traffic light

Hi QM Experts,
My scenario is,
How to set Monitor control in QA32 screen.
In the QA32 screen list of inspection lot will be displayed, for that inspection lot if any characteristics value is within / outside the limit, ie. for example specification is A2,R3 and i found 1 defect also defect is 4.
how to differentiate this with the help of Traffic light.

Hi Krish,
As per best of my information, the traffic lights in QA32, depends on the Start Sate and End Date of the inspection lot.
If the End Date is not passed away (the current date is between the Start Date and End Date) it will be yellow.
If the End Date is Passed away and UD is not not for the Lot then the traffic light will be RED and as soon as UD done at any date/stage the light will become Green.
Conclusively, the light can't be linked with Defect Codes.

Traffic light in RF monitor screen (LRF1) - how it is derive from?

This is a question about WM-RF. My question is how does the system determine the traffic light color in the RF monitor screen (LRF1). I read the SAP help portal and compare it to the screen and it still doesn't make any sense out of it..
On the SPRO, there is DEFINE QUEUE table, with thefollowing setup:

Next, I went to LRF1 and saw this record with warehouse 110, and Queue B01GEN, and having the following value_:

Thus the relation is: 15/2 = 7.5
Why is it green? SAP help portal give the following explaination, and I don't know to derive it?
A- The queue tranffic light is green if the relation is less than the value given in the left relation field.
B - The queue traffic light is yellow if the relation is greater than or the same as the value specified in the right field.
C - The queue traffic light is red if the relation is greater than or the same as the value specified in the left relation field.

Traffic lights in SP15 : Flex 2.0

Hey all,
We've upgraded lately our Portal and BW system to SP15. In SP13 we were able to set up according to wiki about traffic lights, traffic lights. Now this is not possible any more. is this due to the deployment in Flex 2.0? Our is there an other reason?
Is there any body who knows how to solve this issue?
