Yellow Triangle with ! in it???????

I have a video from this computer that I recorded with this computer onto my iMovie about one year ago. I wanted to watch it again but it won't play. On all of the scenes there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation in the middle of it. What does that mean and what can I do to be able to watch it again? I try and export it to quick time and just onto my computer but it says wither Error -3000 or Error -2900. What does this mean??? Help!

It means you have either moved, disconnected (from an external drive), or renamed the clips that you used in your project last year.

Shouldn't really be the MPE at fault here ... what is the codec of the footage/sequence/project?
Second, can you create a new project in PrPro, then in the media browser, import that sequence from the other project?

  • My ipod will not stay connected to my computer.  When first plugged into the usb port, I can see it as a drive.  Within seconds it disappears.  If I look in the devices area, I can see it but it has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point beside it.

When I connect my ipod to a usb port on my computer, I can see it in my computer as a drive for a few seconds and then it disappears.  It can be seen under devices but as a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it.  If I run trouble shoot, it states windows is disconnecting this device.
I can see it in itunes as a device.  However, this is a brand new computer, running windows 7.  My last one bit the dust in mid use.  I want to save the songs on my ipod and to do that I believe I need to be able to see the files on the ipod.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great Troubleshooting on your own so far!. (If you got 2 PC and 2 iPod would be much easier, some of the people in this community has more than 2 of each.)
Hope you did not connect it to a USB Hub, the sync cable must be plug in directly to a USB2 port at the back of the Desktop Computer.
If you have a spare Notebook, with iTunes, connect it to the Notebook, to check if the iPod is working or hung.
Can you iPod run and play songs, when disconnected from the PC? (Sorry, for just asking the obvious)
Anyway, just hard reset your iPod, so that we can start from scratch
    1. if your iPod is hung, reset it by pressing Menu and Center button for at least 10 secs till the Apple logo, comes on. (this won't delete your songs in the iPod, if they are not corrupted))
    2. Connect it back to your Notebook or Desktop.
if your iPod screen is dead, try charging the battery by connecting it to another computer. if it doesn't connect to successfully to another computer, it may need servicing.
    Good luck!

suddenly my pdfs have a yellow triangle with an "!" in it as the default icon in the Finder (running 10.5.8). if I choose Get Info and change the default "Open with..." application from Preview to Adobe Acrobat, it's fine, the icon shows up as an Adobe Acrobat icon, but if I change the default program back to Preview the yellow triangle comes back. this was not the case a few days ago. not sure what I did to make this happen.

  • Yellow triangle with exclamation mark under iPod Properties - Hardware

I am not able to see my iPod shuffle icon on itunes.  When I viewed iPod properties - hardware, I see a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark and it says, "USB Mass Storage Device". What does this mean and how can I fix it?  Also, device status:  Windows in uninstalling this device. (Code 21)

Since you use Windows XP, see if this document and procedure related to the iPod's drive letter is applicable.

  • Portal content not transporting.  Yellow triangle with exclamation shows.

    Hi,
I cannot move 2 new folders and 10 iViews from my DEV portal to my QC portal.  When I try, the package shows up in QC, but when I look at the package, a yellow triangle with a exclamation point inside shows to the immediate left of the items to move.  And if I select any one of the objects to get properties, I get the errror "Failed to get Property Editor! null".  Further, I cannot create the folders manually on QC, because it get an error
An exception occurred while processing a request for :

One of the iViews is built from a custom PAR.  When I first attempted to import this package, the PAR did not exist.  I have since loaded the PAR.
It seems that the folders exist "somewhere" in the portal, but I cannot see them in the "content admin" mode.
What can I do to resolve this?
    Thank you for any help!
    Kevin

This has been solved.  I noticed that other portal developers could see the content without error.  As it turns, what I had to do was refresh cache on the server, and clear my browser cache.  Once I did this, everything appeared as normal.
    Thanks for the help.

  • Internet Explorer "yellow triangle with an exclamation mark"

    Hi Guys,
I have an ADF project that consists of one jspx screen for the menu and a region on the right that host the JSFF screens (basically your menu selection).
Now each time that I minimize the Internet Explorer window to do something on my PC (ex: check emails, work on a document, …..), and I come back to the ADF screen (let’s say after 1 hour or more) I see on some of the component (ex: af:commandButto or af:commandToolbarButton or ….) a “yellow triangle with an exclamation mark”, this does not restrict you from using these components, but to get rid of that exclamation mark, you need to close the screen and open it again.
Does anyone have any idea, what can cause this and how to solve it??????? Or at least point me in the right direction on how to debug it????????????
Note that JDev console log does not report any warning or error message.
    JDev 11.1.1.6
    Internet Explorer version 8
    Thanks,

  • Why is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark next to a pic in a photo book?

Why is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark next to a pic in an iPhoto book? What does it mean? Pic was emailed from an iPhone.

the photo is low resolution - less that 180 DPI - you can ignore if you choose but Apple will not stand behind the quality of the printing for that photo - it may be fuzzy or even unacceptable to you - or may not be - I have printed photos with a LowRes warning and been ok with the results
What is the size of the photo (pixels) and the size of the frame you placed it in (inches) - divide the pixel dimensions by inches and you have DPI (Dots Per Inch)

  • Restarted my Mac and a white screen appeared, remained, and a yellow triangle with an explanation point stating Start up disk full- Help!!!!

I updated a couple days ago to OS x Maverick, everything on my Mac was working fine after update. But, Than today When I went to do stuff on my Mac it was frozen. So, I turned it off. When i turned it back on, the apple icon was on the screen and you can see that it was loading, but after several seconds it went to a white/grayish screen and a yellow triangle with an explanation mark popped up with a warning saying that "startup disk is full" i clicked okay and the warning went away but the white screen remained. I did do a Command R and pulled up the utility disk where I did repair disk, and than permission to repair, but it did not work. I think i need to erase some files and so forth, but I cant get  past the white screen and into the desktop  in order to do get to files to delete. Please help!
    Thank you

You should never, EVER let a conputer hard drive get completely full, EVER!
With Macs and OS X, you shouldn't let the hard drive get below 15 GBs or less of free data space.
If it does, it's time for some hard drive housecleaning.
Follow some of my tips for cleaning out, deleting and archiving data from your Mac's internal hard drive.
Have you emptied your iMac's Trash icon in the Dock?
If you use iPhoto, iPhoto has its own trash that needs to be emptied, also.
If you store images in other locations other than iPhoto, then you will have to weed through these to determine what to archive and what to delete.
If you use Apple Mail app, Apple Mail also has its own trash area that needs to be emptied, too!
Delete any old or no longer needed emails and/or archive to disc, flash drives or external hard drive, older emails you want to save.
Look through your other Mailboxes and other Mail categories to see If there is other mail you can archive and/or delete.
Other things you can do to gain space.
Once you have around 15 GBs regained, do a search, download and install OmniDisk Sweeper.
This app will help you locate files that you can move/archive and/or delete from your system.
STAY AWAY FROM DELETING ANY FILES FROM OS X SYSTEM FOLDER!
Look through your Documents folder and delete any type of old useless type files like "Read Me" type files.
Again, archive to disc, flash drives, ext. hard drives or delete any old documents you no longer use or immediately need.
Look in your Applications folder, if you have applications you haven't used in a long time, if the app doesn't have a dedicated uninstaller, then you can simply drag it into the OS X Trash icon. IF the application has an uninstaller app, then use it to completely delete the app from your Mac.
Download an app called OnyX for your version of OS X.
When you install and launch it, let it do its initial automatic tests, then go to the cleaning and maintenance tabs and run the maintenance tabs that let OnyX clean out all web browser cache files, web browser histories, system cache files, delete old error log files.
Typically, iTunes and iPhoto libraries are the biggest users of HD space.
move these files/data off of your internal drive to the external hard drive and deleted off of the internal hard drive.
If you have any other large folders of personal data or projects, these should be archived or moved, also, to the optical discs, flash drives or external hard drive and then either archived to disc and/or deleted off your internal hard drive.
    Good Luck!

  • I've been trying to link my apple id to my macbook. every time i try this it doesn't work and gives me a little yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in. any help on the matter would be great.

so everytime i try and link my apple id to my macbook (mid 07) it doesnt work and i get the yellow triangle. i recently reset my mac as i forgot my password. in the process i made another user to reset my password. doing this i went through the complete start up of a macbook (from when you buy from new). i dont know if this has anything to do with this problem. but i have now deleted that user.
    any help is much appriciated.

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
    That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now.  They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
    Thanks for listening,
    Melissa

  • Yellow triangle with "!", red and green lines

why is this showing up on parts of my clip?

this is the range check feature showing if you have legal luma levels (green check) or illegal levels (yellow !)
try searching the PDF manual with the term "range check" to get a greater understanding of the feature and how it can help you (as well as how to disable and enable it)

  • Yellow triangle appears on all photos but no problem found?

Things have definitely slowed down on Aperture since I upgraded to a Nikon D800 (each raw file is about 40mb). I'm having problems with speed and occational crashes. Yesterday the computer (macbook pro, 3 years old) forced me to shutdown and when I restared I had to rebuild the library which finally opened and showed ALL my images in Aperture had the yellow triangle with "!" and the arrow. I've had this issue with some files before and would "locate referenced files" (I keep all masters on an external which is backed up twice in differnt locations). Locating referenced files has always fixed the problem but here's the issue, sorry it's taken this long to get to it.....
When I locate files they are found quickly on the external drive but the button to reconnect (tried 'reconnect all' too) doesn't do anything. I then finished all my edits from the last shoot and exported without any problem. So it looks like it's all working fine but I'm confused/nervous about those **** yellow triangles that are on all of my 17000 images.
One thought is that I may have had my second external plugged in still after I had done a manual backup... and maybe Aperture referenced the backed up files? Even if that happened I should still be able to locate referenced files on the master hard drive and reconnect all.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
    Cheers
    Pete

When I 'control/alt/clicked' and chose "repair database" in Aperture, it quickly said there was a problem and I had to "Rebuild the database". I first quit, and made a backup just in case, then went back in and chose the "rebuild" option. IT WORKED. All the yellow triangles are gone and it even fixed a couple of the glitches with exporting I was having.
Thanks for your guidence Kirby and hope this helps others.

  • Yellow triangle

    Hi
when I colapse a div sometimes I see a yellow triangle with

    done a search

The page is not up anymore, but all those <div
    align="center"> tags are not
ours. Dreamweaver inserts them when folks try to use
    Dreamweaver like a word
processor by clicking icons on the property inspector. It is
    very easy to
have good code go pear-shaped -- even in CS3. That said,
    Dreamweaver often
loses track of itself and gives false-positive errors
    transiently. When it
happens to me, I make a backup, close the page, reopen it,
    and the problem
    often disappears.

  • What does the exclamation yellow triangle window that says ok in iphoto

When I try to email a photo in iphoto I get a message window with a yellow triangle with an exclaimation point in it, and an ok button but it will not send my photo by email even when I click ok.

A yellow triangle is usually a low- resolution warning. Are you using iPhoto as mailer and are you using a stationary card? The photo you are using may have too few pixels to be used with the stationary template.
Try to use a larger photo.
