Yellow?

Hi everyone,
I have my iPhone 4s since the 9th Jan. and i noticed a yellow tint on my screen, late i go to an Apple Store on Barcelona and they explain me that this is because there are a lot of screen builders and it's normal and they don't change me the iPhone. Anyone have also this problem?

It would appear it does happen in the White iPhone as the OP has a White iPhone!! I can only suggest you speak to the Apple Store for a replacement and maybe send some feedback to Apple about the issue. http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

I've been trying to link my apple id to my macbook. every time i try this it doesn't work and gives me a little yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in. any help on the matter would be great.

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

How to delete "Other" partition in yellow color that appears when I connect my devices to the laptop, it's a giant one (4 GB)

Hello, I would like to know how to delete the yellow partition named "Other" (in italian "Altro") that appears when I connect all my devices to the laptop. This partition in Ipad comes with 4 Gb that for an instrument of 16 seems a bit too also because it far exceeds anything else. So far not been able to find useful information and is a very common problem. Thank you.

If restoring from backup does not fix things, you will have to restore as a new device to get rid of it. There is no way to directly delete it, other than restoring your phone."
First of all it's terrible, (but we know that itunes is very far to work properly, it's a store) and how many times a day we should make a restoring? and if it does not have we to buy another device? I cannot believe that there aren't other solutions.

What's Wrong? My iPad Lost it's Yellow Tint!

My new iPad never really had a yellow tint. The display, though, was obviously warmer in tone than my iPad 2, and the warmth was across the entire display, not just part of it.
Space around text was, in particular, whiter on the iPad 2, and the text seemed to be darker - more contrasty. I had to call my wife over to take a look and she confirmed what I was seeing, when the two iPads were side-by-side.
As others have noted, if the two iPads were not compared side-by-side, the new one looked fine. Put them together, and the difference was very apparent.
However, having read from several posters that it's an issue with glue, I decided not to panic. Last night, I spent a few hours with the new iPad on the Web, reading people's comments, and then browsing the topic of color - how we see, Edwin Land's ideas about color perception being based on context, etc. It made for interesting, if not hard-going reading.
Just before I went to bed, I did a last comparison check. I discoverd, to my amazement, that my new iPad's display had lost most of its warm tint over the past few hours. As far as I can tell, it's now totally gone. When I compare it to my iPad 2, the new iPad still looks warmer, but only in comparison.
Now the iPad 2 has a bluish cast to my eyes, especially when I'm looking at a page with black text and white space - the white is blue. With photos, the difference is down to a slight saturation gain with the new iPad. And the retina display increases sharpness just enough to make some photographs, along with their increased saturation, appear to be 3D.
I have a feeling this problem of tint/color will resolve itself for most people, one way or the other. For those who can relax for a few days, they might find, as I did, that the yellow will disappear. Or they might trade in their iPads, but there's no guarantee, if they get an iPad fresh off the boat, that it won't have the same problem, at least for a few days.

That's good to hear that the "Yellow tint" has sorted it self out.
Maybe the "Heat" issues that that people have with the batteries will sort it self out after a few discharge - recharge cycles.

I have to warm this topic again.
I'm facing the same problem like devender. I followed the posted advices, whithout any change. I also checked note 741289 - no change. I restarted the j2ee engine out of TA SMICM where I also checked the application server's state (j2ee Server Operational = FALSE) - no effect.
In SAPMMC I restarted the instance without any effect. The disp+work.EXE still has a yellow state, says "Running, Message Server connection ok, Dialog Queue time: 0.00 sec, J2EE status info unavailabe.

There's the solution manager running on the same server. In his instance everything's fine.
After changing some instance parameters i'm getting some errors:

Hi，
So switch a LAN card fix this issue...seems a compatibility issue or maybe some packs or programs you installed recently cause this issue.
Have you manually check the network adapter driver from the PC's manufacture website? sometimes, it will be a time delay before Microsoft push out the driver update.
Check if issue exists in safemode with network, this mode will launch Windows with limited sets of files and drivers.
if you have a restore point, restore the pc to a previous point at which the pc is functioning fine.

My Time Capsule will not work through Time Machine but need to back up because my hard drive is corrupt. I hard-wired it to my MacBook Pro and have been dragging files to capsule in finder window. Will I have problems since it's flashing yellow constantly

My Time Capsule is constantly flashing yellow and it will not preform periodic back-ups. When I tell it to from the icon on the top task bar, it freezes MacBook...every time. I am now dragging files from internal HD to TC found in Finder after hardwiring it to laptop treating it as an external HD. Can in trust it to store files and photos as my MacBook is telling me to back-up because my internal HD is corrupt and may need replacing?

A PC can have more issues connecting than a Mac.
But it really should not matter.. so just try it in situ.. press and hold the reset.. once it starts up, it will return to default IP, 10.0.1.1 the PC should then be able to find it via the airport utility.
If not drag it over to the Mac and plug in there by ethernet.. or since it is a laptop, really should not be that difficult to drag the Laptop and plug it into the TC.
Important thing is to get access to the TC.
The Mac if it is running lion, then you MUST download and install 5.6 airport utility to do anything useful.

White MacBook become yellow-dirty

Hi,
I've read a lot of articles from the web about cleaning methods for white macbook.
I've bought this laptop in 2006 and now, after three years of use (I'm a lady and I usually have my computer sessions with clean hands :-)) the area (especialt dx part) near the trackpad and the trackpad button are become somehow 'yellow'.
As I've tried first with computer cleaning kit that was very good for the screen and exterior part but doesn't solve my real problem. Then, I've tried with 'magic rubber' of Mastro Lindo that works for almost everything, but in this situation also this one was useless.
So, my mac is not cover by assistance anymore, but I think is something related to the material, not to the use. Before getting frustrated and running after my reseller to ask for assistance, I'd wanna now if some other people have the same problem and it has a solution.

The white MacBooks only have dirt and discoloration problems for some people, not everyone. It all depends on what you put on your hands or what your body secrets more abundantly than you wash off. We are all biologically different.
I have heard many folks say that they good very good cleaning results using Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (U.S. based product name) but I have never had cause to use it so cannot comment from experience. It is an abrasive so using it on the glossy plastics seems like a bad idea, but again, I have no experience with it.

Yellow triangle and a grayed out movie clip

Hi, I created a project in iMovie 08, kind of elaborate for me, with several movie clips, each with a transition, and background music from iTunes through out the majority of the 3 minute and 30 second final project. Initially, all was well and the project played perfectly. A couple of days later when I went into iMovie 08 to enhance the project, several clips were grayed out and had a yellow triangle in the clip. Placing the cursor over the clip resulted in the clip "coming to life" that is revealing the clip but the clip was not visible in the browser and the grayed out clips were not visible if I played the project in full screen mode. If I published the project to the web, the grayed out clips would not show (the video portion); the audio which was part of the whole project would play. I do not think I moved any clips to a different location although I certainly added other clips to iPhoto and then to iMovie. I just finished the lynda.com training on iMovie 08 which was just released and I got no help from that training on the yellow triangle problem. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

Great news! After some browsing around, I located the problem, and now my movie project is fixed!
As it turns out, videos that are located in iPhoto are referenced based on the Event that they belong to, which means that if you change the name of the Event that the picture belongs to then iMovie will no longer be able to find your picture. (This is also why the clips appear in the lower section of iMovie, because they are still there, just in a renamed or merged event.)
I was able to fix the problem very easily by renaming my event back to the original name, and then after closing and restarting iMovie all the nasty little yellow triangles were gone and all my clips were back as if they'd never left.
This may or may not help, but for me, to make sure that I got the event name correct, I found the movie file (which was in "Movies/iMovie Projects") and then right mouse clicked and selected "Show Package Contents" so that I could see what was in my project, and then opened the "Project" file, which had the names listed in it. Hope that helps!

Shouldn't really be the MPE at fault here ... what is the codec of the footage/sequence/project?
Second, can you create a new project in PrPro, then in the media browser, import that sequence from the other project?

Yellow triangle appears on all photos but no problem found?

Things have definitely slowed down on Aperture since I upgraded to a Nikon D800 (each raw file is about 40mb). I'm having problems with speed and occational crashes. Yesterday the computer (macbook pro, 3 years old) forced me to shutdown and when I restared I had to rebuild the library which finally opened and showed ALL my images in Aperture had the yellow triangle with "!" and the arrow. I've had this issue with some files before and would "locate referenced files" (I keep all masters on an external which is backed up twice in differnt locations). Locating referenced files has always fixed the problem but here's the issue, sorry it's taken this long to get to it.....
When I locate files they are found quickly on the external drive but the button to reconnect (tried 'reconnect all' too) doesn't do anything. I then finished all my edits from the last shoot and exported without any problem. So it looks like it's all working fine but I'm confused/nervous about those **** yellow triangles that are on all of my 17000 images.
One thought is that I may have had my second external plugged in still after I had done a manual backup... and maybe Aperture referenced the backed up files? Even if that happened I should still be able to locate referenced files on the master hard drive and reconnect all.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

When I 'control/alt/clicked' and chose "repair database" in Aperture, it quickly said there was a problem and I had to "Rebuild the database". I first quit, and made a backup just in case, then went back in and chose the "rebuild" option. IT WORKED. All the yellow triangles are gone and it even fixed a couple of the glitches with exporting I was having.

Quicktime Does Not Work...Striped yellow/black bar or Q with ?

Hi, I have read the previous posts about similar problems with quicktime but the posted fixes have not resolved my issue. I have three computers. Quicktime quit working on two of them. Before upgrading to the latest version, I got the yellow/black striped bar when quicktime tried to open. Now I get the Q with the ?. I've checked my settings and even reselected the "default" settings several times but to no avail. As to the "system preferences and deselecting quicktime with flash" input, I have been unable to locate this setting (at least as described). I have upgraded my flash as well. All three computers supposedly have the same settings.
Sometimes I receive a popup indicating additional quicktime software/plugins are required to run the media and asking if I want to get the necessary files. When I click, "yes," it takes me to the quicktime plugin page, but does not tell me what is needed.

The site posted is using Adobe Flash Player 9. The QT version on the computer only supports version's of Macromedia Flash Player 5. Open the QT control panel, go to Browser tab, Mime Settings, and uncheck Flash media, listed under Misc.Misc. file formats. Or refer too:http://kb.mozillazine.org/Quicktime
Or update QT to 7.3.1.70
