I called Verizon Wireless and they gave me the number: 1-866-962-3713 -- which asks if you're calling about the 1GB rewards offer - if you select this option it says "We are aware of customers having problems with this offer and hope to have it resolved soon. Please check back again." So, will try again in a few days.
The original technical support rep I spoke to from the main line was incredibly helpful (helped me find the 866 number above). A+.

    Sounds a bit odd to me.  Like Gene says, if you are signed in to the Desktop Application Manager, it should recognize you and the plan you are on, and let you install LR without asking for a serial number.  Try signing out of the Desktop Application Manager by clicking on the cog icon > Preferences > Account tab > sign out.  Then sign back in again.  This forces the Desktop Application Manager to scan your system (it normally only does so once every 24 hours looking for updates).
    If LR is still not inviting you to Install it, then sign in to your Adobe account .  See what it says under My Subscriptions. I don't have the Photography plan, so don't know what you should see, but I imagine it will be obvious.  Click on Manage and see if that makes sense.
    If still in trouble, I think you would do better starting a thread in the Creative Cloud forum that deals specifically with this sort of issue.  You'll also find some FAQ links on that page that will likely give you a clue as to what is going on.
    Bottom line is I have never been asked for a serial number installing LR from the CC Desktop Application Manager.

    If it's still asking for the seller's Apple ID and password, then he most likely did not actually remove the iPhone from iCloud. If the problem persists, return the iPhone and get your money back. The seller can figure out the problem and resell the iPhone later.

    First problem: You're fine. The hotter it gets, the more the fans spin up. The computer is designed so that at max load, at max fan speed, it won't overheat (unless it's obstructed by something, e.g. sitting on your bed swallowed by a comforter). It's not the best thing to keep it that toasty for days at a time, but a couple hours at a time shouldn't be a problem.
    Second problem: If something in the trash won't delete, just use Secure Empty Trash and it should be fine. Since .torrent files are quite small, it should only take a couple seconds.

    I ordered it through my university and I thought I was supposed to get a full version of office as it was thorugh an academic institution, I find I only have the test version,
    Am I supposed to get the full version. I'm sure it said it was when I ordered it.

    It is possible they were offering a rebate w/purchase of Office. I've seen that advertised a few months ago locally.
    The Student/Teacher edition was free after rebate with supporting purchase of any Macintosh product.
    But, you had to lay out the cash at the register to get Office, first. It wasn't free "out the door". Since it has only been a couple days, I'd call the store up and ask them about the offer. Maybe your salesperson did not know of the add-on?

    Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
    1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
    2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
    3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
    5. Release the Home button
    6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
    7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
    8. Use iTune to restore iPad
    Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

    - Add files from file menu > select pdf > add to site
    - Select the content (rectangle,text etc) and click on hyperlink dropdown > it should show you the added files list

  • How do I get my music back from a computer which has been recently serviced. I am able to log into my itunes account but lost half of my library which was music I imported originally.

    I need help. I recently had my cpu serviced by Geek Squad, They completely renamed the CPU and now all of the music I imported is gone. I dont even have my library anymore. On my old iphone 3g, which I let my kids use, my entire library is there but on my 4gS, i only have the music which was purchased through itunes. I miss my songs and have no idea where to begin with this process.

    Your  music will only be where you put it.
    It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup cop of your computer.
    Certainly you did not have our computer serviced without making sure your backup copy was up to date.

    No.  Provided the computer that you use to upload / match your Songs is authorised to play all of the Songs all works well - once complete you can download Song files that will play on your libraries / other computers without each computer having to be authorised.

         I purchased an HP G62-465DX Notebook PC last Sunday (04/03/11) & it came with a six month subscription of Kaspersky Lab. I installed the antivirus software before I did anything else as instructed, but now after only turning my computer on three times there's an infected message under the Kaspersky detected threats tab. Does that mean my computer is infected?

         If indeed this message means that my laptop is infected, why did this happen? I installed Kaspersky before I even used the computer, why was I not protected? On another note, the only websites I have gone to have been MSN (homepage), AOL & GMAIL (personal email), Bank of America, & Best Buy. Where did I pick up the virus? I’m so confused. I was told that Norton wouldn't last one round with Kaspersky on a good day, so how did I end up with a virus before I really even started using my new laptop?
