Yesterday while downloading an app on my 3GS, my iPhone froze, and I switched it off to reboot. Following that, every few minutes, the screen will flicker and the phone will restart. What's wrong? And how should I fix it?
I recieved my iPhone 3GS around Christmas. It has been working great, until yesterday. I was downloading an app and suddenly my messaging froze. I couldn't view incoming messages, and every chat I clicked on displayed the same frozen dialogue with only the contact names different. (The app was supposedly reliable, I read over the reviews.) I rebooted my phone in hopes of fixing this, and everything seemed fine for a couple of minutes. Then the screen slightly flickered, and my phone restarted itself. Now, after turning on again, it continues to flicker and crash every few minutes, whether I'm using it or not. Can anyone tell me what could be wrong and how I can fix it?
Restore the Firmware with iTunes.
If still problem and you have Warranty or AppleCare Coverage take to Apple for resolution.
If no coverage, the next step would be battery replacement.

Siri's voice just says everything that i touch. The voice says the numbers i touch but the numbers dont show up on the screen so i cant make phone calls! what is going on??
It sounds as if you have Voiceover activated. You should be able to turn it off by triple tapping the Home button.

When I AirPlay - mirror my iPad to the apple tv, it initially turns on, but then kicks off my iPad over and over again and will not connect or stay connected. What is going on? Intermittent issues are often a result of interference. Check www.istumbler.net (netstumbler for windows). Refer to router manual on how to change channels, make sure it's up to date.

Today, I was on Tumblr, when something popped up. It disappeared before I was able to read it. Suddenly, the page refreshed. Not one picture loaded. I am only able to read the text. None of the pictures on the website are showing up. I tried everything. Restarting the computer, opening a new Firefox window, and everything else I could think of. Tumblr is running fine, on IE. This will open up the page info dialog.
First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.
This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Images+or+animations+do+not+show
Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images. -
Iphone 4s won't turn back on no matter what I do. How should I fix it?
My iPhone today randomly turned off with about 15% left. I assumed it was just out of battery and plugged it in. After about 20 minutes there were still no signs of life and it wouldn't even give the low battery signal. So i plugged it into my computer. Still nothing. I switched chargers and tried on the wall and computer. It's been left charging for a few hours but nothing will turn it back on. When it's plugged into my computer and I go to iTunes, there is no recognition of my phone. Does anyone know what's wrong or what I can do? I leave for vacation early tomorrow.
Also, for extra, my sleep button has been broken for about 6 months so I use that other button to put it to sleep. I usually turn it on by just holding the home button once i plug it in but that obviously has done nothing.
Please try to help me.Usually you would do a reset, by holding down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release.
Since you have a broken sleep I don't see any other options . -
I have had my iPad2 for 3 months. All of a sudden I can't get on line with either my WiFi, which works with my Mac, or 3G celluar. A locked icon appears in the upper right corner of my screen near the battery indicator? Apple support tells me to go "Settings" and click "Reset Network." Cannot find a "Reset Network" button. What can I do to get on line?

Change your Apple ID? sorry not a clear question.
To CHANGE and Apple ID -> you go into your account by going to appleid.apple.com sign in [which has nothing to do with billing etc] and change the primary Apple ID.

There are hundreds of Crash reports with my email address on it. I don't know what is causing it. There is no indication and help anywhere that has indicated it. Flash seemed to be problematic, so I tried uninstalling flash completely and using WITHOUT flash - still the same.
I have uninstalled FF and re-installed it with new file from getfirefox.com - still the exact same.

Starting today my app tabs started closing when I closed my browser. I have tried the suggested solutions but they haven't worked. I haven't updated FF recently. I do have to close my browser frequently because the internet service my family has is of low quality and constantly looses service. Every time it gets service again it asks you to close your browser and start again. App tabs help me keep my sessions when this happens.
PS I recently got a virus that infected my Window's Updater, so I can no longer shut down my computer unless I want it to infect my computer. Please find a solution that does not involve shutting down my computer.
PSS I am currently running Fire Fox 5.0 on Window's 7, if that helps.It turns out that my hard drive was shot. I took my MacBook to the Apple Store on Wednesday, they kept it for analysis and repair. They replaced the hard drive, and I've already got it back (Friday; less than two days in total).
Although I did check my hard disk with the disk utility, it did not identify the problem.
Some other troubleshooting advice that I overlooked was to try reinstalling my OS and to try starting up in Safe Mode. Neither would have helped in this case, but they may be useful for someone else having similar problems.
Other advice - always make sure your data is backed up and that you Apple Care coverage is up to date. -
I have an iPod Touch and when I plug it into my computer, it shows up as a digital camera. Then, it will not show up in iTunes at all. (I have Windows.)
