YHT-493BL Size dimensions.

I have been looking at the Yamaha ( YHT-493BL ) and went to Best Buy and listened to it a couple times and I think it is really good. I am just wondering what the receiver dimensions are because I don't want to buy it and not have enough space for it.
Thanks

OK, let's try these measurements: 17" X 10.75" (Approx). I took these from my 20" widescreen Acer which has the same resolution specs as the iMac.

What size (dimensions and ppi) images sould I make in Photo Shop so they fit into the 9 x 11.25 ibook? (I am a professional photographer who captures in RAW).
I have sent a number of sizes to iPhoto for use in an iBook and they all are too big for the software so I get cropped images even when zoom slider is at it's smallest.
This is very frustrating. I am on a dealine. Please help.

Is your question about a printed book? If so, you likely want to redirect your question to either the iPhoto or Apertuare forums, depending on the software you'll be using to submit your book for printing to Apple.
This forum is actually focussed on the iBooks application for reading (and creating) electronic books for Apple's iOS devices such as the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.
    Good luck!

  • I can't configure the custom page Size Dimensions!!!

We want to print form with special dimensions.
    We did the following steps:
    1. Select print (adobe pdf), properties, presentations, advanced options, PostScript Custom Page Size Definition.
    2. The range to define don't appear in the unit Milimeter.
I am using Acrobat Standar XI. (11.0.03) and there aren't more updates.
    Thanks for your help.

    Gracias,

  • Maximum texture size/dimensions?

    Greetings -
I've read in various places that the max texture size for Stage3D is 2048x2048. Perhaps this is an obvious question, but does this mean that each dimension must be 2048 or less, or that the total size in pixels be less than 2048x2048=4194304? So, is a 4096x1024 texture OK, or not?
    Thanks!

    Hey
It means that each dimension must be 2048 or less.

  • IPhone photo default size / dimension is too big - Fix?

    iPhone space is expensive
When we take a photo with the iPhone (3g and 4s-at least), it's approx 2MB (for a jpg)!
We can have more room in iPhone storage for more music, photos, etc...
My Windows-7 detects the phone and Windows-Explorer auto-opens; therefore, I can drill down into phone/files - only to the photos and simply drag-um-over. They're all huge!
Printing a 2MB pic is big enough to cover a whole bed-room wall.
We should be able to set this to: 1 MB, 512K, 256K
    - or set defualt photo dimensions
New cameras are the same (even if JPG is selected)
With some cameras, users can set a default picture-size / or rather dimensions re: 4x4, 3x5 (or 10x8, 12x12, 12x14) and the like...
This results in tiny file size.
    Note:
JPG is a deviation from MPG
MPG came first as MPEG (audio + video)
Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG) developed so a surgeon in New York, can assist (video-conference) w/a operation in Los Angeles

So... is there a question in there at all? Fail to find a ??? in the multicolored text....
And if a piddly 5MP 4S is giving you hiccups, wait till you run across an 8MP i5!

  • File Size ( Dimensions)

    Hi,
Is there anyway to increase the drawing sace size.  I am in need of making wraps and fabric prints of up to 90' in length.  Is there a better way of going about this?  We have been decreasing the file size to 10% lets say and then multiplying the size by 1000% in the printer but we have had quality issues.  Shop photoshop may be better at this or indesign?  We have a customers logo when its increase t 3' wide its 40mb in size.  It has photshop type effects to it what can i do to keep this more manageable?
Please let me know what you think.
    Thanks
    Joe

It has photshop type effects to it what can i do to keep this more manageable?
Learn how to do everything in AI using vector effects.... That aside, I agree with the others. There is no reason to increase the document dimensions with vector art, as it can be scaled losslessly. You could design everything on an A4 sheet and it would still be crisp and sharp if blown up by a factor of 10000%. Also, I think you are having a misunderstanding of the "effective resolution". 90" means a huge hang-up poster or something like that which would only be seen from afar. This stuff is printed at 36 dpi or even lower, yet with proper distance, looks perfect. It's all how the human eye perceives it. So in all fairness, what you are considering quality issues are probably none. At best, your injkjet or whatever may produce unfavorable raster alignments, losing some "dots" here and thewre, but that can usually tweaked down to the micrometer, at least from what little I know about these machines. It really strikes me more as a matter of controlling the print process, rather than the input. If bad luck has it, you could throw an image at it that is twice the target res and it would still look rubbish because the printer is not configured properly...

  • CC 2014 changes the location size dimensions that I input

I believe this started after upgrading to Photoshop CC 2014. When trying to position an object on my canvas I'll input the X dimension that I want to use. Photoshop has been adding 0.5 pixel to any dimension that I input. If I go back to correct it, it re-adds the 0.5 pixel. So frustrating. I cannot find any setting that would account for this.
Also, when scaling images, especially those that maintain the original image ratio, I'll input the desired width (say, 1024 px) and Photoshop will change the dimension to something close, but not exactly what I input, like 1023.67px. Keep in mind, this is not the dimension that should auto adjust because I've set it to keep the same proportions.
Is anyone else having this problem? Any idea how to fix it, or is it a bug that Adobe needs to fix?
    Thanks

    Hi Chris,
I'm not talking about document size, but the position of images, etc, that are in the layers. See screen shot below of my Photoshop tool bar (?) area:
For example, I may have wanted this image layer to have an x-position of 151, which I entered here, but after I exit the layer the x-position changes to 151.5px.
    Any ideas?

  • How do I re-size (dimensions

How do I re-size (both dimensions and mgs) a photo in iPhoto?  I have iPhoto II.

Is that really iPhoto 2 or iPhoto 11?
    If it's iPhoto 2 I'm with Larry, I'm afraid.
    With current versions:
As Larry says: crop the pic to your preferred aspect ratio
File -> Export and note two heading:
Jpeg Quality refers to the file size in MB or KB
Size refers to the lenght x breath

  • Change browser background size dimensions

    Hello,
I am looking to put in a BG image in the browser but I need to size it so it fits exactly to the browser. Does anybody know the dimensions for this?
    thank you

Everybody's browser size will be different. There is no set size for a browser background. If you have one user viewing on a 1024x768 and another 1440x900 they are using different sizes (presuming they have their browsers open to the max) then there are the people who use (for example) a 24" imac and may not want their browser open to its fullest extent; how big do they have it??
Your best bet is to design for the current most popular size for a browser/screen resolution which is 1024x768.
    Hope that helps.

  • Changing Photo Size Dimensions

    Hi,
I put a few photo's on CD and attempted to put a couple of photo's on the internet using a PC as I'm not currently online at home. The website I tried to post these on allows space for 2KB for each image, each image I used is less than this. However when I try to post the images/message it says:
Your uploaded image exceeded the maximum dimensions of 650 x 650. Please shrink your image to be smaller than these dimensions.
What does this mean and am I able to do this using the CD the images are on or do I have to do this using iPhoto? If so how?
    Thanks.

    Hi Fancy,
You can shrink the photos in iPhoto. Open iPhoto and select your image > Share > Export... choose the 'Scale Images No Larger Than:', from here you can scale down to 650 X ?. Unless the orginal is square you will get a 'non square' sized image... when finished export to your CD.
To make you images sqaure, you must first crop your image to 'square constrain', save, Share > Export... again go through the steps above, your finished image will be close to 650 x 650...
See if this work and post back... you may or may not encounter problems with the file size as well..

  • Logo Link size/dimensions?

    Good Morning,
Can someone what the size and/or dimension limits are for the Logo link on a Email Security Virtual Appliance 600V?
    Thank you,
    Joe

Spoke w/ Joe earlier via email ---
Why is my company logo not displayed in encrypted envelope via CRES?
From an active CRES account, please verify the following:
The Envelope Profile on the CRES account and the Email Encryption Profile Name on the Email Security Appliance (ESA) must match.
Logo should be at most 60x160 pixels, less than 100kb.
Applies to .gif and .jpg files only.
Since the CRES servers do sync based on periodic schedules, there are times where the logo may take up to 24 hours to propagate.  Most of the time this should occur within 1 hour.
For setting up more than one logo you may use the Multi-Branding feature introduced in AsyncOS 7.0.

  • When using crop tool based on canvas size dimensions, the file size becomes very large

Can someone explain how to best figure out crop tool settings to maintain relative file size?  I tried to use the image / canvas size information to set the crop tools dimensions, but the file saved is 10 times larger than the original.
    Thanks!

What exact version of Photoshop?  There were changes to the crop tool as of CS6, althoughy there's an option to use Classic (the old crop tool behaviour).
It wouldn't hurt to specify your platform (Mac or Win)…
If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand, such as your platform (Mac or Win), exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop and of Bridge, machine specs, what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far, what error message(s) you receive, if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them, etc., someone may be able to help you better and faster.

  • Design Size Dimension considerations for a near future X series Thinkpad

Take a Thinkpad X200 with trackpoint, thinklight and resize into the dimensions of an Ideapad U10 11" size, 10" or 9" size widescreen.  Design it to be fast, powerful, ultra-long lasting batteries, able to open it fully in any coach class airline seat for a Pacific and Trans-Atlantic flight.  I find that I cannot open the X series Thinkpad X31 fully in a coach seat with the seat in front reclined.  The Thinkpad needs to be small enough to be fully opened while the seat in front fully reclined and I am still able to use the laptop weather on a coach seat of a bus, train, or plane on the tray table, not overheat or feel the bottom or palm rest area to be very warm.  Don't need the Touchpad, but I really want the keyboard and trackpoint to stay with the fingerprint reader, Intel's latest Montevina, rollcage, RJ11, RJ45 port, bluetooth, Wi-Max, 802.11n, eSata, OLED, SSD option, XP Pro option, 3 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port, in the familiar matt black finish.  And keep the price under US one thousand dollars in order to sell alot of market share.  Need to still make it shorter when opened.

That is awfully lot of ports to fit in a dimension you are specifying, Txxx series are having problems fitting these ports you are mentioning. In addition powerful and ultralong lasting batteries, means a very big battery. Rollcages??? The small size of X series rules much of the benefits of a roll cage, the role of the roll cage in the larger laptops is to stop the whole laptop flexing when it is open (thus preventing long term damages to the motherboards). The X series having an magnesium casing is enough to prevent the flexing whether it is closed or open.
Technology do get cheap over time, but i don't think Lenovo can currently manage to produce something of your specification without having to cut corners (not something we want).

  • Cover size dimensions...

    Hi,
If the pages within a book or catalog are 8.5" x 11" (the spread, of course, is 17" x 11" flat), what would be the appropriate dimension the cover should be to accomodate with a bit of overhang?  There is no spine, but there will be 7 sheets composing of the pages. Is there a set standard used in the print industry?
    Thanks!

Yes, when everything is folded, I am worried about the cover's side edges coming in .25" or so, revealing the inside pages...but I suppose you are right; it's for the printer to figure out, and with a bit of bleed there should be no problem.
    Thank you!
