Yoga 1 or 2 android tab

When i was out they drew me back in.......
I have the b8000F 10 yoga 1. Lived through the dark days waiting for a satisfactory software update, which in the main arrived Jan 2015. So happy with that. Looking for an additional tablet and the yoga is still unbeaten for design imo. So the ? is, go with the Yoga 1, which seems stable now or suffer the heartache all over again with the Yoga 2 ( not unnoticed the quantity of posts), been there, done that already with the Yoga 1.
Opinions please.

Samsung released their finalized version to the US carriers back in October iirc. It's the carriers that are sitting on their hands now. There is a rumor floating around about a comment on internal Verizon channels that they will be pushing out a Maintenance Release (not Froyo) that should fix the laggy GPS and some other issues while Froyo has been pushed back to early next year. So I guess it's just a waiting game at this point.

Yoga 2 pro Android tab battery not charging

Hi I have two yoga tabs yoga 2 pro and I am facing same kind of battery issues in that Light is not blinking in off mode while charging no battery indication is seen on screen while charging in off mode When Charger is plugged in in off mode to tab lenevo logo comes and then there is a flash on the screen and nothing indicates as it is being charged Otg is no more working Charging goes very slow and is not more than 80% after 10 hours charge and I don't know weather one should charge for that long or not I have come to conclusion that to both my tab it happened after a pendrive was inserted and removed from it without checking notification for safety removing pendrive Now please somebody tell me that it is a hardware fault or software issue that can be cured with update Lenovo plans to do or a coming rom update can solve the problem Please share your views on above facts

Yah! I have the same problem after using OTG. I guess it is hardware problem but unfortunately i bought it in US and now i'm living in Viet Nam. This product doesn't have international warranty so LENOVO! Please support us to send it to us that you should replace new mainboard or do something like that to support us. Dear Abhinav,I found that we have to waste the battery and recharge the tablet. It will be refill 80% in 4 hours. However we couldn't use OTG or connect to PC anymore.

Using webaccess with ipad and android tabs

Because of different browser agent, the gw 2012 webclient has not the
same behavior as the standard webclient using firefox or chrome on pc.
I want to access the documents folder. How to do it on this mobile devices?

Project status at this time:
I edited webacc.cfg and commented out the lines for ipad and android
tabs, e.g.
#templates.useragent.1.id=*Linux*Android*GT-P*
#templates.useragent.1.interface=mobile
Now these devices bring up the whole web application.
now I only have to fix this odd behaviour of the webaccess client
loading documents

I have Idea S6000 Android tab in which i need to install Gujrati fonts.. but someone told me that if i do rooting then warranty will be void so can someone suggest a way to get fonts installed in tab without rooting of tabs.

I’m sorry to inform you that the language other than the default languages installed in the Tablet cannot be installed to display all the options and instructions in the Tablet. Only the Keyboard can be installed in the android device to type customize language. Below is the link to download the keyboard layout for the same and let me inform you that by performing rooting will VOID the warranty:

How to run qemu Linux virtual machines properly on android tabs.

My tab specification's are 1.2 GHz quad core processor and 1 GB ram, 16 GB internal ROM.
I want to run RHEL 5.0 X86 CLI I mean without any gui on my tab and so I followed the steps below
At first on windows I have installed qemu manager and after that I have created a virtual machine RHEL with processor option as Pentium 3 and ram option with 256 MB. The installation was successful and I am able to boot properly into it.
After that I have transferred the installation image to my tab. In order to run the virtual machine I have installed limbo qemu manager. I have selected the transferred image and specified the same options as above.
When I run the above virtual machine I am unable to boot into my system properly and I getting the following errors
kernel panic not syncing: kernel compiled for Pentium+ requires TSC feature.
general protection fault : fffa [#1]
Kindly suggest how to successfully run the above virtual machine on my tab.

You don't say what tablet you have, but all of Lenovo's Android tablets that I know of have ARM processors, not X86 processors, so what you're doing isn't going to work.

Touch Apps not available for Android tabs. Long live Apple

So I buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, use the official Samsung upgrade to Android 4.0.4 and STILL Photoshop Touch is unavailable for my device? Pathetic Adobe, just plain sad. You want to tell me EXACTLY what your app does run on?
Wait, I know as I was told by your customer rep, "If I was a professional photographer I would be using Apple hardware."
Adobe Cloud is just sad. Can't wait till next May when I can cancel my subscription.

There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player since June of 2012.

Why is it not possible to markup on my Android tab while it works on mac perfectly?

The marker button is not activated. And yes it is a password saved file,but it works on my mac...

Where is the file download location on android tab...

I have seen multible forum answers to this question for windows, but not for android tablets.
I have an android tablet with the skype app. Friend sent me some files which i accepted, however i can not find the location on my tablet they downloaded to. In the file's details it says "location: /storage/emulated/0/Download" .... buried in some other folders on the tablet is a file path that matches this, but it has no files there. Also, there seems to be no way of accessing this cloud that everyone is talking about to grab them off of there.
I have looked in literally every folder on the entire tablet, including the invisible ones. I can open the files themselves from the skype chat window, but they don't exist anywhere. Also, they are larger sized files, and when i accepted them it appeared to indeed download them, since skype takes forever to transfer files. And when i open them they open rather quickly... faster then it would take for my internet connection to download them, so i know skype is not streaming them from the cloud.
This has been rather frustrating and I have spent now 2 hours messing with my tablet and searching for answers on the internet. I would like to locate my files... they are not useful to me when accessible only from the chat window.

Ok, so apparently this has turned into an accidental bug report, or something. Today (20 or so hours later) the files i was looking for magically appeared in the very first place i had looked originally... and had rechecked multiple times while trying to find them... the downloads folder in the gallery. -_- Which is the place i had expected them to be to begin with, and had wondered why i didn't find them there. And the folder had been completely empty, so its not like i just missed them. Oh well, I'm glad to have them.

Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Android 13.3 will not turn on

Only had my 13 inch Yoga tablet for 9 days when it seemed to die. Wouldn't turn on and wouldn't charge. Power and volume down didn't work and there is no reset hole. I was on my way back to the shop to get a refund when I thought I'd try some more general googling about the problem and I came across a post on this forum relating to a Yoga 10HD+ saying that you could soft reset it by holding the power button in for 64 seconds (that's not a typo!). Tried it and it worked like a charm - well after 3 attempts it did anyway, the first resulted in the light flickering when I pressed the power button which gave me enough hope to try again which resulted in it switching on but getting stuck at a battery screen. My question is, why oh why is this not printed in big letters in the quick start leaflet, and more importantly why isn't it even in the manual!!! How many people are going to be returning their tablets as dead just because they don't know about this top secret reset procedure? It's just crazy. Anyway, rant over. The tablet itself is absolutely awesome by the way. It has exceeded my highest expectations in all areas - other than giving me heart failure when it appeared to die that is.

Buenas Tardes Tengo un problema con mi Yoga Tablet 2, me llego una notificación de Facebook al intentar ingresar la tablet quedo con la pantalla blanca y completamente bloqueada (tampoco se ha descargado y permanece con la hora de cuando se bloqueo); ya intente presionando continuamente el boton de apagado y no sucedio nada, al igual que oprimir boton de apagado y de volumen a la vez (con el mismo resultado). ¿que puedo hacer? Agradezco una pronta respuesta, adjunto foto de la tablet

El apagado forzoso solo es presionando el botón de encendido sin soltar por un lapso de tiempo.
Botón de encendido + botón volumen es para otros casos dependiendo del modelo.
