Yoga 2 Pro returned. Worth to try again?

I've had the 8GB Yoga 2 Pro for a about a month and a half and have had a lack luster experience with lots of issues of shutting down, freezing and just not being able to power on. After trying to give it another try, I started it from scratch and it took 1 day for it to freeze again, shut down and then finally not be able to turn it back on again.
So I took it back to Best Buy, thankfully I was able to fully return it with no issues.
My problem is that when it wasn't causing me issues I really liked it, but is it worth it to try again? Did I just get a bad apple? Is anyone else out here having no issues at all?

Constant freezing and shutting down are definitely not common issues, so if those are the only issues you've had with it and put up/did not notice anything else, by all means you should try again.
I'm about to start pulling my hair out with mine because of all the common issues and the little things that for some might be unnoticable, but for me add up to a crappy experience. I think my experiment with Windows and 2-in-1s is coming to a close, but I can't be spending 1/2 time using the machine troubleshooting issues or worring about the stupid battery life because a Haswell machine can't last 6 hours if I use it for more than light browsing. Between XPS 12, SP2 and now Y2P, I'm pretty much done. Tomorrow I'm doing a clean reinstall, and will try it for a week. If nothing changes, it's going back, and I'm even looking at anything else in the Windows camp until all high DPI screens are the norm, battery life is trully 8-9 hours+, and MS has had time to iron out all the little crap. As much as I feel that in a lot of ways going back to Apple is a step back (I've really gotten used to a touch-screen for example), in my years of owning various Apple machines I have never once had any issues of this sort, and at the end of the day I need a machine that works with minimal fuss.

Also if I go to system preferences accounts and re-enter the password it fixes the glitch sometimes.

I have never had an issue until the past few days as I have been setting up my new iPhone 5s. I used to have an iPhone 4.
When I go to the 'Messages' App., Preferences> Accounts> the iMessage account is set as "(Inactive)".

Trying to Hot Sync Visor Pro with Windows 7 (64 bit OS) - getting error: "The connection between your handheld computer and the destktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."

I read the posting regarding the options on Hotsyncing for Windows 7; however, I have some questions as I have a 64-bit system.
I have a Visor Pro that I'm trying to Sync up with my new laptop which is running Windows 7.
Steps I have taken:
* installed the Visor Palm Desktop 3.0.1 that came with the Visor (which the installation went well)
* The issue arises when I push the "Sync" button on the cradle and the following error message appears "The connection between your handheld computer and the destktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."
Since I have a 64-bit OS it appears that I have 2 options: 1) bluetooth or 2) Infrared.
I have to admit I don't know know how to do either of these (how can I tell if this Handspring Visor Pro has bluetooth (which I don't it does)?).
Then how about the Infrared option? I see on the PDA it has a red area that one can "beam" info. Is this the same as Infrared or my 2nd option?
I love my Visor and want to continue using it, but need to backup the valuable info!
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Hello lwalbring and welcome to the Palm forums.
Your Visor, as you suspect, does not have Bluetooth, so you must use the IR HotSync option. Since you are using Windows 7 64-bit, I believe that you are going to have to upgrade to Palm Desktop 6.2.2 to make things work from an OS/Driver perspective.
Since you are using such an old device, you are also going to have to download and install the PalmHotSyncSetup Utility from Pimlico. This update turns on support for old Palm OS PDAs in Palm Desktop 6.2.2. Without the update, you won't be able to sync your Visor with Palm Desktop 6.2.2. The software is free and the link is all the way at the bottom of the screen.
Lastly, if your PC doesn't have an IR port on it, you will need to purchase a USB to IR adapter. Some laptops still have IR ports and most desktops don't.
Once you have all the pieces, you'll want to go back to the Windows 7 and Vista HotSync thread again, and follow the directions for setting up and configuring IR HotSyncs.

Ran HP Print & Scan Doctor - finds no problems. When sending a scanned document to the user email it has " Error Server Failure Try again Later " message . Can run test to the scanner without any errors. Tried to reset the printer - same result.

I read about the scan to email issue you are having and I will gladly try to help you! I would suggest checking your scan to email settings from the EWS, and perhaps run the scan to email wizard again. You should also see a scan and test option in the setup.
Here is a link to the User Manual, that has quite a bit of great info. Check out page 62 for the scan to email information.

9/12/10: More details: Firefox 3.6.9 goes to sites without my clicking on them (Google-Analytics, Wordslife, a gossip magazine, among others.). Google-Analytics and Wordslife appear as an address on a tab only; the gossip mag. appears when I minimize another site I'm on. I get a lot of "Firefox can't connect." I click "Try again." It usually does.
I have Windows XP (Pro, I think), Norton Internet Security and Ad-Aware. I use Outlook Express and g-mail. I have an account at Yahoo mail, but I rarely use it.
Also, my husband just swtiched us to a different router, but he hasn't experienced these problems.
Copy and paste ALL the info. from Troubleshooting? Holy cow! Okay :)
I am not tech-savvy, so I hope I'm clear on the problems. Thanks for whatever help you can give!

I would recommend disabling your Norton 360 security. Navigate to device manager and right click on the USB Mass Storage driver that has a yellow exclamation mark and select uninstall. Make sure the BlackBerry smartphone is not plugged in and restart your computer. Once back up connect your BlackBerry smartphone before opening BlackBerry Desktop Software or re enabling Norton 360. Let windows install the drivers once you connect your BlackBerry smartphone and test with My Computer to make sure it was successful.

Have you tried holding the power button down for several seconds? I would try the force quit as mentioned earlier first, or go to the Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities and try force quit there.
